I may try to figure out a way to do that, possibly something like 75% up front and then the rest spread over 6 or 12 months. Of course, the cost of the information is worth a LOT more than $200. If I charged say, $16 per month then a lot of people would just steal the info and cancel after the first month for cheap. Not saying you would do this, but it's a risk. I teach people to make over $250 per book, if profit is their goal... $200 per year in that context is dirt cheap?
@@ImproveCollectingComics yeah that's a good point, and it's hard to push out the best info "later" in the commitment... so yeah people would grab the info and quit lol. Good point.
Yes, at least one has signed up from the UK so far and a few more from Europe. I am not sure about shipping across the pond for grading but it's something I can look into for you
For tip number one very few pressers will press a book more than once twice if you’re lucky. You had to press your amazing Spider-Man 129 four times plus a few soft presses so I don’t think one will ever get the results that you do.
If you want to maximize the value of each book, yes. However, I have pressed numerous raw books and made a profit without slabbing them. It's not 100% necessary and I wouldn't do it if grading it meant making less than a certain amount. For most this would be around $50 to $100 potential profit. I actually don't do it now unless it makes at least $300 profit. PC books I make an exception though.
I appreciate the feedback. The value given in the community is hopefully worth a lot more than the $200. Reach out anytime and we can discuss. jim@improvecollecting.com or @improvecollecting on Instagram.
hello .. I have a ?.. do you press for your subscribers and if so how do I get in touch with you? I have a few books that my friend tried to press but I know you would do a better more thorough job. books are not worth a lot just neat covers...let me know thanks
The community Jim has set up is fantastic! The classes are in alpha but already packed with small details that have stumped me in the past.
Thanks for the kind words and feedback!
All the hard work is paying off

is there a way to subscribe monthly or something, and not drop the full annual cost at once?

Do you have anyone from the U.K. signed up? I would love to do the course but worry about shipping to the USA for grading

That's definitely true. You keep going until the book is as perfect as it can be, my OCD won't let me stop beforehand 😂
I have gollum syndrome. Every book is my precious haha. I need to learn to let go and make some money.
Guilty of that as well lol
Is grading books a required element for profitable outcomes? It seems like a large dollar investment. ($30+ per book)

what is your Ebay seller account?
@ArtizanMetal I don't have anything listed right now please check out my shortboxed account in the description. I'm transitioning away from ebay
Wish that I could join the course, but $200 is just way too steep for me

Great advice! Thanks! 😊
Unfortunately at this time I can’t afford your program. I’ll have to watch your free stuff and do the best I can
No problem, I understand! I realize it's not for everyone. I'll continue providing a lot of free info, thanks for watching!
I have such a hard time selling, even comics I don't even care about.
It's definitely tough lately, I have a system for listing books.. start with IG, then SB, then ebay BIN, then auction. It's been effective so far
the hardest thing to get a 9.8 on modern books is fingerprints are hard to see.
Yes, especially with my old man eyes

Hi and thanks for the confidence in me! Unfortunately, I don't do this as a business but only as a hobby and to teach others
Key is to only show your wins on RUclips
I show a lot of fails. I've never withheld anything that happens, so not sure what you mean?
You must get this from time 2 time, but in case not, wow, you sort of look like Ryan Gosling?..in a bro kind of way. Great tips btw..
I think someone did mention that to me once! And thanks
