Djokovic has always shown respect to all his opponents throughout his career, in fact that is the one thing he has always been praised about, and even in defeat he is very gracious. Wow, what a match! Definitely one of the most exciting of the tournament so far where you really didn’t know what was going to happen. The underdog taking the first set, a deciding set forced after a tense tiebreak, breaks of serve happening left and right-just amazing!!! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and I must give credit to Griekspoor because he played beautifully, but once again my champion Nole pulls through, bravo for Serbia🤩

Novak definitely needed such a topsy-turvy match to groove, refocus and reenergise himself after a long break and he got them enough in this match with twists and turns. The paris crowd behaviour again left much to be desired applauding a double fault and this inversely collaterally damaged the prospects of Griekspoor with Novak again determined to teach a good lesson to the crowd for wrongly rubbing him.
Now Novak must go for his 7th title and finish the year in style improving upon his last year's performance which was nothing short of magic.
