I received my first KKHI Khukri British Service #2 last month and it came about 1 week earlier than expected. I am very happy with the product, it's literally a work of art! Did some heavy work with it and it works flawlessly! I've emailed back and forth with KKHI and received responses within a day. I think my next order will be the Nemesis
i bought one of these scourges from khhi when they first went on sale, absolutely beautiful knife but i did have issues with the handle, hotspots galore, took a file to the handle and removed the dimple on the underbelly of the handle and wrapped the handle in hockey tape, it's now perfect, fantastic bit of kit.
Thank you for sharing, that's surprising as the comfort of the handle is my favorite aspect of the knife...must have been a bad one off the line, glad you were able to fix it to your liking 👍

These knives from KHHI are hands down some of the best knives I have! And I'm not done either... Excellent video, and your production values are very impressive! I picked up an inexpensive imported Kukri way back in the 1970s after being impressed by some Gurkha demonstrations during my exploration of other cultures and religions. I've abused the heck out of it and it's held up impressively. (And BTW, I also habitually say Bow-ee instead of Boo-ee, so you're not alone in that.) Cheers!
The kukri house does make great knives and uses the best delivery system out there. They keep you updated in actual time, for example when they said your knife arrived at your house look outside and they are right there. Customer service, satisfaction and time is unbelievable.

Yes, I have seen from later pieces looking more refined, and the toughness and handmade feel is always there...I think they are a great value for some really bad a$$ builds...especially Dbad designs...I designed the "JD Tanto" for them that they sell
You can put custom orders in for the blade length you want, just keep in mind, it might change the balance, maybe increase, ricasso or handle to compensate
The only thing I recommend is to request a sharp edge if you require it as while there work is solid and well done, there edge is not as sharp as I would want them to be, I actually just designed a tanto that they are going to be selling on their site, thanks for being here buddy
For the record, I have owned and used a KHHI made Scourge for years, however the designer Andrew has since taken his design to another khukuri house and KHHI are actually no longer the official makers. That happened about 2015 or 2016.
@@JoeSteel1 oh I love mine, my wife got it for me one Christmas right before Andrew took his design to Kailash. That khukuri has traveled hundreds of miles with me, made a ton of fires and is a trusted companion. Mine does not have the pin in the finger guard like yours but there hasn't ever been an issue so not sure why they did that.
Where did he move too? Because I just bought a Scourge from KHHI and I think they burned me. UPS says that they do not have my package. I also got a completely separate email from a shipping service called "Quick Way" that KHHI uses and they said that they already handed it off to UPS be shipped to me. But that is completely untrue.

No idea if I'll get a refund or if they will make my blade again. Either way I'm going to review them here on RUclips. If I get my blade it will be an honest review. If I don't, well it will be an EXTREMELY honest review.
I just made a channel a while ago. It came out sideways but I can fix that. I'll take your advice and start making sheath for knives and if anyone wants ones well.
