I'm definitely on the hate side of this cultural divide. Everything they serve just depresses me. Bad chili, bad pasta, bad cheese, bad everything. It feels like some college kids went on their post-drinking food binge and thought "We oughta make a restaurant menu out of this", not realizing that the food you eat while you're inebriated only tastes good when/because you're inebriated.
I love how people just immediately talk shit on anything that isn’t made/from California, New York or Texas. Apparently people think every plate of food made outside of those states is automatically shit. Lol.
@brian morris Texas BBQ isn't as good as NC? Depends on if you like beef or pork. Nobody does beef BBQ better than Texas. Having said that, it's ALL good; KC, Texas, and the Carolinas all have outstanding BBQ. BTW, West Coast Tri-tip is pretty f'ng awesome too.

here in texas you say Skyline and people look to the sky. It is more like and Ohio/Indiana/Kentucky thing.
But i have been to Cincinnati on my travels and i love the stuff. skyline 3 way. Much better than Gold Star. i always go to kroeger to make sure i have a can in my pantry at all times.
Yeah, I’ve lived in Illinois and Wisconsin my whole life- I’ve never heard of this place. I think it’s more of a regional thing.
Born & bred...CINCINNATI STAND UP 🙌🏽
513 for life baby!!!
So you basically have to be a female model to be an INSIDER host, there goes my hopes and dreams of getting paid to travel and eat
Yeah ITS the looks because she did not say much at all
Someday homie you'll make it
Tbh they’re not that pretty. They just have expressive faces and are somewhat descriptive
If you think she looks like a model you need to raise your standards she has an over bite a horse would be jealous of.
@@thebun2901 shit man I’m stealing that
That would certainly be the last supper kind of meal, the moment it just doesn’t matter anymore.
shits fire i live right behind one, i be eating there all the time and its amazing
Why people in america so extra with cheese? is it cheap there?
We don't put that much cheese on everything but this looks disgusting
The cheese is cold so they can very finely grate it. What you see is a pile of puffed up cheese which is mostly air.
In America they eat plastic cheese so I guess it must be really cheap.
Its government cheese. Lol
France eats the most cheese per capita.
That looks like heaven
Eazy E For an Obese fck like u yes
I live in the Midwest and I’ve noticed that either you love it or hate, there’s no in between.
@@Jayce_Alexander Yeah, it honestly looks terrible.
Even tho I’ve seen this video a thousand times it still gets recommended to me, and I still always watch it😂
Excuse me, I think there is some chili in your cheese
I visited the area and they immediately had me try skyline chili. Brought me a box of mini hot dogs. They’re damn good
As an ohioan i can confirm, we love this stuff
Kinda reminds me of the Cincinnati reds who haven't won a World Series since 1990. Or everyone who lives in Cincinnati for that matter.
It is a travesty that this Chili isn't country wide. Finding this outside of Ohio is like striking a gold mine.
I've struck a "gold mine" finding Skyline Chili in Indiana, Kentucky and Florida (Clearwater area).
I love how people just immediately talk shit on anything that isn’t made/from California, New York or Texas. Apparently people think every plate of food made outside of those states is automatically shit. Lol.
But come one, chocolate chili on spaghetti noonoos?
brian morris fam did u just say New York pizza sucks what are u on lmaoo
Thats because this in particular is shit. Also Midwesterns have a horrible palette.
@brian morris Texas BBQ isn't as good as NC? Depends on if you like beef or pork. Nobody does beef BBQ better than Texas. Having said that, it's ALL good; KC, Texas, and the Carolinas all have outstanding BBQ. BTW, West Coast Tri-tip is pretty f'ng awesome too.
no, just midwestern food
We got the recipe back in the late 60s from a relative of owner. Have made it at home ever since. It's a Cincinnati thing. Glad Kroger carries it here in Virginia frozen and in cans so don't have have to cook up a whole pot at a time.
Could you please share? I can give you my email
Same can you send the receipt
@@dr_tez it's literally just meat sauce and nutmeg
skyline chili is the best
From Cincinnati, love Skyline Chili. While the world is stocking up on toilet paper, we're stocking up on Skyline Chili!
i like Gold Star better
@@christophers5510 lol same, much more of a gold star person to be honest.
I could inhale this stuff. Give it a chance before you knock it
MAMAMAMIDDDD
The people dissing our cincy chili don't know what they're talking about, DON'T BELIEVE THEM.
1:39 Help me
Just like the Red's....MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID
This is the first food video that made me salivate. I love chili and if I’m out that way I’m definitely hitting this spot.
And the reviewer, so pretty, such a lovely smile.
Just be aware that this is actually a Greek meat sauce with middle eastern spice notes like cinnamon, so not like Yankee or Texas chili with their Tex-Mex spices.
I love Skyline. It's awesome
I didn't realize how much I needed Chili in my life until watching this video...
Also: I hope that none of the food they order went to waste!
Skyline, Gold Star, and Dixie Chili. It's all Greek style chili. It's Iron Chef Michael Symon's favorite chili, so all you nerds complaining about it in the comments below can kiss his ass.
My man if we don’t like it we don’t like it. Just because some dude that cooks for a living likes it doesn’t mean we all do too. This kind of chili is bad in my opinion. Chili shouldn’t be a liquid and should not be uniform in color and texture.
Don't even know who that dude is lmao. If it looks like shit it looks like shit man.
@@monke6776 totally agree. It's watery, sweet, and no texture. I like my chili full of chunky beef, peppers, onions, tomatoes, garlic, and several kinds of beans. Not hot dog chili.
Bruh where my cincinatians at cause this shit is the best!!!!
Savannah Ferguson present!
Here!
Savannah Ferguson it's in Southwest Ohio
Savannah Ferguson RIGHGDAMNHERE
i can’t even tell you how much i crave skyline chili when i’m not in Cincinnati. i can’t wait to go back
Next time you're here get one of the Cincinnati postcards with the recipe for the chili on it take it home and you can cook it anytime you want.
How do you like your cheese.
Chredded = reply
Melted = like
I prefer it metled. Idk.
personally i like my cheese chredded
Normally I'd agree, but Skylines cheese is specially made. Lighter and fluffier andin a class of its own. It works not being melted.
