I only read bits and pieces of random books last year because my mind was so full with school stuff but lately I’ve been reading Steal Like an Artist by Austin Kleon and it’s so so good!! I highly recommend it if you haven’t read it before as it really inspires my videos. Also you’ve really inspired me to get back into the ACOTAR series! ❤
I was surprisingly reading comic books last year. (I found a discount store with so many books~!!!) So, I didn't know I'd almost cry with the comic book version of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
But I will have to take note of the first Court of I forgot it's name again roses. 😅

For me it was between Acotar, Trace of Evil by Alice Blanchard, After series (xD) , and Untouchable by Sam Mariano ( not for everyone it’s a dark romance read trigger warnings).

I highly recommend Kingdom of the Wicked! It constantly subverts your expectations and the romance is top tier.
The story is so satisfying and it helped me move on after reading all of SJM’s books 🥰

Oh my gosh, I understand reading a book, and it just kind of being there for you during a hard time. I love the ACOTAR series, and for a long time, ACOMAF was my favorite, but then ACOSF came out, and it genuinely was there for me when I was going through it mentally. I don't cry easily in books, and I did with ACOSF (Nesta is my girl!!! Love her dearly). Ugh, I can not wait for you to read all of the books. They are so good. I have never read The Great Gatsby, but it's on my list.
Omg yes, ACOSF made me bawl my eyes out like 5 times in a good way. it’s the most healing book, I swear!
I added so many books to my list! I think you’d like A Dowry of Blood. It’s one of my favorites from last year! The writing itself is so romantic.

Sooooo, I thought I'll give some fiction books recs that I think your gonna like based on this video :)
- FOURTH WING!!!!!
- In the company of witches (there's also a second book in this series that is just as perfect)
- The secret garden (cozy, wholesome and easy read classic)
- The virgin suicides
I recommend The Folk of the Air series by Holly Black. The first book is called The Cruel Prince. The next book I recommend is called A Court this Cruel and Lovely by Stacia Stark. Both books have Fae, both have romance, both have smut, both are enemies to lovers, and both have a badass female lead. They have some trope compatible to Acotar and A Touch of Darkness.

I've heard so many good things about a court of thorns and roses. I'd like to give that a go. Jason Miller's books are soooo good! And the Great Gatsby is one of my fave fiction books 🥰 This was fun. Thanks for sharing Luna. ✨oooh just saw ur comment - I had so many fave books from last year sooo it's hard to choose but I did make a video as well for witchy books I loved on my channel.. If I had to choose...maybe To Fly By Night or Roger J Horne Spirit Flight Book or the Witches Devil. 🙏
Urban fantasy recommendation - the demon days vampire nights series by KF Breene and the Guild Codex (start with spellbound) series by Annette Marie. These were definitely my favorite 2023 reads (and re-reads lol)

Personally, I was disappointed with the level of "smut" in ACOTAR. Great book, but those that think that's smut???......I worry about your sex lives because I found that tame as.
!!!! Totally valid! I had met some friends of a friend and they were talking about how ACOSF was too spicy for them to enjoy and I was like 👀 to each their own BUT if they knew my preferred level of spice they’d probably freak out lmao
