Great work. I like how the top part of the shield got destroy. A destroyable shield give of a feeling that the Gundam is defeatable when you can dish out a good blow.
When the Gundam jump and do an emergency stop(0:51), the flame of the verniers from his backpack and feet will lid right? I assume you haven't add it yet just as you haven't add the flame from the vulcans.
I just notice how Guncanon use his left hand grabbing the barrel of his rifle. Maybe you could use how the 2001 MG Guncanon box art holding his rifle as reference. But its not that a big deal.

すげー！スパーブジョブ！グッジョブ！CGIマスターしてる仲間や人間キャラ作ってリグってアニメートできる仲間集めてファーストガンダム全話台詞無しで良いんでリメイクしておくれ！富野や著作権保持者達はどうもリメイクしちゃうとあの作画崩壊テレビアニメの動画が売れなくなって金が入って来なくなってくるのが嫌らしい。。。笑
This is beautiful I'm almost tearing up watching this especially the part where it showing the inner part of the vulcan canon, thank you for making this absolute masterpiece even though it still in work in progress.

did you use Rayfiretool for explosions and smoke simulation,or just 3dmax particle emitters
I use tyFlow and smoke simulation.
This definitely an excellent real mecha scene, the Gundam is not overpowered, instead it's been overwhelmed by zeon forces by number. Their movement is relatively slow because of gravity and their height. Really looking forward for this fan movie!

That interior shot of the Gundam's vulcans was pretty spicy.
No muzzle flash on them though...

これぞ初期のアムロが「わーっ！」と叫んで突っ込んで、ガンダムの性能に頼っていた頃の感じですね。
こうすると中盤からの鬼神の如き反応を見せる演出と変化が出て、さらに見栄えしそうです。👍
