Artichokes are my favorite vegetables ever since a kid. I ate my own and all others that didn't want theirs . Boiling them and stuffed , in pot is the only way to eat them. A lot of people bake them and uncovered, it dries up all the good meat of the leaf. Thank you for cooking it the right way.💞💞💞
Artichokes are very expensive if they every do show up in our grocery stores in my country (they are always imported), and the only thing we have all the time are the ones in brine and oil (also comes canned or jar and expensive). I will use broccoli or cauliflower and throw in some canned banana blossom in brine/oil (I find these are the closest taste to the D'Amico artichoke hearts, buy WAAAAAY less expensive).
