Best racing game from my childhood. PGR4 has nothing but nostalgia written all over it. I played the hell out of this game. Me and my father used to race against each other so much and I kicked his ass many times! Just watching this intro makes me feel old. It is now 10 years of PGR4. Man, time sure flies.
My dad used to whoop my ass in this game when I was younger but we fired it up recently and oh how times have changed, and oh how satisfying that felt for me

The soundtrack is also very nice, there's classical, rock, electronic, many type of music, and the main menu song composed by The Prodigy is the best thing ever
Love this game. It was better than Forza, before Forza. How could they abandon this for Forza? Better graphics, physics. Why is the 4th always the best? FM4, GT4 GTA 4 PGR4 Same with 2, Mafia 2, TDU 2, FH2.
This game made me develop my knowledge on cars, it was crazy. Once I could drift with only a selected few, man I felt untouchable. 😅😎 Looking forward to play PGR-4 never felt dull! ✌🏾🔥

I don't want to be messing about tuning, upgrading suspension etc like u do in forza, give me a choice (car class) and let's go racing.
Yup. Though it's a sporty car, it's not an actual sports car, so you can't really push it when you race. At the time though I think it was the first and, for a while, only game that featured the car so it was a great sort of novelty.

I remembered a lot that PROJECT GOTHAM RACING 4 was also developed by the one releasing FORMULA 1 PS1 games like F1 1995 and 97 and BLUR, BIZARRE CREATIONS.

I got Driveclub today mostly because I’ve been hearing exactly that-it’s like PGR4. While I can say it’s definitely not got the same magic about it it’s probably the closest a game has come to feeling like PGR4 to me in a long time
The best thing about this is that the entire intro is all gameplay, none of it is fake and you can do it all in game.
