Yes all the rotating mounts have the problem of lens incompatibility. In addition in the ATOL even if the lens fits, the lens release button is partially blocked by the mount. ATOL publishes a lens of lenses that are compatible with the mount on the specific camera.
With the Atoll there’s not much place between the grip and the ring which makes holding the camera not perfect. I think the ideal would be the Atoll with a lplate to enhance the camera grip. The new smallrig has the same pb with the Tamrons with USBC port.
So do you think is S-63 worth it for DJI RS3 and Sigma A 24-70? I'm worried a little bit about this "rebalancing" issue and maybe "not enough frontal weight" with some lenses, but also Sigma A 24-70 is quite heavy tbh. I don't know... can't decide 🥲 help
Mine arrived this week and I was disappointed it didn't work with my Tamron 35-150. That's my main lense but at least my 28-75 and other lenses work with it
@@YawOwusuNyarko Just came in. The Tamron 35-150mm and 28-75mm v2 works with the Atoll S system but its a little harder to change lenses. Link in the description! Hope that helps.
like your content bro! well done! I think sony 50mm GM lens can't work too and if you using this product you can't be able to use standart camera cage benefits.
Using this in RS3 and no way this type of addons will work at leasr out of the box with no extras. The space to the back from the camera to the arm lf the gimbal is small and the camera tilting back its the gimbal. The vertical mount works
This is soooooo dissapointing as a (new) Tamron lens user. I also just sold my old Tamron that would have worked. I'm struggling to find a reason to keep this mount now because the main purpose was to use it on the RS3. Hopefully SmallRig, Ulanzi, and Silence Corner make a version two that will work on all lenses or at least the ones with USB-C ports
@@AOJOPhotography Yeah I took a look but I think it kind of defeats the purpose if you can't really take the lens off. Hard to say but thanks for the two cents!
I don't have that lens so I'm not for sure. The Atoll should work with it. I just got the Atoll and it works with my Tamron 28-75 f2.8 II and 35-150 f2-2.8
I have the Attoll and I think it’s superior to the copies because they make them for MOST camera brands…NOT just for sony like Ulanzi and smallrig! My money will go to the company that doesn’t just cater to one brand!
My Ulanzi S-63 arrived today. The 1st lens I was going to try was going to be the Tamron 35-150. Thanks.

Hi bro, i’m just curious, does it work with sigma 24-70mm f/2.8?
atoll works with it
@@syakirmohdnazri Sure does!
I just posted a couple videos on the Atoll S
Thank you for your HONEST review because you also point out its disadvantages.

Hi, can I use with with smallrig cage attach to my camera body?
do you know if the F38 version is already out? on the ulanzi shop it says "new version", but no information about F38..
Yes I have a video on my shorts and Instagram. I love it!!

Hi , can you move lens from wide to zoom like 24-70 f2.8 on both vertical and horizontal in correct balance on gimbal like DJI rs3 ?
If you change the orientation from horizontal to vertical you need to rebalance to get the best possible stabilization.
Does it work on the rs3 mini as well? Or just rs3 and rs3 pro?
Nice and honest review! Thanks for sharing! Have you tested the Smallrig Rotatable Plate yet?
I have not. I just got sent the Atoll. It also has pro and cons but it works with both of my tamron lenses.
I haven't but I just posted a couple videos on the Atoll S
it also makes me hesitate to buy the product. or we can conclude to take the largest diameter size of the lens. 72 and above
Ouch.. it doesnt work with tamron 35-150mm ... Me sad.
The atoll works with it. Dropping a video shortly
