  • How to make vertical cuts on a table saw. Yes, I actually saw another video where someone made a freehand cut like in the thumbnail! Thankfully the video is now taken down. Keep watching to see the proper method.
If you liked this video, make sure you check out the jig I made in my last one:

Will you ever do a DIY video on how to make the table saw slide/cradle? I'm slowly getting into wood working and just recently got a table saw but haven't really got any accessories for it yet. So I was really curious on how to make that, if that's no issue. Thanks!

@scanr10 I think you mean a table saw sled? The best video would show how to make one from the beginning, but since I already have one, it's not the highest priority project. There are heaps of videos available on RUclips with different table saw sled designs. I would recommend starting with a very simple one if you are just getting into woodworking. Thanks for asking and good luck!

Is that a dewalt table saw? Your videos with audio would be a lot more enjoyable and better for teaching but your work speaks for it self I assume lol great job as always.

Yes, it's a dewalt table saw. By videos with audio, do you mean videos with voice over? i.e. talking about what I'm doing.

Nicely made jig, but I did find myself thinking during the video: "If I had the other tools, I would just use them to make the cuts."
But good to create a jig if you regularly need to make those types of cuts

Yes, these joints can also be cut with hand tools. I agree that jigs are worthwhile if regularly making a certain type of cut. And sometimes they make the cut safer if using power tools. Thanks!

This type of jig can be used for other general purposes like cutting very acute angles, since the table saw blade will only go to 45.

I think this method is OK if you're not a real man.

@@kiwiworkshop Never thought about it that way. I think you might be right.
By the way, these tools can be purchased ready-made. They're called "tenoning jigs." I'm sure making one yourself is fun, though. Thanks for the video.
