    If you want to know what happend in the very last scene, the other panjurli was his father who had disappeared about 20-30 years back in the same spot. Shiva already died when he was strangled. It was the god who had come into him and given him that extra lease of life. When his work was done, uniting the forest officials with the tribals, he disappeared. Hope this helps.

    The Bootha Tradition.. Brought to the forefront through this movie. The first 20 minutes and last 20 minutes -> I can watch it a 100 times and still feel intensely spiritual. In the last scene, the hero dies but then the spirit (Lord Guliga) enters his body. It gives him a child. In the last dance - the Demigod (spirit) hands over the village and villagers to the forest officer (that's the whole dance), asks him to take care of the villagers like babies and then unites the whole village under the leadership of the officer... As it was time for the spirit (Guliga) to merge with its Lord (Panjurli) - that's the last scene where they disappear.

    The story was based on a tradition that is followed by almost every village of India and in that tradition, every village has a village deity which protects them and allows them to be flourished in the village, and annually villagers gather and celebrate a festival as the spirit of the deity entered to a man from the village, they offer food to the deity, sing devotional songs to the deity, deity in the body of the villager dance to deliver his message through signs and gestures, and if anyone have something to ask from the deity, then help is done through that man. So the movie's storyline is plotted around this tradition of India.

    Generally I don't watch kannada language movies, but I watched it because even the intellectuals were talking about this movie. And I feel I am purified after watching this movie. Recently I was admitted to hospital and the patient next to me was admitted to hospital after watching this movie, one person died in the theater.

    • @SharathM46
      @SharathM46 Год назад +5

      No bro… Lord demigod Guliga is the one, when shiva gets possessed during the climax fight scene. During the last song sequence inside forest, both demigods are Lord Panjurli. Remember the first scene where Shiva’s father played the role and how he disappeared in forest. 🙏

    • @bluephoenix9
      @bluephoenix9 Год назад +2

      @@SharathM46no buddy. You are wrong. Both are not Panjruli.
      Shiva is possessed by Guliga, as confirmed by him saying, "my Lord Panjruli might forgive you, but I, the protector, will not forgive you".
      Shiva's father is possessed by Panjruli while Shiva is possessed by Guliga.

    • @SharathM46
      @SharathM46 Год назад +3

      @@bluephoenix9 did you read my full comment... Im speaking about dimigods possession during 2 different sequences.. Guliga during climax fight scene & Panjurli during the last varaha roopam song...in most parts of coastal areas performing a particular demigod ritual (aka Kola utsav) is inherited by persona's ancestors. Like if father is doing the rituals of Panjurli, then his son will also be doing the same demigod Panjurli ritual as the first priority. Also in addition to that same person would also perform other demigods rituals too if the need arises (such as with availability of some other person)

    • @bluephoenix9
      @bluephoenix9 Год назад

      @@SharathM46 yup. I get it. You mean to say that the dance part and disappearing part were both Panjruli. I get it and kinda agree with you. During fight Guliga. Later Panjruli.

We realized that our Kannada movie is here in USA and usually 100 miles away from our house, and stays for 2-3 days . We just went in there for supporting , we were in for a treat . Weeks pushed and the movie stayed ,even came closer UpTo 50 ,40,then 28 miles. We were so much in awe we watched it thrice here , and enjoyed with friends on Prime. This movie is in my all time favorites list now .
