I get your point but not every scene involving women has to pass the Bechtel test. Sorkin writes plenty of strong women with strong intellect and strong skills. And this conversation about Josh is a plot point for Donna in this episode. She is, in fact, wigging out.
So was that like a "defense of marriage" act thing, where congress was trying to define marriage as hetero only? And Josh said he'd tell the President to just sign it? How the hell was that not a bigger deal among the democrats in the show? Talk about a massive betrayal.
Love Ainsley's character - she definitely made an impression.
Love this moment between Ainsley and Donna!
I have always loved that line about the heat in her "Office"....."I could grow Papayas in here" 🤣🤣🤣
I'm thinking that when the writers said "how do you want me to write for Ainsley ? What is she ??". The answer was, "she's spunky".
@@dougbrown9574 🤣🤣🤣 Perfect Doug! I'm thinking Ainsley would be on board! 👋
The only mistake the producers on this show made in the first four seasons was losing Ainsley to another show as a full time cast member
I desperately want Sorkin to write a show with Ainsley and Sam married and as president
Lol that Dell laptop.
That was very nice.😊
Ok the description and the video- two different things
It will forever kill me that Donna’s date only asked her out because he thought she was Ainsley
Bechdel test fail: could Ainsley and Donna have talked about something other than men? Yes. Lots of things.
They talked about Papayas.

Nice try hear a Fresca shout-out.
Smoke shows
How could Josh and Donna never marry?
Horrible lighting means can't see Donna in that orange red dress

Twas the times we lived in. Kind of like women's rights over their bodies. Or not.
Because it just created a federal definition of marriage, which was a step backward, but didn't remove the states' rights to permit gay marriage.
