“To only go one time would be a shame” unfortunately most of us will never have $20k to $30k to put down on a hunting trip. But, as someone who only owns Kuiu brand for hunting - I live vicariously through you.
Well you are either lying or don’t know what you’re talking about. The only way to get a Brown Bear Tag in Alaska is if you are an Alaskan resident (most are not) which means you have to buy a tag from an outfitter who all charge $15k to $25k I took the average of $20k it is the only place in America you can hunt brown bears. Otherwise you’re flying to Russia/Siberia and by the time you get through travel expenses, guides license you’re looking at similar prices so nice try dude try to blow smoke up someone else’s A
20-30k for a bear hunt? What are you hunting a gold-plated bear? The most expensive thing is food and toilet paper. I got 3 bears under my belt and i didn't spend much.
Oh really? Where did you get your bear tag? Just curious. What state do you live in? Because unless you are an Alaskan Resident or have family that is an Alaskan resident you can’t get a bear tag genius unless you buy from an outfitter
Oh and for you geniuses that keep saying “I have killed 6 bears” did you forget the interesting little piece of info at the beginning of the video? “There has only been an estimated 350 brown bears killed with a bow in the last 70 years” that’s not because it’s just so easy and cheap to get a brown bear tag. Lying keyboard warriors
Congrats! I don't know how you guys hold it together. Bow in hand, last hours of the hunt after 15 days hard after it, AND you have this HUGE carnivore stand up in front of you less than 60 yards away, not knowing if your shot is going to make him run away or towards you. You got nerves of steel, my man!
My MAN! I cant tell you how many times I have watched that video from 2018. But I know I’ve told at least twice that many people that they have to watch it. It is my ultimate dream to go get one of those brown bears. I will will probably watch this video just as many times. I look forward to the one in 2026
Brendan you got the second BAR,&EVEN WANT MORE TAGS EVERY 4YEARS ALASKA GIVE FOR YOUR BEST ZONES...WELL GUESS WHAT SIR,YOU COULD BE DEAD BEFORE GETTING THE NEXT ONE...YOUR $CANT SAVE YOU THEN..."WHAT SHALL A MAN PROFIT IF HE SHALL GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD&LOSE HIS SOUL?" CONSIDER THIS SIR,JESUS WAS NOT UP ON HIS CROSS LAUGHING,HE PAID A DEBT OF SIN HE DIDNT OWE,WE DID!😮😮
Can I ask a few questions? I don't want to draw hate. I am not a vegan and I acknowledge the wild is a savage place. The life cycle is real and we (and other animals) eat meat. I am under no illusions surrounding where we get our food from. So I am not one of those guys. But does this hunt serve a purpose beyond fun? Are the bears a nuisance or pose a problem that they need to be culled every now and again? I would also like to ask about the specs on the bow. Brand, poundage, and arrow weight and speed with that arrow weight if possible ( I can calculate energy and momentum from that) That is a big bear, and I know the shot has to be clean, but I just wanted to get a gauge on what kind of weapon you would need to take down a creature that big assuming you make a clean strike of course.
in some areas there is too many predators so taking a few will increase the population of other animals like deer or moose. But also in general in most places there is enough bears that yes you can just hunt them for enjoyment and a pretty massive carpet or whatever you want to do with the fur.
The Alaska Fish and Game set limits for all big game based on what they think will keep the predator/pray life in balance alongside the right for the native tribes and residents of Alaska that use these animals as a main source of food. Brown and black bears in particular like moose and caribou... a lot. I think it is between 40-60% of all caribou/moose calves die due to bears and wolves, so it is important to keep the predator population in check so that hunting does not tip the balance in either way. That's the entire point of these hunts being available to those that don't live inside the state of Alaska.
A fifteen day hunt camping out in the cold and rain and hunting all day long is a challenge to any hunters determination to stick with the hunt to the last day, what a beautiful ending. To kill a deer at 50 yards is quite an achievement . Replace deer with Big Brown Bear and that kill was in a class of it's own. Nerves of steel and a skilled Bow Hunter pulled it off, what a hunt.
The sheer fortitude and determination it must take to do 15 days in that place!! Whew, i can only imagine. You gotta really want it!! I love hunting and i looove camping but thats a whole nother level man. Mr lance is that guy, if you had to be stuck in a tent for two days let it be with him, the stories that man must have. Whew, super cool boys!!!
Absolutely amazing hunt and just truly an astonishing animal. Will forever be my dream hunt with a bow and one day I hope to get the chance. Again great work to Brendan and the team.
This video is insane on so many different levels. The mental fortitude and strength it takes to stick with it like you did in this video is insane!! Kuiu give this guy some free hunting shit!!! Amazing video. Great work. Also will you guide me next year??!! Please!! P.s. Kuiu storm star 2 person tent is the only way to go.
Truly epic. Best line, “We’re in the process of shooting the world’s shi!!iest brown bear hunt then this happens on day 15!” Thanks for sharing the highs and many lows that can come from true hunting.
The best part is when Brandon says "Gotta love bowhunters" and Lance says "no more". Its funny because the last bear hunt they went on Lance said he hates bow hunters 😂
Is all I want to know is where can I get that green button up shirt he’s wearing?! That thing is sweet! FYI this just popped up on my feed, zero knowledge on who he is or his brand.
It's a disgrace to see someone who thinks he's a hero like cowardly ambush and kill a bear from a safe distance with a deceptive Quacking Duck. Such a huge, highly developed animal, important for this nature, torn from life for an ego thought. Everyone can draw a bow, and there are many cowardly men like you who only feel good for 2 months because they actually have personal problems
In a time of this planet where massive land mammals are basically becoming wiped out, why are you feeling the need to kill them? what you are doing is basically ensuring that these beautiful creatures become extinct. Have you not learnt from what our ancestors have done and the species they've caused to go extinct? You could have quite easily followed this beast with cameras and enjoyed watching them live and how they live in their ecosystem. Alaska is virtually the last place on this overpopulated planet that they can exist. Be a man lay down your weapons and enjoy watching these creatures in their habitat. One day they will be gone forever so you can either stop now and actively protect them or be the cause of why they disappear for no future generations to see.

What a really tough hunt! Hats off to you and your friends, and congrats, that is truely the hunt of a lifetime!!

Hot damn that was one beast of a bear.
"we'll take the king air to another airport", next scene they all pile into a Piper Navajo😆
Brendan living his best life! Love you bro. You guys earned that one! hard hunting, great times.

Lance and Burns, two of my favorite gentlemen in the industry. God bless you both
How can god bless a high tech weapon killer? What kind of god should that be? Surly not the god who created the beauty of our planet…
@MrRaeberz God gave us precedence over land and beast. Says so in the good book. Take care friend 😊
Absolutely amazing! Huge congrats to Brendan and the KUIU team!

Fantastic hunt and a great bow shoot congrats 👏

Wow congratulations, you'll are blessed. not only to get that giant but to be able to hunt that long!
Great video! Been in Alaska since 1977. Great job showing what Alaska hunting can be like.
Totally awesome! Can’t begin to imagine what you felt. A true monster. Congratulations Mr. 👍👍
Amazing what money can buy
Absolutely amazing hunt and just truly an astonishing animal. Will forever be my dream hunt with a bow and one day I hope to get the chance. Again great work to Brendan and the team.
The amount of determination is what’s impressive to me! 15 days of hard hunting and getting it done with 3 hours left! congratulations
Wow, awesome film. Couldn't imagine how incredible this hunt must be with a bow.
Excellent. That was a beautiful sow as well. There is nothing that compares to the peninsula in my opinion. Miss that place dearly.
that bears head was the size of bros torso…..holllllyyyyy shiiiittttt that is terrifying 🤦♂️😂
Great hunt and incredible filming footage. Serious quality.
So you hunt an inedible animal thats precious for the region for what exactly?
Good sporting challenge. Suck it up crybaby
Ohhh youre guided by Lance?!!! That dude is "MR. BROWN BEAR"!!!!Every video ive watched with mr Lance in it has been badass and successful!!
This video is insane on so many different levels. The mental fortitude and strength it takes to stick with it like you did in this video is insane!! Kuiu give this guy some free hunting shit!!! Is the Polar Bear the biggest land predator?
Or are they considered an aquatic mammal?
Either way…. An impressive, beautiful and fierce animal.
Truly epic. Best line, “We’re in the process of shooting the world’s shi!!iest brown bear hunt then this happens on day 15!” Thanks for sharing the highs and many lows that can come from true hunting.
The Ram Hustle.. congrats Brendan

Great job, Brendan!
Gosh dang that’s amazing. Bottom of the ninth / home run!
Congrats, man. Stuff we dream about. Also, new drinking game: every time Brendan says great big bear, you take a shot. lol
I got alcohol poisoning playing this by myself.

I was doing triples.
@@turdferguson2982 lmao
That's 2x humongous Coastal's with a bow. You are a VERY LUCKY MAN-with a GREAT GUIDE. Where do you keep 2-10ft Brown Bears? Good problem. LOL
That was epic !
Great bear. Great hunt. Nice work again Forsyth
Wooo congratulations awesome bear + the views 👍
What was the song at 8:30? I liked it. Great hunt guys!
Polar bear is the world's largest land predator.
Kodiak bears tend to be slightly bigger than polar bears. They eat more protein than most bear species because of their specific diet of salmon
WOW!!! HANDS DOWN THE BEST BROWN BEAR HUNTING VIDEO ON RUclips, AND BELIEVE ME IVE SEEN ALL OF THEM!
Good bless America!! Without hunters the land would be lost
Great video guys, and amazing bear...congrats Brendan!
I think I’ve seen every grizzly hunt on RUclips. I was hype to see something new!!
Wicked stuff Matt, looking forward to the next one!
I prefer hunters that do it for food not because of their insecurities.
What makes you think he didn't eat it or are insecure. You sound like the insecure one.
Wow! Incredible hunt, bear and experience Brendan! So happy for you! Congratulations!!!
Why do you kill this Bear??
For fun. He said in the video "To raise the bar".
Great video. Thanks Kuiu!! I feel for you Brendon. Air/sea sickness is the worst. You were a trooper for the camera.
Please tell me you ate that bear.
That Valkyrie was the definition of the right head for that hunt! Awsome footage.
Cringe
Great video and hunt. The walk up is always live.
Dude what arrow and head did you use and what was the weight of the arrow ? Awesome Hunt..
THAT IS A HUGE DAMN BEAR.CONGRAULATIONS
Did the guy with the back-up rifle REALLY put the scope cover on before they had proof that he was dead!?
What’s the point man. He will be waiting when you cross over
Awesome hunt. I love watching success stories like this.
it looks like shooting fish in a barrel. what is the accual point of this. is the brown bear an introduced species and a pest to alaska....
Incredible bear. Absolute man eater. Great show, boys.
What is that camo pattern called? Never seen that looks like a desert storm chocochip remix
Great video! Fantastic storytelling and captures a truly epic adventure. Way to stick with it. 15 days on an island is a LONG time.
Beautiful animal congrats on all the things that had to come together to make it happen . Luck was good . Shot was tough , you did it ! Heck yea !
Brendan, awesome job man. Congrats!
It takes balls of steel to hunt Browns with a bow. Great job man!
And the 4 other guys off camera holding 3 guns apiece
What was that sound just before he shot the bow?
Predator call...imitates dying or distressed prey
Is all I want to know is where can I get that green button up shirt he’s wearing?! That thing is sweet! FYI this just popped up on my feed, zero knowledge on who he is or his brand.
I wonder how many of those browns were taken with a traditional bow?
Poor bear, damn.
What is that franken bowsight black gold with an option head?
Nothing like good old fashioned grassroots corporate hunting!
Awesome video and bear!!! Congratulations....
It would be pretty funny if they got caught off guard and charged by a bull and viciously shredded and mauled to death.
Hope so I stand for equality 😂
I give you credit with the bow hunt part but still sad :(
Awesome Hunt! Thanks for sharing!
Wtf what is the sense behind killing this animal? Just for fun or what.
Did I see the guide put cover back on scope???what if!!!
Great story, thanks for sharing!!
That bear did everything right to become a king ,just to stand 0 chance against a hiding human
Congratulations...you are a true sportsman! It doesn't get much better!
What tents are they using? They almost look like Artic Oven brand.
Giant glad your first shot counted.
Worst possible outcome is becoming lunch 😂 But I guess it still implies youre going home empty handed.
Great video! What tent did you use fir the trip?
Where can I find that button up at the end of the video
Should try and Fred bear that hunt! Recurve style
Why? compounds are better.
Shame on you. This is despicable.
Awesome bear congratulations
Freaking awesome hunt guys! Got my sub!
That's a low percentage shot, but hey you can't make a shot you don't take.
Awesome video. Congrats!
You can go only every 4 years??
That thing is unreal!
Biggest factor is the $$$$… if it wasn’t for these hunts being 20,000.00 - 30,000.00 a lot of people would go regularly.
Congrats brother Bowhunter. Huge.

Leave the bears alone, they never did you any harm. Feel like a big man now, huh?
What happens with the bear after it is shot? Do they eat it? Do they stuff it?
Isnt the polar bear the biggest land predator on the planet
