    je suis heureux d'avoir trouvé cette chaîne! ayant eu mon permis privé et instrument en Angleterre (sous JAA - il n'y avait même pas de Brexit en tête à l'époch) il y a plusieurs années (maintenant expirés, par contre ... cout trop cher!!), ça fait quelques années que je suis les enregistrements de "Kennedy Steve", et c'est vraiment la première fois que je peux envisager vraiment la géographie de l'aéroport JFK avec tous les taxiway complexes !! (J'ai la charte de l'aéroport, mais sans vraiment voir en vidéo, la charte n'ajoute pas vraiment à l'expérience).

    I've been waiting for this video but unfortunately the wind was blowing the wrong way.
    When you land on runway 4 you go right over my neighborhood just as you make the right turn over the NJ beach.

Du beau travail, à la fois le vol mais aussi le montage... en plus ça prend du temps... juste une petite observation: est ce que vous pourriez mettre en incrustations de temps en temps le Pfd? Je suppose que ça demande une caméra de plus, mais pour les pilotes, avoir les paramètres est interressant, tout comme les cartes ... bon, je chipote !!! A bientôt ✈✈😉😉

      Thanks 🙏 this is an Auto throttle disconnect alarm, it appears when we reduce throttles while the aircraft is also reducing.

      Yes correct, the scales and the index are less visibles in VNAV than in FLCH

      I just found it interesting that once the pilot enabled FLCH SPD (1:40 ) it came alive on the PFD.

    Question : j'ai remarqué dans plusieurs vidéos que vous disconnect le PA lorsque vous arrivez au glide. Il y a t'il une politique précise du dernier moment où couper le PA et prendre les commandes ? Ou bien c'est selon ?

      Merci beaucoup ! Non il n'y a pas de consignes particulières, seulement s'assurer que l'ensemble de l'équipage est suffisamment en forme pour couper les automatismes sachant que de toutes façons, hors approche automatique, il faudra les couper avant la DA ou la MDA ! On préfère les couper plus tôt d'une part pour piloter mais aussi pour se familiariser un peu avant les dernières secondes qui séparent la MDA du toucher des roues.

    I heard the ATC say "reduce to 180". Correct me if I am wrong, but they should avoid using the word "to" in order not to result in confusion with the number "2".

      FLCH stands for Flight Level Change. It's a way to tell the aircraft to go from one altitude to another one.
