- The Lakers are likely going to fire Darvin Ham after this series mercifully ends. Anthony, Raj, Harrison and Sabreena all agree that the accountability can't stop there.
The Lakers can't let Rob Pelinka's ties back to Kobe Bryant and the comfort of having a friend in that position continue to blind them from the poor job he's done.

Bro, could not agree more. I’ve been saying the same thing about this front office for sometime. The nepotism and cronyism of Jeanie Buss’s reign has been a colossal disappointment. It’s clear why Jerry Buss put her only in charge of the business side. Until meritocracy is respected and we get an owner like Jerry Buss and a GM like Jerry West, we will not be able to compete for a championship on a consistent basis.
Lakers are looking good at the half. I expect them to win this one (game 4) with relative ease.

Spectrum broadcast at half showed Pelinka standing in hallway apparently watching the players as they walk into the locker room with no visible signs of interaction. What is that. Some type of heavy front office presence staring them down, letting them know who’s boss? Not a good look, imo.

They yet to address the middle. You need size in the middle. Because you know AD can't gaurd Jokic the whole game. And using Rui is straight dumb. They dont even have to switch to get Rui on Jokic lol Lakers coaching staff has it drawn up that way. We beat them having size in the middle. Since the Lakers has basically only used AD as a center, they have loss. You dont need an all star. Just some size and height.

Lol MAGIC built that 2020 chip team. Pelinka had nothing to do with that. Magic didn't try to "torch" the Lakers. Jeannie turned on him by revoking his right of final say that she promised him when she hired him to be President of basket operations. How can Pelinka get credit for 2020 when he immediately dismantled the 2020 team?
They should hire JJ Redick as the GM and hire Rajon Rondo as their coach . This two gets the respect of Lebron and AD .

A Ham-handed approach by a coach unaware of his best rotations is not ready for Showtime Lakers basketball. We need more Max Christie and less Dinwiddie/Vincent/Prince. More Max!!! And Rui has to step into the LeBron role more. And Rob let LBJ destroy the team's future by trading away future stars. The Westbrook trade was the worst. Could really have won with KCP and Kuzma.

Yes palinka has done some stupid stuff but during this off season he’s was praised for wat he did. Everyone gave him props saying lakers are title contenders. The problem is Bron the organization has done everything to appease this old player instead of building around AD. Best bet have Bron play pay cut or have him walk. Then go after Siakem George other offseason FA. Trade De Lo get a solid pg. It’s Bron that’s the problem.

The thing about the 2020 championship team is that it was an “accident” the mission was to chase kawhi and if unsuccessful would opt for plan B which was Danny Green Demarcus Cousins etc. and yes getting dwight to replace demarcus was an “accident” too. We have had a season and a half of continuity and that was THIS year.
Lebron year 1 = lonzo, BI, Lebron, hart, Kuz, kcp caruso
Year 2 = AD, Kuz, gasol, schroder, kcp, drummond, montrez caruso
Year 3= AD westbrook and garbage free agents plus austin
Year 4 = AD westbrook pat bev schroder returns austin THEN dlo rui vando etc
Where is the continuity? Rob makes good moves overall in a vacuum but hasn’t commit to a long term team model to surround Lebron and AD with.
Also when frank was here management hired his assistants??? It was the right move ultimately but didn’t signal confidence and stability in who they wanted to head coach the lakers? It’s a MESS
