I saw some videos where it might have a password when connecting to pc. Is there a method to bypass it? Just asking if worth ordering a cable and all the effort or not.
@@T1000cy the software generally isn’t free but you can “find” it easily , I can’t share mine as I have a copy of the depot software, a fiend of mine works in the trade , passwords can be bypassed by recovering the radio but you need to have the correct version of firmware already downloaded ready , it’s a bit of a pain to explain
My friend has one of these dp4400e and I have a uv-5r, no matter what channel he puts his dp4400e on I cannot seem to find the frequency to hear anything over the Airways. Could the dp4400e have an encryption or something programmed in that won't allow others on same frequency to be able to listen in?

You need the Mototrbo CPS (probably version 16) and the correct programming cable

Is this a Civi band radio?, Or Can it only be programmed to specific channels?
This one is a UHF 400-470 MHz digital / analogue radio that can be programmed to any frequencies in the uhf band

@@dkphillна мотороле нужно поставить аналоговый канал
@@dkphillthe dp4400 is a DMR while the uv5r is an analog. No way they could talk to each other.
That makes no sense… cheapest I’ve found is literally £50! Or £300
