I have both. They are buddies. My cockatiel was a rescue. He didnt even know how to clean his feathers. Then I brought in the budgie. She taught him how to be a bird. 🙏❤ Now they are both happy!
I had a cockatiel live until it was 21 Years old and that certainly can be a consideration in choosing a pet. Also, I would make sure to have an avian vet in your area that you can bring your bird.
I remember I used to watch your videos a few years back, and I decided to search it up again and I was surprised to see how much your channel grew! Great work!
I have both a Cockatiel and a Budgie, both bought from Pet Shops. My Cockatiel is scared of everything, has never liked hands, and although he talks it's not really clear, but he loves company and sings the Adams Family really well. In fact, he'll sing a bit of it then wait for me to sing the next bit and then when I stop he'll carry on, he knows the tune so well! My Budgie on the other hand, is very, very tame, climbs all over me, loves to snuggle, share food etc and knows an incredible amount of words and phrases that are very clearly said. I love both my birds so much I don't go on holiday. Holidays will have to wait!
I adopted 2 older cockatiels from a shelter almost 1 year ago. They don't let me handle them, but they do interact with me everyday. I named them Luther and Teddy because they sing. Their calls are different, one high and the other low and they love music.
Do you only have one? It would be better to get at least two cause budgies need a partner of their own kind. Otherwise they will get very unhappy and will show behavioural issues like plucking their feathers. It could be that your budgie is trying to replace another budgie with you. Please consider this.
Looking to get a cockatiel. We had one when I was a kid, and he would whistle Bridge on the River Kwai and the theme song to the Andy Griffith Show and a few other things my mom taught him. And we had cats and he would meow like the cats. Boy was he loud!! But yeah, I’d love another one.
Exactly true. Jeremy my hand raised cockatiel loves to be around humans and not at all afraid of us. But CLARITY ,my seven months old store bought cockatiel likes to be by herself. And I feel after Jeremy and Clarity started being friends, Jeremy avoids human company. He is not afraid of us . But prefers the other cockatiels company. It's normal though for a bird to prefer the company of another bird. But I must see how they will both grow up in the long run.
I got a Semi Tamed bird from a bird store, which means he wasn't afraid of humans that much. He loves to sit on my shoulder, though he is not familiar with the commands such as up, sit, and such. So I am beginning to train him slowly.
I live in Holland, hand raising birds is illegal here. Yet i do really want a cuddle buddy. I hope that my future bird will be alle to get there with enough time and love
I’m getting a cockatiel and your videos are so helpful!! I have a question...Can I have a single one or do I need to buy a pair of cockatiels for them to be more comfortable?
I got my cockatiel Pikachu 3 days ago. He bonded with me in only five hours and he was finger tamed from a breeder at parrot connection . He also loves cuddles and always wants my attention.
I've been thinking about getting a cockatiel or a lovebird. I've never owned a bird before but I've always wanted one and have been doing extensive research to make sure I know what I'm getting into. However, I'm worried about having a cockatiel because I have serious pet allergies and I think their dander is more than likely to trigger it. On the other hand I hear that lovebirds are not good starter birds and are loud and nippy. I'd really like a bird with a similar temperament to the cockatiel, but without all that feather dander. I'm really bummed about having allergies because the cockatiel sounds perfect for my lifestyle.
My cockatiel would shower with me at first lol. She'd sit on my head or on a perch I made in the bathroom (I live in a hot country so the water temp was room temperature). That kept the dander down. Then she learnt to bathe herself and it's no longer an issue. I have pet allergies and asthma - but it hasn't been an issue. Just keep the cage clean. My cockatiel came into my life by accident, I never saw myself as a bird owner, I got the second as a companion bird. Best decision I ever made. These birds give you so much love, they are like winged puppies. Couldn't imagine life without my feathered children.
@@chrisstorer5224 That sounds like a wonderful bond you have with your birds, and cockatiels really do seem sweet. I ended up getting the lovebird and I'm actually really happy with my decision. He's the sweetest, most affectionate thing ever and he's so stinking cute! He was a little nippy when he went through his first molt, but once that was over he went back to being his sweet self. Definitely no regrets, but thanks for the tip! If I get another bird in the future it'll probably be a cockatiel.
I noticed some comments about the long lifespan. The longer lifespan is one of the reasons I'm considering getting pet bird(s). My dog is turning 15 soon and I would love to have a social companion animal that could hang around a bit longer.. I live in a house now so we have some extra rooms and the option to build an aviary in our yard. I've had all kinds of smaller pets but I've never had a bird. I think living with an intelligent screaming poop machine would be fun.
im get a budgie for my birthday and i want it to be affectionate but i can only get it from my local pet store because my parents dont wanna drive an hour for a bird and im really sad because of it but im still grateful for still getting a bird
When I got my first bird, I bought a Cockatiel. I had a neighbor who worked for a veterinarian and she recommended a reputable breeder of Cockatiels. They were hand raised. Spike was a very sweet bird. She was a normal colored Cockatiel. After the first molt I knew for sure she was female because her tail feathers retained the barred markings on the underside. Had the tail feathers come back plain with no barred markings on the underside Spike would have been a male. I know that other color mutations of Cockatiels make it harder to know if your bird is male or female.
Do have any experience with the product "Flight Suit" to manage the bird droppings? Your birds have leg bands: the reason? Who put the bands on the birds?
George Mohr - We considered flight suits when we bought pearl, but then decided to just let her be natural and to clean up the poop. It's a pain, but we're used to it. The leg bands are ID bands the birds came with. 😊
I have 2 cockatiels. One came into my life by accident. Super affectionate and friendly ... but definitely needed a companion while I was at work. The second cockatiel I bought as a hand-raised. About 4 months old. A bit shyer than Bertie, and unfortunately had his wings clipped, so can't keep up with Bertie's flying. Both are super affectionate and calm. Although, Bertie is very excitable and demands attention. They keep each other company and don't really make much noise. Both love sitting on my shoulder and getting cuddles and head scratches. The only downside is when Bertie lands on my head it's a bit prickly. To be honest the mess isn't too much, as long as you keep on top of it. Never though of myself as a bird person. But these two have stolen my heart and give so much love I wouldn't trade them for the world. Personal opinion: don't trim their wings. I feel so bad for Reggie when he tries to fly. Bertie can navigate around the apartment, but it's usually to look for me, not to escape. Oh and make sure they bathe ... cockatiels have a lot of bird dust!
I have 6 birds, 3 cockatiels (all males) & 3 budgies (2 male & 1 male). All but 2 of the birds are bought from pet shops,1 cockatiel is from a breeder & the female budgie was given to me as it hadn't had a good start to life & had some health issues & is now okay!
If you live in Cali, the best bird store I have ever went to is Omar's Exotic Birds. Which is where I will get MY cockatiel! In photos, it looks really cool, and it is, but when you get to the store, it is still cool but just without all the birds playing and eating and interacting with humans. Cause of COVID and stuff.
Hello!!! I love your channel so so much!!! I have a question though...I don't know if I should get a budgie or cockatiel... I don't go to school (remote learning) but I do play lots of sports....what would be better for my lifestyle??? I would have about 5 hours a day to spend with the birb. I REALLY LOVE COCKATIELS I just don't know if 5 hours a day will be enough time...what do you recommend??
Cockatiels live for 15-20 years so it's a long term commitment and they are very friendly birds and can get extremely needy and attached to you so I would suggest a budgie. I had two cockatiels but they became so attached to me and demanded attention 24x7.
I had budgies when I was a kid but they stayed in their cages (in my country no one had tamed budgies, and no internet 20+ years ago). But now I have my cockatiel and I can't imagine a better bird. He's so cuddly. He wasn't hand raised but the breeder had constant contact with the babies, so he came home (at 3-4 months old) very tame. The only problem we have is that he has his moods and when we don't let him do something he wants to do (like attack my dog for example) he bites us lol
@@IceShadow47 Brasil, actually. Budgies were common, but it was not common at all to take them all of the cages. Amazon parrots are pretty common too (as you can imagine) and those were kept cage-free
Im getting 2 cockatiels and im wondering if i should get 1 male and 1 female or both male because im getting for sure 1 male so which one would you recommend??
Hi. I think that you bought your birds a little bit overprised at least at my county's standars. For example here I bought my albino hand tamed cockatiel(rare bird) for 70€ wich is not even 80 dollars.
I got two cocktails when I was a teenager, they came from my sister who bird hatched the eggs. She let mom feed them but held them everyday and they were tame.
I just rescued a Lovebird I've had her for about a week. She is very scared 😔 She is 7 months old, was hand fed by the store she was purchased from and her wings are clipped. I like that her wings are clipped right now until she gets used to me. The previous owners had her for a month and never did anything with her accept feed her and give her water. I don't think she received veggies either she was on a rainbow food diet. I went to a mom and pop bird shop that has been around for 21 years and I put her in the house blend and a little bit of fruit mix. I also give her chooped up veggies daily. Got her a cuddle bone, appropriate sized toys, a couple more perches, a ladder, 2 food bowls as they fed her on a plate. I let her out of her cage a couple times a day and she is getting adventures. 😊 Do you have any recommendations?
I have both.. 4 budgies got from a pet store.. it's been like 2 months they have been with us.. they r really scared of hands still.. and i have a pied cockatiel.. i got him / her when he was like 14 days old.. i had handfed him since then.. and he's really the sweetest bird i had ever had.. he's pretty loud and a bit destructive to cables.. N my worst experience was with an Indian ringneck.. which was the 1st bird i got...🙂💔
Anshika Singh - Do you mean in the same cage? That's actually not a good idea because even if they get along outside the cages, they can become territorial over their space. And if they fight, the budgie could get seriously hurt (and would have no way to escape.) We have our two cages standing next to each other though, so the birds can always see and "talk" to each other, even when they're locked up. 😊
@@KevinandKrista no I don't mean in a same cage I meant that can they talk to each other and be each other's buddy even if I am out in school so they can not get bored 😉🙂
Right now I have a cockatoo, budgie, mynah, and zebra finches. I started with cockatiels and I used to breed them and English budgies. I love budgies they are clowns and such high energy birds. Puck the one I have now is hand raised. I have found that every hand raised budgie I have had are loving but not Velcro birds like cockatiels and their cousins the Cockatoos. I after being heavily involved in bird rescue I encourage not to buy budgies from pet stores. They are no different than puppy mills. These bird mills raise them in small metal cages with no toys. Or in big aviaries. They don't care if there is in breeding. I have been called out to help with situations like this and it's horrible. You can find hobby breeders who don't hand raise and get a budgie for about 25. The one thing anyone should consider before getting a cockatiel is their feather dust. They are up there as one of the worst birds for causing allergies. If you have any compromised lung issues like asthma they are a bad choice. Budgies are much better.
Hey! I have a budgie. He is one and a half year old, and I wonder if its too late to get a cockatiel for him? Do your birds get along? Do cockatiels and budgies normally go along? How is it to tame an aduldt cocatiel from a pet store? Edit: Some more questions, 😂 How can you tell if a cockatiel is boy or girl? Can a boy budgie be friends with a boy cockatiel? Thanks for really great content!?😃
I don’t know what type of bird I want but I kind of want to cockatiels because I hear that they’re a little more like attached but but you can do that too so I’m not really sure
Hi my name is Melanie and I got a hand raised Cocktail and when I got my Cocktail he was DNA tested already so I know what I was getting from the person I bought my baby cocktail from and it turns out that my baby cocktail is a boy and is name is Merlin and he's 2 months old and I just love him so much and I'm very glad that I got him thank you for your videos I love them and your birds Melanie Tehachapi ca.
I have two cockatiels (both from pet store) i hand tamed them but presently i am having some trouble with there poop. They usually sit on my shoulders(while i am on my bed) and they poop. How can i handle this. What should i do
I think you should look into ALL species of parrots from lovebirds to macaws and spend time with them and research a lot and get the kind of parrot you want. My first bird was a quaker parrot (a medium sized bird) and she worked perfectly *for me*
I'm considering between a cockatiel or budgie. I've had 2 cockatiels in the past, one was not hand tamed (had them when I was very young) and the other loved to sit in my lap and just get cuddles and kisses, her name was Chewie. Unfortunately my family sold her when I was out of town and I didn't know until I returned. Either way, I'd like a bird that is affectionate but I'm not sure if I should keep to a familiar species (cockatiel) or adopt a budgie. How different do you think they would be?
Hello! this AWESOME! I’m hopping to get a female cockatiel (because there less loud) I have been saving up for a year, do you have any tips about cockatiels? I hear that there dusty and love to sing, but I would like some tips of food and other things, if you can make a video or replay that will be help full! ❤️👌😁 thanks any way!
Hello!I’m thinking of getting a cockatiel,I have 2 budgies now.I was just wondering if you think the cockatiel would fight or harm the budgies?Love this video btw!!🥺
@@samiraharif6488 I had two cockatiels. They are very docile and sweet birds. The only downside is they are extremely needy and want attention all the time.
Hello, I really need your help,my cocktail poked his eye with his nails, his nails were very long and his eye is bleeding alot and I don't know what to do I tried to clean the blood from his eye with a Q tip but it didn't work, and now he can't open his eye at all He is only 4/5 months old and I feel bad for him 😫
Hello again ! Just wanted to say that my bird just died today's afternoon and no not because of his eye I literally don't know how and why, I came to get him out of the cage to play with him after I finished my classes on zoom and found him struggling with breathing so I video called the vet and he told me that there is nothing we can do he is dying and after 2 minutes he actually did😣😣😣
With my lil guys, I find my budgie Cookie bites harder than my cockatiel Gilbee. XD I've also had a female budgie named Jaki & she bit me so hard, she broke the skin. XD The most I've ever gotten from Gilbee is a peck & that felt more like he banged hsi beak on my fingers than a bite. XD And he only does that when he's got pin feathers around his head & wants skritches, but they hurt sometimes, no matter how gentle I am, cuz pin feathers. XD I actually got them both from the same pet store. It's a place that specializes in birds (that's all they have) & both were supposed to be hand tamed. Gilbee took to me right away & LOVES to sit on my shoulder. Cookie, however is afraid of hands & I wonder if that's cuz he was in a large glass sided bin with a ton of other budgies. XD He's got a flight cage with plenty of toys & doesn't come out as he tended to freak out whenever he had "escaped" while cleaning his cage & I think he's safer in there. Poor baby hit the wall last time he got out & went for a fly around the house. XD He was okay, in fact he wasn't stunned; he just fell in a place that made it easy to catch him. :D Both of my birds are in the den & they can see & hear each other & they love nature shows! :D tldr version: Gilbee', my 'tiel, is my cuddle bug who comes out & sits with me, while Cookie, my budgie, is happy in his cage. Also saw a comment about asthma & allergies & birds; just wanted to say I have bad asthma & an allergy to birds, yet I never had any issues with them. That said, check with your allergist & think about getting a bird like finches or a canary that while a companion animal, it stays in its cage. And with all the masks around wear one to clean out the cage. :D
I got my cockatiels from a pet store both raised by birds but one of them loves people and acts as if she was hand raised and my other cockatiel is like pillow he's not scared of peoplw but he doesn't ask for atentiom he just kinda likes being around my other bird
Hello i have 2 budgie and 3 cockatiels,my cockatiels hate being touched because their previous owner mistreated or treated them badly they have clipped wings and only one of them grew back again they only let themselves be helped when they fall out of the cage, they have been with me for 6 months and I have seen a bit of change in them they no longer itch as before they itched me and they did not let me go until I bled, I took them because I saw them so mistreated and with great fear, can someone please could give me advice to be able to gain their trust and let them be touch .🙏
Ash grew his feathers again and now he can fly he never abandons the other's he loves to fly but hates that when people get too close to him. "crazy" has changed at the beginning she attacks everything that she had in front of her, now she is calmer she is always away, she does not like to be touched only when she needs help, her wings are growing again. Alex can't fly, he has a bad wing and his wings are cut off. I think he's trying to learn how to fly but he always fall off. He's the only one that comes close to me when i talking to him but he won't let himself be caressed...
I've had both and from my experience I enjoyed the small budgies most. The cockatiel was great but the budgie had way more personality. Budgies are -- mischievous, for lack of better word. The budgie would harass the cockatiel way more. If they were out together that budgie would, relentlessly tease the cockatiel. And no matter where the cockatiel flew to get away the budgie would follow. I would have to separate them to give the cockatiel a break. Once I separated them the budgie's attention would turn to me or any other human in the room. They will dance, chatter and kiss you like crazy. It was so funny to watch. Our budgie was so attached to all of us, that she would get so excited she would actually spit up food to try and feed us just as she would have done for a baby bird. If you leave baby with their mother, the mother will continue to feed the baby years after the baby is born. So, our budgie considered us her babies and she would try to feed us. She was especially attached to my husband, then boyfriend. Every time he came over she would harass him the way she harassed the cockatiel. She would dance and chatter and travel all over him. If he tried to eat she would try to get on his plate or on his shoulder to peck at the fork of food as he tried to eat. And God forbid if he shooed her away. That got her even more excited. It was insane. My mother wore glasses and if the budgie was out with my mother, she would sit on the arm of the eye glasses while my mother was wearing them; then chatter and sing to my mother. I had an Aunt that did not like birds and I swear the budgie knew it. When that Aunt would come over, the budgie would sit up on the curtain rod and get so quiet we would forget she was up there. Then once my mother and Aunt got deep into conversation the budgie would dive down from the curtain and skim over my Aunt's head in a fly by pass, making my Aunt scream, arms flaying. The budgie would get back up on the curtain rod and just squawk and chatter, bobbing her head like she was laughing. And she only did that to that Aunt. It was crazy. This budgie also loved to bathe to the point that if you sat with a glass of water she would dive down on you and into the glass spalshing water everywhere. If my mother was washing dishes (no dishwasher back then) and the budgie was on her eye glasses, as usual, she would either dive into the dishwater or into the empty side of the sink and get under the water spigot. Budgies are extremely hyper and they love playing with toys. They will carry small toys all over the house as they play and the will get very radical with the toys. Mine liked those little balls that look like cages -- you can see through them -- with a small bell inside. She would pick up one of those and literally throw it then chase after it and throw it again chattering and dancing the whole time. Needless to say, the budgie was quite entertaining and demanded your attention. I am sure not all of them are this way, but I hit on a good one. She was store bought, but never showed fear of us from day one, she bonded extremely quickly with us and so charismatic. The Cockatiel lived for about 20 years and the budgie lived for about 8 years -- which is a pretty good average. I kept other budgies over the years and each one had a different personality and each was so entertaining. I don't keep birds now, because I am old and do not have the time to care for them.
I bought a six-week-old cockatiel from a hand-fed breeder thought that was a boy turns out Timmy's a girl Timmy a very loving bird Timmy is now four and a half months old love my birdie
Early in getting both I did a lot of research I also know how u xan teach your birds tricks Yall already know the step up trick My command is swag but its known as eagle wings When your birds wings go up say your command say wings keep saying your command until they understand u and put uo there wings This trick is called flip Put your bird on a perch and use millet to get them used to being upside down soon u will be able to make them flip Now getting your bird to fly to your hand Just like the step up trick use millet to let them on your hand keep going farther and farther away from your bird then say come if he or she goes to your finger u have taught your bird the trick if not keep trying
If I get a budgie with mostly and and blue splashes everywhere I'm a name at Berry. If I get a full yellow. red checks cockatiel I am going to name it lemon.
if you want to know pearls gender look under his/her wings and tail after the first moult and the tail will have stripes and the wings will have dots if pearls a girl and the males will just be plain
Jesse Rychlik - Don't give up! If you have more than one they've probably bonded to each other, so it'll take a little more time for them to get comfortable around you. Good luck!
I have a cockatiel and my family has had her for over 10 years now and she won’t let anyone touch or pet her because she has suffered with trauma in her past so she is afraid of hands and fingers, I don’t know what to do and I just want to get closer to her and to pet her for once😢😢💔
I have the same problem with my rescue Cockatiel. He won't let me touch him either. So what I started doing was holding a piece of millet on my hand to hand feed him for a few minutes every day. He doesn't eat human food, otherwise I would give him lettuce or fruit to come to me. I have been doing it for a few months now. Everyday gets better. Now I can touch the top of his head for a split second before he runs away! I know how you feel.

You should get a budgie then
This is really the best bird channel 👍😊
Anshika Singh - Thank you! ❤️
I think living with an intelligent screaming poop machine would be fun.
nice video. team budgie here (but adore them all!)💕
I have both lol my budges arnet tamed they are a mating pair sitting on 5 eggs. My cockatiel is hand raised tho and I love him.
Also loving your guys content!!

qwq I forgot to by a hand raised budgie, but my blue budgie can stand on my hand
Do you know the the breeder of the cocktail bird? Thanks
I truly don't remember. That was back in 1993 or 94.
I’m getting a cockatiel❤❤❤
Love your videos, you are so sweet and informative! Thank you!!
Shauna Kay - Thanks! And thanks for watching! ❤️
I’d love advice on where to find a hand raised cockatiel.
Craigslist jk
I loved this video, thanks so much for making my day, you are amazing!! Stay safe in this crazy world.
It sure is a crazy world

Where I live my building manager only allows me to have 2 birds 🐦 at a time I have 2 keets chipper and Chico and I’m blessed with love from them both
Sweet name 🙃
I had budgies when I was a kid but they stayed in their cages (in my country no one had tamed budgies, and no internet 20+ years ago). But now I have my cockatiel and I can't imagine a better bird. He's so cuddly. He wasn't hand raised but the breeder had constant contact with the babies, so he came home (at 3-4 months old) very tame. The only problem we have is that he has his moods and when we don't let him do something he wants to do (like attack my dog for example) he bites us lol
Philippines?
@@IceShadow47 Brasil, actually. Budgies were common, but it was not common at all to take them all of the cages. Amazon parrots are pretty common too (as you can imagine) and those were kept cage-free
@@nerdwithamouth630 oh I thought it was Philippines bc here in the Philippines I don't see anyone take their budgies
Pearl is a good bird and pillow too
Yes🥳
Im getting 2 cockatiels and im wondering if i should get 1 male and 1 female or both male because im getting for sure 1 male so which one would you recommend??
They are so super cute when they are outside their cage. I've had Pirate now 3 mos. Im the third owner. Hesitant to let him right now...
I love your channel I have 3 birds I have 3 yellow sided green cheek conures
She is very scared 😔
She is 7 months old, was hand fed by the store she was purchased from and her wings are clipped.
I will also buy one cockatiel and one budgie like you have I can not give proper time to them so I want to ask can they live together?
Anshika Singh - Do you mean in the same cage? That's actually not a good idea because even if they get along outside the cages, they can become territorial over their space. And if they fight, the budgie could get seriously hurt (and would have no way to escape.) We have our two cages standing next to each other though, so the birds can always see and "talk" to each other, even when they're locked up. 😊
@@KevinandKrista no I don't mean in a same cage I meant that can they talk to each other and be each other's buddy even if I am out in school so they can not get bored 😉🙂
And I have a hand raised budgie he loves your videos and hearing pillow
😀😀
Budgies are much better.
thx for this vid, i’m trying to do some more research abt cockatiels :D!

What should i do
Lmao just clean it
@@lla_6 its not like that bro ... I cannot just wipe clean it 100%. And cannot wash my bedding daily.
I think you should get a bugie becuse its more easier to take care of a little bird btw its me again lol
I think you should look into ALL species of parrots from lovebirds to macaws and spend time with them and research a lot and get the kind of parrot you want. My first bird was a quaker parrot (a medium sized bird) and she worked perfectly *for me*
cockatiel need taller cage or wider cage?
Hello again !
Just wanted to say that my bird just died today's afternoon and no not because of his eye
I literally don't know how and why, I came to get him out of the cage to play with him after I finished my classes on zoom and found him struggling with breathing so I video called the vet and he told me that there is nothing we can do he is dying and after 2 minutes he actually did😣😣😣
My cockatiel loves to lookout a window do yours look out windows
I bought 2 budgies in a pet store. I have had them a year and I still can't finger tame them. I'm still hoping some day they will get on my finger❤
XD
I actually got them both from the same pet store. :D
Both of my birds are in the den & they can see & hear each other & they love nature shows! :D
tldr version: Gilbee', my 'tiel, is my cuddle bug who comes out & sits with me, while Cookie, my budgie, is happy in his cage.
I have six budgies but I want a cockatiel since my budgies don’t stay near me then like to fly around
Thanks
I got my cockatiels from a pet store both raised by birds but one of them loves people and acts as if she was hand raised and my other cockatiel is like pillow he's not scared of peoplw but he doesn't ask for atentiom he just kinda likes being around my other bird
We brought ours from the pet store too
Make some more videos do the one where it says lovebirds versus cockatiels which one and I'll give you more likes

Can you make a video on how to tame a scared budgie my budgie is a year old and still doesn’t like me but he does eat treats from my hand
Early in getting both I did a lot of research I also know how u xan teach your birds tricks
Yall already know the step up trick
My command is swag but its known as eagle wings
When your birds wings go up say your command say wings keep saying your command until they understand u and put uo there wings
This trick is called flip
Put your bird on a perch and use millet to get them used to being upside down soon u will be able to make them flip
Now getting your bird to fly to your hand
Just like the step up trick use millet to let them on your hand keep going farther and farther away from your bird then say come if he or she goes to your finger u have taught your bird the trick if not keep trying
