People forget, Red Road was injured and the pride rejected him. Not only has he recovered and taken back the pride he has fought off other males and he is a delight to see , what a special lion. Also, keeps his sons…a wise move given the possible opposition. Great photography and commentary from Tristan and the team ( very honest)

It's great to see that Red Road and the Nharu Pride is still going strong and doing well. I would love to see the Tintswalo Pride. The leopardess is such a gorgeous spotted girl. I wish these magnificent creations continuous success.

This is one male that has earned the right to be called a true king, he has fought injuries faced battles and seen them through, he even got abandoned by his pride for a while even in the face of all that he came back bigger and better, he really is a one male army who deserves the highest respect, ❤❤❤❤❤

Red road have over came many obstacles, he’s been in many fights and each time but twice he’s been out numbered and still survived and held on to his pride and territory, he fought off the tinswalo males 1v2, he survived the attack of the vicious mbiri males who broke his leg a year ago but did just enough to back those two ruthless kings off, he then faced two nomad intruders who re-injured his same leg and then he dominated madevu and the Kruger male, despite getting caught in a deadly snare around his neck that nobody noticed except for one exceptional tourist that saw string around his neck and they called in help to remove the snare, on top of be neglected by his pride wen he needed them the most after the tinswalo fight, and he’s still standing tall and continuing to rule the nharu pride and this vast territory with an iron paw and all of his cubs made it to adulthood, 6 females subadults and 3 good looking sons thanks to his unconditional love, efforts and loyalty to his pride
Red road is a beast of a lion,so confident unafraid of challenges ❤😊one of the greatest of all time and to lose his pride as a young lion and get accepted to another,a true survivor🦾
