The Lil B review is a joke, but Lil B is worth a dive if you can. As people have stated before a full deep dive into his discography would be practically impossible due to how many mixtapes there are and how a lot of them are several hours long, but I think you could listen to a few of his more popular mixtapes and call it good. Once you really start to get Lil B and understand the appeal it becomes a great experience listening to his albums. I’d recommend 6 Kiss for his more cloud rap side, Everything Based for his more wild side, God’s Father for his more introspective (it’s the longest one I’m gonna recommend at 2 hours long but almost every song is a banger so it’s worth it) and Hoop Life for his connections with the NBA world. In my opinion listening to those specific mixtapes would adequately show you all the different aspects of Lil B. Great video btw!
Its crazy that "Angelic to the Core" isn't in this video considering it was #1 on his worst albums of the decade. Good video tho, goated fyp. Subbed for sure
A little context, because nobody in your comments section gets it either for some reason: The Lil B review is more of a jab at the music journalism space at the time. He was trying to point out how difficult it is to properly critique Lil B, because his fan base and the media buzz surrounding that fan base operated on like 40 layers of irony. So Fantano, hands tied, decided to just say, "y'know what, it sucks. And if you disagree, whatever."
I hope Popular Monster by Falling In Reverse ends up getting a 0 if Fantano ever decides to review it. Ronnie Radke is currently trying to sue him for defamation because he can't handle criticism or being called out for his behavior.
I don’t think Fantano wants to even give him attention or validation by reviewing his music at this point. Kind of like “You’re barely a musician at this point I’m not even going to review you.”
Easy sub for me dude! Really enjoy your perspective, you truly seem to give anything a chance musically, and your depth as a listener, I can tell is very…well, deep for lack of a better word
Great vid! If you wanna do the lil B discog ranking (which would be based asf) I would suggest starting with his more infamous and highly rated projects and after that listening to the less popular ones! those I would recommend hearing first are: 6 Kiss, Everything Based, Blue Flame, Red Flame, Evil Red Flame, Illusions Of Grandeur, BasedGod Velli, God's Father, The BasedPrint II, P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thug), Basedworld Paradise, Black Ken, Call Of Duty Task Force
@@lex5198it just means the artist had no potential in the first place. Such as lil xan or gunna. A 0 means you’ve wasted potential in every way possible not good means there was no potential from the start so if zeni does this he’s in for a boringgggg time

Harsh on the ears is an understatement, and didn't Cudi say that he was deppresed at the time so he just kinda screamed into a mike and called it music?
