Look at how Djokovic gives a thumbs up, embraced tallon at the net after the match and overall showed a lot of respect for tallon from start to finish for the way he played. And you will still have people saying he doesn't respect other players because of the drama of the match with Shelton at USO. Djokovic has always shown respect to all his opponents throughout his career, in fact that is the one thing he has always been praised about, and even in defeat he is very gracious.
For Djokovic to not show the same level of respect to Shelton, you gotta believe that there is something really off about that guy.

Stretching this match on purpose was a strike of genius for several reasons.
    1) He gets to play more points and to have more time to warm up after a month and a half away from the court.
    2) He delays the start of Rune's match in order to finish late like Sinner's.
    3) He gets to improve his "clutch stats", such as tie-breaks and wins after losing the first set.
Djokovic has indeed a very high IQ.

Lmao, now that's some solid logic. Sometimes would be nice to acknowledge that tennis involves two players and on the other side of the court there's always a person who gives his best to win. The level of tennis you can express depends also on how well the other player's doing.

The result? Djokovic doesnt lose a single point the rest of the match... tells you everything you need to know about him.

Novak definitely needed such a topsy-turvy match to groove, refocus and reenergise himself after a long break and he got them enough in this match with twists and turns. The paris crowd behaviour again left much to be desired applauding a double fault and this inversely collaterally damaged the prospects of Griekspoor with Novak again determined to teach a good lesson to the crowd for wrongly rubbing him.
Now Novak must go for his 7th title and finish the year in style improving upon his last year's performance which was nothing short of magic.
