My mother has Alzheimer’s dementia. She sleeps for 16 to 18 plus. She hates to shower over a month. I’m exhausted. She is deaf or selective at times. She states she does not understand the language. She is contrary to everything. Lately is not eating. She is 86. I have been taking care of Her for 5 years and 6 months. I do the sponge bath. She was bilingual now is native language. However insist on speaking English when people speak in her native language
