More than 250 people are taking legal action against UK’s intelligence and security agency MI5. Survivors and families of victims of the Manchester bombing of 2017 are taking the agency to court. This bombing was one of the worst terror attacks in the history of UK. It killed 22 people and another 100 were injured. Upon inquiry, it was found that the attack could have been stopped has the MI5 acted quickly on the intelligence it had. Is it common to take legal action against a nation’s intelligence agency? Will legal action help the survivors of the bombing? Palki Sharma tells you.
