I watched this for fun, knowing I would not make one. Now I need to order this template to make the denim quilt that Natalie showed us! You ladies just make my to do list endless!!😂
Bjr Missouri star je vous adores toutes les trois j’ai appris beaucoup de choses avec vos explications je suis une passionnée de quilt merci merci ❤😊😊 énormément .Fazi de paris
I have LOVE/HATE feelings about these Triple Play videos. I LOVE the ideas! I HATE that now I have 3 more quilts I want to make! I only make one quilt about every other month.
All three quilts are nice but Natalie is just the most creative lady! I always look forward to Triple Play to see what spin she has put on her piece. She has so much talent and I'm grateful she shares it with us!
Ladies, Thank you so very much for your amazing projects! I love love love them! I started teaching a single mom in Feb 2022,, former military, with five children. The three middle children are adopted siblings, ages are .... 18 and she is off to college, 16 yr old amazing young man, 13 yr adorable young man, two cutest young ladies. We have now acquired enough machines for all!!! No sewing experience for any of them!! I am so impressed and thrilled whit what they have accomplishes in 8 months. For the most part, we have been using fabric from my stash!! So thankful it is going to an amazing family. I am almost 73 and have been sewing for 63 years. The family known as the "Sunshine Sewers" would love useing these tools. Great project for next year!! Also .... They bring great joy to my heart.
I did this with scrap denim jeans years ago and used a cd as my template. Then I used scrap fabric cut them into squares to fit inside the circle and sewed them together with a decorative stitch. This is cool and so many ideas!
It’s been two years but this and the half-hexie braid Triple Play are still my favorites. I’m on bedrest recovering from surgery and filling time by rewatching the videos on my ‘must do’ list.
I love watching you ladies so much!!! You not only teach us but you are a pure joy to watch and your happiness and smiles put me in a better mood every single time. Thank you! You are my teachers and therapists all in one. Lol.
Alan, God bless you, for the day that you asked your mom if she would be willing to do tutorials for RUclips!!! Natalie and Misty, I always appreciate seeing your creativity shining through the designs that you create! These Triple Play videos are my favorites to watch! Since you have over 400 employees now, I hope you have recruited a third creative partner, as a sewing buddy, when Jenny and Ron leave for Africa. Which by now, I assume they have.
When I was growing up my brother and sisters were never allowed to just sit and watch tv. In the fall when we got our new school clothes we got to buy supplies to make a project. These projects were meant to be a gift for one of our siblings. My mom and grandmother taught us different crafts. I learned to knit, sew, embroider, quilting and counted cross stitch.
The very first video I watched of Missouri Star Quilt Co. was the quilt using the Magic Circle template many years ago. I wanted the Magic Circle template, but couldn't find it. Today, after watching this tutorial, I ordered the template. I can't wait for it to arrive so I can make this quilt! It's been on my bucket list for years! Thank you Jenny for always making my Friday morning special!
Jenny, when I saw you positioning the black circle, to the red circle that you had just carefully sewn and pressed, did you hear me say, “NO! Jenny don’t do that.” Silly me! Obviously you knew what you were doing! When you folded the two straight edges back on top of themselves, I was so happy for you, that you hadn’t made a mistake, that would require you to have to rip the seam out, before you could continue. Like everyone else watching this demonstration, I finally realized why you sewed a straight seam. What an ingenious design!!! It is as cleaver as can be! Thank you, for sharing such a creative idea with us! I can’t wait to see what comes next, now that I know you didn’t make a mistake.
I have a box of denim squares that would be perfect for this quilt. I have had them for years and didn't know what to do with them. Now I know. Thank you ladies.
So nice to see three different people have their own twists on using this template. You are all knowledgeable and creative in your own ways. Thanks for a delightful video. Take care of that arm.
Great job ladies. Enjoyed watching you all ladies doing great job and thanks to you designer who helped as well. Life in quilting can continue growing for the next generation.
All great quilts. The denim picnic blanket sounds really useful. love it. It's great seeing 3 quilters do the same thing but 3 different ways. Really expands our creative thinking.
I just love this triple play...it has given me a chance to get to know and love Natalie. She has such a wonderful mathematical mind and soooo creative .
Jenny! You just lick your fingers any time you need in quilting. I do too, especially those little 2 1/2 squares that stick together especially when you in the grove and everything is going great. So! forget what people think or say. I am a licker too. Your triple play is FANTASTIC! I will never miss one again. To see the creative collection between the 3 of you is staggering. I learn so much. Thanks for everything. Because of you, I am on my 43rd quilt using Jenny Doan Videos. I love you all so much. No matter how down I get, I just watch one of your videos and it pulls me out of the dumps. Thanks
Natalie I wanted to tell you for the first time I have ever spoken on this sight. The blue Jean idea was awesome and I love love love how you smiled. You could tell you were so incredibly happy and proud with what you had made. I have never seen you that excited over a project but congratulations you really hit it on the dot. Keep up the great work!
I love the triple play cuz of the sweet loving feelings that I sense with you girls. It's like being with my friends and sharing. Right now we all need this cuz we can't be with our local neighbors so you girls are providing what the quilting world needs. Thank you so much.
I guess Im asking randomly but does anybody know of a way to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly lost the password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Roman Zechariah I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
My whole family does aikido & I've saved all of our retired outfits. They are a heavy denim weight, white cotton. I think I need to throw them in some dye & make this quilt using the last technique. We're doing so many outdoor gatherings these days, that would be a great quilt to throw down on the sometimes-damp ground. I just love it when several ideas come together. And Jenny - be careful of yourself! We need you!!!
I always enjoy your video's so much, i lost my son, SPC JAKOB COLE ATON, a year ago and I made my first quilt for him when he was stationed in Kuwait. So quilting and your videos are therapeutic for me. So Thank you and hopefully one day i may be able to visit your shop.
If you tape a tack down, point side up, the correct distance from the pressure foot, the fabric will spin on it as you sew and it will be a perfect circle every time! Love your quilts!
These are terrific project ideas! Natalie's denim idea is a great blooming quilt. I've got some old jeans that are perfect for this. Also, want to say that I've noticed how much more comfortable Natalie has become on camera from her first tutorial several years back. So glad for that because it's been clear to me from the beginning that she's a wonderfully creative and experienced seamstress and quilter. Those traits definitely run in your family! Thank you ladies and please thank your design team (Kim for one) and camera personnel for these wonderful tutorials, triple plays, and Misty's hour (forget its special name!).
Hi Jenny and daughters. So glad you are healing well. I too have thin skin now I'm an old lady and bruise easily too. Enjoy ALL your tutorials. Thanks. Greetings from London
Natalie...the Jean design is great....that is my next project....Jenny’s picnic quilt size...with my red, white and blue theme...so excited. Thank you to all three of you.
I love Jenny Doan because she is so real. I enjoy the fun and creative flow of the videos. You begin to feel like they're your friends. Quilting should be fun and a creative expression. These videos are really refreshing with what's happening right now in our country.
The possibilities are endless for sure. I can see pointsettia flowers in red and green for Christmas. My vote goes to Nat this month for her denim ideas. I must add this to my wish list of needed templates.
WOW! At first I was disappointed that I already cut out a million denim circles to make 2 twin size quilts for my grand daughters for Christmas at, probably, a different size than your circle! Then, I remembered that I WANT the denim to fray, so it's ok. But, I definitely want to try your Circle Magic! Awesome!
Hello Ladies, I just purchased the 2 templates to make these projects. One will be a table runner for sure. One will be a quilt and the other one will be a wall hanging. I just love it when the 3 of you get together to give us a great tutorial. Keep them coming they are getting very popular. Thank you, Louise
Love all of these ideas but Like Natalie I love to upcycle or repurpose denim (and other stuff) so that was my favorite. Also I have the old circle magic template so for now I'd use that. I think that if I carefully snip the outside edges of the circles before joining them it would help the edges fray nicely too, making it a rag style quilt. I also happen to need a sturdy pillow set for an outside chair & bench so thank You Natalie for that idea too. You ladies never fail to inspire me. Thank You :)
Woweee! At first glance I thought, it would be fun to watch, but I wouldn't want to do it.Boy, was I wrong! Now I want to do them all! Thanks, Ladies for your brains and your hands. I have some great new ideas for my collection. I love you all.
Just loved all your little quilts and ideas, they all look like so much fun! Love the interaction between you three girls, warms my heart so much, And hope your arm heals quickly Jenny! all take care and stay safe, and keep the ideas coming, very clever!
I LOVE the quilts you gals created, however, I think I'm going to have to watch this a few times. My brain needs to see every step. I appreciate Natalie's excitement.
During the "frayed look" phase many years ago, I made a denim purse (that I loved) with this method - my hubby made my 3" circle template and I just fused cut squares to the circle (no lines to draw!). Made it large enough for the purse pattern; topstitched the circle flaps down with variegated thread in the serpentine manner like Natalie. I left 2-3 circles in center of one row NOT stitched together or topstitched down to make an outside pocket (think bound buttonhole method); then top stitched flaps. I used an old toothbrush to fray the edges of the sewn circles. Your circle magic template looks easy and practical to use! ~ Sharon
Natalie I love your hair, you are looking great! You and your Mom are so fantastic together - you should have your own show together. It would be awesome 👏 ❤️
Wow! At first I thought “no... that’s to hard” but it actually seems very easy. I bought the template BEFORE I saw the video. I must be onto something here! Great work Ladies!
I made a large blanket with recycled denim and Hawaiian prints with the raw edges. I love “recycling” as well. It’s beautiful. I also made table runners and place mats. Love Love Love.
Thanks for the new ideas. You all compliment each other well. You ask the questions that we would ask in a class, thanks for that. One can tell that you are learning right along with us. :)
My brain is zooming! I can see using Misty's idea, but make the inner part a 4 patch so it looks like a 4 pointed star when it's done. WOW! Oh, and Yay for Natalie!
I know this tutorial is a year old, but I keep coming back to watch it. It's on my list to make and I wonder if I'll ever get to it! I love how much fun ya'll have sewing together and sharing new ideas with everyone!
Natalie I LOVED your idea for just fusing 2 pieces together! And I’m gonna take your idea and make some placemats with holiday fabric...THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! 👍🏻👵🏻💕
Oh ladies! This was so much fun to watch! I have made this previously without your amazing templates. I have already ordered the little one but have to get the big one too! My version was much more challenging because I used warm and natural batting...it was horrible! I love the idea of thinner batting. My antique 1952 Singer named Elvis will love sewing this version much better! Thanks and keep the great ideas coming!!!
I enjoy when three of you come together to showcase three results using one common product. All of the quilts are ‘darling’, as Jenny would say. Thank you ladies for your efforts, it is such a wonderful thing to see and be inspired by you. 🧵 💕
First, Jenny.....I hope you'll continue This Tiple Play Tutorial EVERY THREE weeks is FAST becoming one of my FAVORITE VIDEO TUTORIALS to wait for AND to watch!!! Time to be HONEST here.....At first I really thought Misty's idea for this was the BEST.....but then when Natalie showed hers(???)...well, THAT sold me...hands down!! Natalie's VERY last idea....WOW..... So, sorry Jenny....but the girls ideas were just a teeny bit better! I just love to watch all three of these gals work together.....THIS is what family should be.....it's absolutely apparent that they all get along so great...and have so much fun! I'm always making comments about making a trip to MSQC....and my hubby says "Hmmm....How much you wanna bet that we'd be looking for houses to purchase in or near Hamilton so you could either add to your already HUGE stash of fabric...OR better yet, you'd convince me to more to Hamilton (Quilt Town USA)....so you could either spend some a LOT of time at MSQC's shops OR get a job there...(actually I'd probably just ask to work for FABRIC!!! ) Thanks so much.....it's amazing what you gals did with this idea. You make things so much fun!!
I seriously appreciate the lack of ads on MSQC videos. Thank you Jenny & Co
I wish I could hit the like button a bazillion times! 👏👏👏
This is an ad🤣
@@pietie3 yeah but you don’t have to watch those gross ads about everything else. Don’t be obtuse.
I have LOVE/HATE feelings about these Triple Play videos. I LOVE the ideas! I HATE that now I have 3 more quilts I want to make! I only make one quilt about every other month.
This looks like fun! Also a tip for sewing circles. Shorten your stitch length just a little bit, it helps get the curves to be more smooth.
All three quilts are nice but Natalie is just the most creative lady! I always look forward to Triple Play to see what spin she has put on her piece. She has so much talent and I'm grateful she shares it with us!
Totally agree 😊
Yes! I always love her work the most.

Thank you for posting this, I just think using fabric doubled under the flap is wasteful. So I love reading how you did yours.
Lol.
I loved each one of you three quilts.
I love you three girls.God Bless

I love it when the three of you put your heads together

Nat I always appreciate your out if the box thinking!
You ladies are delightful! Love all three approaches.
Whoa two years ago! I finally found the fabric I wanted. Now I am watching again before I make mine.
Back again with another round of this template. I love this one and done and circle.
I almost didn't watch this video because I saw the circles. I'm glad I watched it! After you sew it together you're done!! Love this.
Omgosh! Jenny i laughed out loud when you described how most sewing machines can sing n dance, etc…!!! You are a hoot! Beautiful work, girls!
Jenny, when I saw you positioning the black circle, to the red circle that you had just carefully sewn and pressed, did you hear me say, “NO! Jenny don’t do that.” Silly me! Obviously you knew what you were doing! 💕💕 I love Natalie’s. I like Natalie’s videos. Lots of info and tips.🥰💕
I have a box of denim squares that would be perfect for this quilt. I have had them for years and didn't know what to do with them. Now I know. Thank you ladies.
I appreciate how much you improved the original Circle Magic template.
So nice to see three different people have their own twists on using this template. You are all knowledgeable and creative in your own ways. Thanks for a delightful video. Take care of that arm.
Wow Natalie's would be an awesome scrap project to use them up! Great job ladies!
Great job ladies. Enjoyed watching you all ladies doing great job and thanks to you designer who helped as well. Life in quilting can continue growing for the next generation.
I had amazing time watching you guys with beautiful 3 patterns .you are beautiful teams 🌷don’t know what to pick
Loved all the projects, but Natalie's denim no-flip raw edge idea is way great! Great style!
It's like a cross between a cathedral window and a rag quilt! Genius!
I love to watch you three ladies together , you are all so wonderful !! Great personalities!♥️♥️♥️ Everyone of your quilts are GEORGEOUS!!! 😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩
You all are great. But I just absolutely love Natalie's creativity and spunk!
All great quilts. The denim picnic blanket sounds really useful. love it. It's great seeing 3 quilters do the same thing but 3 different ways. Really expands our creative thinking.
You ladies are just too much😍. Natalie is really expressing herself and talking more😮
she is coming out of her camera shyness , I just love her , Way to go Natalie !
I just love this triple play...it has given me a chance to get to know and love Natalie. She has such a wonderful mathematical mind and soooo creative .
P
Oh my gosh, I have watched several with Natalie. She needs to have her own brand within MSQC. What talent!
Natalie you are so creative. Thank you for sharing the rag quilt idea, I love it.
What a cute quilt. Love watching all three of you. Love Natalie’s haircut. Jenny, hope you heal soon.
Thank you for this tutorial. I have this template and had no idea what to do with it. I have collected jeans from all my family members.
Omg Jenny! #1 I hope you feel better soon. I'm sure I'm not the only one that wants you to lasts us a very long time yet
Jenny! You just lick your fingers any time you need in quilting. I do too, especially those little 2 1/2 squares that stick together especially when you in the grove and everything is going great. No matter how down I get, I just watch one of your videos and it pulls me out of the dumps. Thanks
Cool projects! I never would have considered trying that pattern until I saw this video. It looks so complicated! Thanks for the ideas!
Wow these quilts are all so cute. Thank you lady’s.
Yes, I agree. She lit up. Wow. She’s so beautiful in body and soul.
Natalie is just amazing; she’s always thinking outside the box!!!!
I now know how I am going to make my new denim comforter! Thank you! Love Circle Magic!
@Terrance Finn instablaster ;)
@Roman Zechariah I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now.
Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Roman Zechariah It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. Im so happy:D
Thanks so much you saved my account!
@Terrance Finn You are welcome =)
Thank you for being my friends and spending time with me!! ;-) I am loving getting to know Natalie and Misty.
If you tape a tack down, point side up, the correct distance from the pressure foot, the fabric will spin on it as you sew and it will be a perfect circle every time! Love your quilts!
Sorry! I should have also said to poke the tack into the center of the square before sewing so it spins on the tack.
I made a Jean one for a friend using her daughter who passed away clothes for a memorial quilt. It came out beautiful!
That's a great idea!
It’s Missouri Star day: ❤️❤️❤️ The Triple Play. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Natalie, sweetie! I love the way your mind works! Awesome ideas!
So glad to see you all back together on screen!
I love Jenny Doan because she is so real. I enjoy the fun and creative flow of the videos. You begin to feel like they're your friends. Quilting should be fun and a creative expression. These videos are really refreshing with what's happening right now in our country.
Oh my gosh, Girls! These are fantastic. So cute, love all the designs. 💖💜💗👏👍. Thank you so much, Chris-Raleigh NC
Great ideas and beautiful quilts!!!
LOVE LOVE the Gnome !!!!!!!!! Great jobs y'all . xoxo Have a blessed weekend.
Once again Natalie outshines! I'm telling ya that girl is a genius!
Hi from Franklin, Tennessee. I love watching your triple play videos with such cute ideas. You girls are so inspiring!
The possibilities are endless for sure. I can see pointsettia flowers in red and green for Christmas. My vote goes to Nat this month for her denim ideas. I must add this to my wish list of needed templates.

I love the projects. Natilee I love your hair cut. So many ideas. My head is spinning.
You three are perfect together. Thanks for great ideas. Natalie is a natural just like her mother.
You all are so darned cute - thanks for the fun tutorial. Now to dig out all those denim squares I've been hanging on to for so many years.
I pressed before turning and that helped a lot. It didn’t take any extra time compared to time to poke out after turning. 😊
I love, Love, LOVE your triple play tutorials. Thank you.
Hello Ladies, I just purchased the 2 templates to make these projects. One will be a table runner for sure. One will be a quilt and the other one will be a wall hanging. 😂😂😂 ohhh bungee jumping!! Im glad our Jenny is ok! Hey yall thanks! This is so fun...i love the circles!
I LOVE the quilts you gals created, however, I think I'm going to have to watch this a few times. My brain needs to see every step. I appreciate Natalie's excitement.
Great job ladies!! Natalie!! Your idea with denim was fantastic!! Such a great way to recycle!!

I love this tutorial. I've watched it 5 times . You 3 are great. I've learned so much watching your videos. Thank you.
Great tutorial. Loved Natalies denim quilt!
My brain is zooming! I can see using Misty's idea, but make the inner part a 4 patch so it looks like a 4 pointed star when it's done. WOW! Oh, and Yay for Natalie!
That's a great idea!
Fabulous tutorial ladies! So many idea seeds planted in my brain... thanks!!
I know this tutorial is a year old, but I keep coming back to watch it. It's on my list to make and I wonder if I'll ever get to it! I love how much fun ya'll have sewing together and sharing new ideas with everyone!
Love Natalie's denim idea. See a new bag in my future. Thanks so much for all you do ☺️👍☺️
Natalie I LOVED your idea for just fusing 2 pieces together! And I’m gonna take your idea and make some placemats with holiday fabric...THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! 👍🏻👵🏻💕
What a fun group of projects! Can’t wait to try one !

So, sorry Jenny....but the girls ideas were just a teeny bit better!
I just love to watch all three of these gals work together.....THIS is what family should be.....it's absolutely apparent that they all get along so great...and have so much fun!
I'm always making comments about making a trip to MSQC....and my hubby says "Hmmm....How much you wanna bet that we'd be looking for houses to purchase in or near Hamilton so you could either add to your already HUGE stash of fabric...OR better yet, you'd convince me to more to Hamilton (Quilt Town USA)....so you could either spend some a LOT of time at MSQC's shops OR get a job there...(actually I'd probably just ask to work for FABRIC!!! )
Thanks so much.....it's amazing what you gals did with this idea. You make things so much fun!!
Me too I Love it , Jenny said it right we get to see how different brains work and great tips to boot !
