Folks !! Munich! It’s a popular city it felt small with a lot of people but it’s full of things to do and the perfect base for some travelling .. Il Working my round Germany again so stay tuned for more ! Let me know below what you think of Munich (not including Oktoberfest )
I don’t know why I don’t think I’m a fan of Munich or Berlin ….. I’m still leaning towards the smaller towns of Germany … I think is cool don’t get me wrong it’s just I didn’t feel like wow I really like this city
@@LifestyleHal - I kinda get what you mean. When I visited (pre pandemic), there wasn't the 'quaintness' that you'd associate with those smaller towns that you mentioned. It did settle in for me however, after spending a night there. Because it seemed to me (the naive traveler), that the city was "all business" during the day, but that spell lifted at night, and the local nightlife was measurably different.
I think it’s a top city … it’s just for me personally I wasn’t feeling like I did in Vienna for example … but I have a feeling I will enjoy a different yet smaller German city/town
@@LifestyleHal - Fair point. If a city doesn't resonate with you, it is not necessarily a bad thing. As you say, it just gives you an incentive to find one that does.

Please don't come anymore, I live in Munich and it's absolutely packed with tourists every summer. It's too much and I hate it, you're taking our city.
@@hevog your country collect taxes from services and goods that tourists pay for. Plus their money keeps businesses running. Of course not every tourist is a good tourist, but without them, restaurants, bars, shops would not earn enough. Think about October Fest. How many people come, How much money they spend.
too expensive city and incomes are relative low ! most of peoples work for around 2500 euro netto monthly which are not so good for this town and are significantly lower incomes then in similar expensive Switzerland cities

I live in Munich, too. I'm fine with people coming here. Oktoberfest and the tourism around it is questionable but otherwise it's ok. 😊
But you enjoy with the taxes that come from tourists right? Right?
@@seymurmehtiyev7949 Which taxes? Are tourists playing taxes in Munich except for the VAT when they are buying stuff.
