Lol when I was editing this I was continually surprised by the random things I was saying while I was painting 😆 I think so too! It was a really fun challenge to try.
Yes!!! Cool exercise and all three delicious looking 😊. My question is, how did you resist to the temptation of eating that pastry for a whole 1 hour and 11 minutes? 😅
This is a great question, and I think I’ll add it to my upcoming Q&A video!! But I’ll also give a brief answer here. I’m self-taught! I truly started by buying the cheapest watercolor supplies I could get my hands on, and then I was terrified of painting anything on my clean white paper, so I started watching RUclips videos about watercolor techniques and just painted some random shapes and color swatches. Then I looked up some tutorials for loose florals, and then I just started painting nearly every day. I’ve been doing that for about a year and a half now, and that’s how I got here! For a true beginner, I would recommend something similar. I think that just practicing and allowing yourself to make “bad” art consistently is way more important than any class you could take!
So fun and cool and challenging! I would eat all three paintings
Hah!! High praise!! 😋

This was so much fun to watch! I like all of them, but there was something real nice about that 10 min pastry yumminess! love ittt
Thank you!! I totally agree -- I need to try setting strict time constraints again because I love the result!
"blob blob blob..." LOL loved this. I actually think all 3 are great in their own way because each is a differen style.

Hahaha, that’s an excellent question!! It was a good motivator to finish my paintings 😆
This was cool to watch from the start ! How did you learn painting ? Did you take a class ? what would you recommend for a true beginner ?

@@pepostudios thanks that’s great advice !! Yeah practice is everything, it doesn’t happen overnight.
