Yknow I just noticed that this is one of the only boss themes without the octostep motif. (the octarian little jingle). Considering we're fighting either a bunch of random inklings or just a bunch of copies of Four it's a neat detail to include, since it's the only boss which isn't related to the octarians.
Actually, it's in there if you listen closely. It's very well hidden, but the Octarian jingle is in there. It's just parted a bit and the rhythm is slightly changed, but it's immediately followed up with a flurry of notes. Listen to the first five notes starting at about 0:48 . Each quarter of this segment of the song begins this way.
they relaly need to buff this boss, it's kinda a cool idea but once you get to a certain level in multiplayer killing them is way too easy regardless of chips
Its so sad that ive cleared 7 pallets and only ever been given this boss ONCE ( i won ) but still its such a fun tune and boss that i wish i could get more of :/
I don’t think this will be the last time we’ll see 4 in a splatoon story mode: 1. Side order is wave 2 of the dlc, not final wave 2. Side order seems like a foundation of what we could expect from him/her in the future 3. The dev team seems to be preparing a better role for him/her in the future (The official splatoon world map has an location specifically marked as “agent 4’s house”)
When I first saw glimpses of this boss, I thought it was some secret boss like inner agent 3. Turns out, I just some how managed to never encounter it during any of the runs I did before my first win. Which was something like 8 runs.
When the official art came out, I thought it was going to be Team Chaos, and you would fight them to free them from Tartar’s control and build a team to save Marina; the more allies you have, the more likely you are to succeed in the final battle. Not sure if I like this more than what we got.
