Any plans for an aluminum rear bumper for the 3rd gen Tacoma? I already have your front bumper installed and love it!
What tools are needed?
I was going to buy that bumper till I saw the price. No thanks.
Hey Johnny! Our pricing is in Canadian dollars, and includes free shipping anywhere in North America.
Just bought this one recently and i was supposed to install the baja s8 lightbar on this bumper but the brackets seems way off from the slot.
Where can I go to it it installed by you guys?
Really wish you would have installed a bare aluminum version or used a ton more light. Or both. Otherwise, very detailed explanation.
I like the design of these gutter blocks better than a similar product from Southern Style. Offroad These bolts that attach to the truck don't have to be removed if you want to temporarily remove the rack, thus not upsetting the waterproof seal. SSO do add butyl tape to their kit which I think would be a nice tweak to this unit instead of the silicone.
Great in depth instruction on installing the sliders, can not wait to get my hands on them! ps. I see your left hand got some cut/scratches from the install, a pair of glove would help, cheers!
Looks like you have an RC62F. Congrats.
Those stand look great does anybody have any info on them, thanks
This should be $600 minimum why tf is it over 1k ?!???
Great install video. Calm, professional not yelling or throwing things around. 😂 Will this bumper work with the TRD skid plate?
Can you also mount a kayak rack over that
Can u get the bolts and nuts in black, are they aluminum too?
The hardware is stainless steel. No options on the website to come in black.
Do you have to cut the body to remove the crash bar or does that just make it easier?
OK, just installed them. Was a little harder than I thought as I did it outside at night. My recommendation is if you have a friend, the install will probably be much easier. Thanks again for the instruction it really helped.
Looks great
They got to be better then the Bumper superstore I paid $3000 for a trailready bumper and 2 months after I paid for the bumper I get a email saying that the labor day sale is over and the bumper went up $400 and they want the extra $400 I told then that there must be a mistake because I paid in full and I've never heard back from them I have a receipt where I paid in full They want return my calls and deleted my reviews They just scamming people Good luck out there

Just bought mine and a bumper, super excited to put them on
Cut out cut out, throwing out a lot of things. No thanks, I probably just keep it as it is
thanks for the detailed instructions. i didn't buy rci because i could not find any good video on the install. i just ordered my aluminum sliders!!! thanks!
Anyway to get these with the 12.5 angle??
Question: Are the wings compatible with the other slim line bumpers for the tacoma?
I would love one of these for my 2nd gen.
Does the stump bumper and to the overall length of the truck?
Love your products. Great install video but I find some of your install videos extremely dark (I installed your ladder and found the same on that one). Not sure if it’s my tv or not but some bright lighting might really help.
7:19 was a little bit of a challenge to get a wrench on the bolts. Other than that it was an easy install.
I have the RCI skid plate and RCI filler plate. Will these work with the Greenlane bumper?
I just did this. bumper & skid work fine. You can use the filler plate if you do some cutting with an angle grinder.
Awesome. I came here to ask this exact question.
Works with TRD skid plate also?
What size are the flat-head Allen bolts for the oil filter plate.
Really difficult to see the installation. The black on black makes detail virtually impossible to see. 🙁
3:39 my bolts snapped off. Now what?
Taking them off? Did you get this resolved?
How will this work with a skid plate?
It clears with plenty of room ( TRD Pro skid)
Will it work for xreas
So can these be mounted with the factory rock sliders still on? Or do they need to be removed?
Your website has the cat converter cover. Is it possible to see a video with the cat cover
Nice, thanks.
What are the specs on this taco lift wheels etc?
Dude. No safety glasses?😮
Does it work with TRD factory skid plate?
Yes it does...
The recovery points look higher on the bumper in this video than in the pictures on the website (which look like they line up with the frame). Which arrangement is current?
Hi Justin, Current models have the tow points lower, inline with the frame.
Man, that's a lot of work to install a bumper made on a brake........
Hey, just received and installed a set of angled with kick out sliders from you on my 2014 SR5. It only ended up taking 12 bolts per side, is this supposed to be the case, or maybe I just missed some? Also, will these sliders hold half the weight of the vehicle like a steel slider if needed? I understand these aluminum sliders aren't as strong as a full steel set
So how did you secure the electrical connection box you unmounted? also, How did you support the brake lines after removing the supports? Seems kinda janky to leave those just hanging unsupported
The nuts that hold the electrical box are reinstalled on top of the sliders frame mount.
The brake lines left like that give me pause…brakes are more important than preventing rock damage.
Lol y’all are nerds
Does the addition of a stump bumper impact air bag deployment?
I would imagine it wouldn't since there are no sensors in the bumper for the airbag system.
@@silvermonk13 According to Honda, any aftermarket non OEM products can have an impact on air bag deployment speeds. A .01 second slower deployment can mean a big difference in airbag terms. I'll try to find the video I found on it.
What lift is on this truck?? It looks high but also so good
Aluminum is great for a lot of things. Sliders are not one of them. Your sliders look awesome guys, very well made. But a consumer is buying them for a reason… Protection. They double as a side step but if that’s all you need get something less expensive. I get that that people want to save weight, but in a critical area like that steel is the only way to go.
Thanks for the feedback Scott, we have 100's of sets out there protecting peoples trucks - while we agree aluminum will not hold up to repeated abuse as well as steel, they are frame mounted and offer plenty of protection from side and bottom impacts. For our customers the pros far out weigh the slight compromise in strength versus a steel alternative.
@@donovantmatotally 100% agree! Can’t wait to order mine for my 22 Tacoma.
your site says that with this skid the factory front jack point is retained can you elaborate or link to how this works? Thanks Love your stuff.
There is a substructure welded to the inside of the skid plate that picks up the factory jack point on the frames cross member - this allows you to fully support the weight of the vehicle.
No chafe guards for the now unsupported brake lines? Interesting choice.
We have hundreds of sets out there with no issues!
@@donovantma that's good & all, but hydraulic brake lines are not something to leave free hanging. Might be leaving yourself open to liability if/when one rubs through on a bolt head. A few bucks in r&d for a washer that has a restraint point might be wise.
@@psguardian great call, appreciate the idea - always looking to improve wherever we can!
