My brother died in September 2022. 2 months from graduation. The most gentle spirit, kind, loving, funny. It all happened so suddenly, even now I struggle with this reality. This was my ringtone at the time, a few minutes after he passed my sister called and now everytime I hear it, it takes me back to that moment. I have been avoiding playing it since but today for no reason I found myself here. I hope one day I'll smile and not tear up when I come across it.

Right after listening to some of John's gospel, the Holy Spirit started whispering this song in my mind. I started playing it to listen to the song in full and began crying. I started to say to myself "He is everything I need." I look forward to eternity with Him.

My wife passed on Tuesday the 19th. Our 9th anniversary was 2 days later on Thursday the 21st. Her 38th birthday was yesterday the 23rd. I have figured out it was due to internal bleeding from somewhere, but still waiting on the autopsy report. Well a friend of hers posted this in reference to her and I like it. Makes me smile. Her autopsy showed that her Marfans killed her. A heart valve burst from the aorta which is the number 1 cause of death with people who have Marfans. The doctor in the ER would have probably found it if it wasn't for the 15 small kidney stones they found instead which explained the puking and pain.
I'm so sorry for your loss, I pray you find comfort from a Heavenly Father who hears your prayers and sees your tears (as he did for Hezekiah, Isaiah 38) if someone thinks of her when they hear this song then she must have had a incredible relationship with Jesus! I pray you will know more of that for yourself and know that He will be with you as you figure out what life will look like for you. God bless

Thank you. I do know I'll see her again. I am thankful she's no long in any pain too cuz the Marfans caused several other issues and I could see her declining and I had started thinking about how she'd be in the next 10 years or more and it saddened me to be honest. Does it make it easier? I suppose so. I think all the love we have and prayer and my leaning harder than ever on the Trinity is what really is making it a hole lot easier to the point people keep commenting on how surprisingly well I'm doing so early on. I’m going through a rough time but I’m learning to be grateful for my struggles. They are greater blessings than any other God provides. It’s only by struggle that we grow.
