I have this ladder installed on my 4Runner and it’s amazing. It installs off to the side so it downs interfere with viewing out the back window. Plus it bows outward from the rear of the vehicle so you can actually put your foot in the rungs while climbing. Most other ladders don’t do this, they hug the hatch making using the ladder awkward
Mine arrived today. It had two black foam strips that were floating around in the box. They have sticky adhesive on one side. They were attached to the ladder somewhere but no idea where they belong. Any idea? Did yours have foam strips attached to your ladder anywhere? THX
@@ysoserius8784 I did. Apparently they go inside the 2 “latches” that hook around the bottom of the lift gate. Supposed to go between the thin edge of the steel on the lift gate and the aluminum of the two hooks on the bottom Make sense? If not lemme know I’ll try to explain better.
@Treetopflyer777 wowowow.... i ripped mine as i pasted the two sticky sides together till i found out what to do with them. I had to buy nitrile foam from autozone. Now ill just paste it on every contact point between the ladder and car. 15$ shaking my head
Nice upgrade

@@Treetopflyer777 Is the ladder visible from the rear view camera when backing up?
Can u get the bolts and nuts in black, are they aluminum too?
The hardware is stainless steel. No options on the website to come in black.
How do you uninstall the top plate to prevent the adhesive from peeling the paint?
Using a heat gun to warm up the tape makes for easy removal.
Having hard time at the bottom part. It wont stick
Hard to see the installation of the ladder.
Really difficult to see the installation. The black on black makes detail virtually impossible to see. 🙁
a ladder is the most useless mod of all.
