    i use to play Bondhay all the time in the late 90's early 2000's, i hardly recognise it. where did all those trees come from?!

      I actually went to the open day when I was probably around 12 or 13 and the trees were just little stakes in the ground! I think the idea was that they planted many many very young trees as they did not expect so many to take and grow, but..... they definitely did! lol

      Thank you, really kind. Bondhay is great as it also has a shorter 9 hole course. Fantastic way to start. Go be brave and give it a go and let me know how you get on when you do.

      Just get out there! Easiest way is bite the bullet and just do it! Me and my mates started a couple years back and we were shooting 130+ rounds. Nothing to be embarrassed about, we all start somehwere! :)

      Absolutely and always cross winds to deal with. A very tough test of golf for sure.

      Ate me alive. If you miss the tight fairways you’re screwed.

      it can deifnetly be brutal. I played the front 9 the week before and played half the holes sideways on my second shots lol But hopefully when we get out to play courses that are more open, those fairways will seem like 100 yard fairways!
