Every time we go in for a slice, we ALWAYS comment how these guys seem to truly LOVE their jobs. They’re kind, they’re creative, they listen to great music, and they make some delicious freaking food!
I love that Bademos finally took that spot in dormont and the government center took the spot next to it. I don't even remember what was there before those two.
I do. Badamo's took over Campiti's Pizza. The Government Center's "Outpost" is already gone in less than a year. The South Hills unfortunately isn't in the market for new vinyl, although its denizens will occasionally shop for used records at Vinyl Remains (Mt Lebanon). However, the main Government Center record store in the North Side is great and highly recommended, both as a shop and a venue for independent music concerts. Pizza maker Tony Badamo will talk up Government Center if you ask him about it.
I hate to say who had the best when there are so many but this is probably as good as it gets and its amazing!! I hit up the one on Federal a couple times a week and love the location in Dormont. Everyone i know love's the pizza abd i tell everybody about it. The squares are my usual but the thin slices are amazing. They have everything for everyone. The salads and pepperoni rolls and garlic knots are amazing.. i think they need a few more but then again I'm not the owner.. ANTHONY IS A COOL AND VERY GOOD GUY , FROM WHAT I KNOW HE TREATS EVERYONE GREAT AND ALL THE STAFF I KNOW SAY HE'S A WONDERFUL PERSON TO WORK FOR.. LOVE This Place still think they need one in East Lib and Oakland.. Everyone talks Fiori's and Calientes is affiliated with the sports teams but they are missing out by not having Badamos at PNC and Heinz Field.
The Northside location is a true neighborhood gem - the staff is excellent, and the pizza is very consistent. Square or round, you can't go wrong. I've had pizza in NYC, Manhattan, the Bronx, Long Island... Badamo's is doing it right!
They pick their nose boogers and don't wash their hands, and when they go to the bathroom and tinkle or do a number 2 they don't wash their hands either.
Is this part of a new show from Rick?
👀
Rick sebak for President!!! Pittsburgh national treasure!

I think pittsburgh needs a pizza special!
I could listen to Rick Senak narrate the freaking rain. Love his voice. Been listening to it for decades. Oh, beautiful pizza, too! 😊
THANK YOU RICK!!!!
Thanks for sharing! I will Def check badamos out next time I'm in town.
Their pizza is amazing. Their sandwiches are even better. Thanks for the reminder - walking there for lunch tomorrow.
Sicilian @ badamos is a top tier slice anywhere

I go to Badamo's in Dormont. My fave is 2 slices with whipped ricotta & sliced red onion😋
Good choice! Ricotta is magical :)
@@JMILESN1 I also love it for breakfast with a handful of fresh blueberries, chopped walnuts & some fresh grated lemon zest..so good..and healthy😋
Best in the Burgh! I didn't know they moved or opened a shop in the North Side. I'll have to visit both soon!
Best thing about the move to dormont is more parking
Moved to California. There’s no pizza here that comes even close to Badamos.
Holy shit Ian from Io?

There’s better pizza in LA.

Which genius composed this music 😉
The closest to a NY slice you will find in Pittsburgh; my only gripe is I wish they used fresh mushrooms over canned. Good pie!
Are they in the old NY Hot dog shop space?

Northside isn't the North hills!
@@Mr.Death101 You're totally right, I meant to say Northside - just made an edit!
