I’m pretty sure it was exposed muscle rather than torn. Of course to see muscle means the entire layer of skin was sheared off. It was under the front and back legs at the joint where it gets especially tender because every movement at the joint rubs against raw nerves. Like a human having ripped skin in the groin and trying to walk. So great to see her sibling come to aid. Amazing Lioness! 🙏🏼👏🏼🥰 She left the Pride with a purpose. With one single goal in mind, and that was to lead her cubs and her sister's cubs away to safety and not only lead them away but also ensured to stay with them long enough to teach them to be independent before leaving them to their own defenses. Can't believe I sat down for over 50 minutes to watch a documentary. But it was truly worth every single second , and was it epic? Especially when the lioness got injured, the fate of the cubs hung in the balance. The commentary was up there with any I've ever heard.
This is a beautiful lioness documentary. The instinct to raise and to defend her eight cubs surpassed all realities in lion society. Us humans can learn a lot from her. Sometimes we must think outside of the box.

I'm absolutely in love with the endurance of this incredible family. Strong mother's risking their lives to save their Cub's. It's truly amazing to me how one takes on the responsibilities of not only her Cub's but her sisters as well. My heart nearly stopped when I saw Maynari flesh practically hanging from her body. That was one desperate attempt to hunt for her family. I was almost convinced that she wasn't going to make it. I admit I came to tears watching the Cub's leave their mother/mentor behind the way they did. However them moving forward was understandable. I was shocked with the way the sister tracked down the family of cubs. Even more amazed at how well she looked after her sister in her time of being seriously injured. After all Maynari risked her life for the sake of the them all. I was heart broken to see that the two predators had finally tracked them down. But happy that it was during a time when Maynari was alot better, and the cubs had been trained to hunt for them selves. I truly hated the moment the Cubs had to leave their mother's behind. However amazed at the way The two sisters surrendered to the predators. And all to secure the lives of their cubs. This was one incredible documentary from beginning to end. THANK YOU!
Very fascinating. She made a risky decision to save the cubs and even her sister helped her. That's the true meaning of family bonding! I could never think that lions could make such decisions!
This documentary is absolutely captivating! The story of Manyari, the pride’s queen, is both emotional and gripping. The way this film captures the immense sacrifices and risks a lioness mother takes to protect her cubs is simply remarkable. You can feel the tension and her bravery in every scene, and the bond between her and her cubs brings a deeply human element to the wild. It’s incredible to witness how nature tests these majestic animals so brutally, and the decisions Manyari makes demonstrate her ultimate maternal instinct. A truly outstanding documentary that shows the real strength and vulnerability of life in the wild! ❤❤
WHAT YOU MEAN LIKE HER? MOTHERS PROTECTING THEIR OFFSPRING? MANY HUMAN MOTHERS DO THIS EVERY DAY WITH THEIR LIVES. JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT ON CNN, DOESN'T MEAN IT DOESN'T HAPPEN. "if only there were more humans like her," IS SUCH A ANNOYING STATEMENT. THESE ARE LIONS WE ARE HUMAN, WE DON'T LIVE LIKE LIONS. BUT MESS WITH A HUMAN'S CHILD, AND FIND OUT.
This brought tears to my eyes, lions are always believed to be fierce and heartless, but look at all they have to go thru to survive! This is really impressing and has increased my love for lions greatly

Helps keep them preserved. By seeing them in zoos it makes people want to preserve them in the wild. And let's be honest, life in the wild is typically short and brutish, whereas lions in a zoo are treated like royalty. It's a trade off.
@@8thaccount535 True. But not the way nature intended. They've been around long without being bothered. Modern humans should stop poaching. I wish I could change things. But, oh well. I prefer documentaries like this.
@@HappyGameASMR Nature doesn't intend anything, it's not conscious. And if it is conscious, then it created humans, knowing that they would build zoos, so therefore humans putting animals in zoos is what nature intended.

This is probably one of the more fascinating lion stories and I've watched a ton, even ones where Moms ran off with their cubs but none really come full circle like this! Very interesting.
Wow. I’m always in awe of how they communicate without words. Like the lions know when to stay put and let their mother hunt, and when it’s time to join the hunt. Lions will forever be Gods ultimate work of art for me.
I feel so sorry for the mother's wound. All that she wanted is to provide food for her cubs. She doesn't deserve these wounds. I salute her for being a good mother.

OMG! This was very well done, this documentary. Really made you appreciate the journey of lionesses and what they have to go through. Manyari is truly an anomaly. The way her sister just let her cubs get eaten before making out like it was nothing, Manyari has a special magic. She risked her lives and went against the grain, seeing to it that those cubs survived. I think her cubs really appreciated her which is why they found the sister for her in some way I believe. Very special documentary and marvelously done.

I love these nomadic lioness documentaries. I remember watching one where one of the lionesses went into heat and after mating with her, the males accepted the presence of the cubs from the previous male(I don't remember the name of that documentary though, I do remember that it did involve an injured lion cub being up in a tree though). And the White Lions documentary is amazing too. And The Last Lions, I love that one as well. I even remember seeing one where the nomadic lioness held a dead cub in her mouth for 4 days. It's a shame that the english video of Cheetah: Fatal Instinct got taken down on RUclips, now I can only find the Russian version and I can't speak or understand Russian. That documentary involves a nomadic lioness as well.
This one has white lion cubs (2) and this is the documentary where a new male (not looking for a fight) earns his place in the white pride and doesn't kill the cubs. ruclips.net/video/0T7ByWRp5Dg/видео.html Is this the one you were mentioning?
This felt like in emotional rollercoaster, we are truely lucky as humans, we dont know how good we have it. Manyari is one badass lioness. Truly a Queen, a mother, and a fighter. How in the world did she survie such a bad injury? Her insides were literally hanging out. Hats off to Mangwani as well. She played a crucial role in Manyari and the cubs escape and life in general.
My heart broke into pieces when Manyari was seriously injured after chasing the zebras. It's like I could feel her pain from the screen😭She tried very hard to provide for all the adolescent cubs! Very happy in the end that all the cubs grew up safely and get to venture into the wild instead of being killed by new males during a takeover. All the hard work and effort of Manyari and her sister!
“ I tell about Arms and the Man” The Iliad . This is “war, queens and kingdoms “ Plain to see why lions are icons of bravery and society. I find this heart warming and heart wrenching. Without sentimentality or anthropomorphism I see great parallels in all societies, man or beast.

Need I say more about her Amazing Sister?! They make a dynamic duo. What a blessing to have witnessed their story. I can't help but feel deep within me a new found respect for these two Majestic Queen Lionesses and their true Sisterhood!🙌🏼🥰💞👸👸 Thank you so much for telling their incredible story in such an Amazing way.! I loved it!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏻👍🏻💋
Where did the male lion go? The one they’re with in the beginning?
Shoutout to the creators and all participants in bringing this to us 🙏🏽
Seriously Manyari is a legend. Much respect.
Mother's love for her kids goes beyond words

Did anybody felt like they were watching a movie? The actions the lioness took were really amazing i couldn’t help but to smile at the end.

Honestly I kinda feel honored to watch her story. Strength, will, and pure determination fueled her she defied all odds to protect her cubs.
I find it quite extraordinary that Manyari survived the injuries she sustained without human intervention.
That front injury was a little suspicious I’d say there was human intervention. The skin looked to of been stitched
@@lukawilliams4822 They probably decided to help 'coz they wouldn't get a good story if it ends like that, all the privious footage would have been a waste of time and resources
Hey up, Luka. I noticed - which gave rise to my suspicions. She`s been had - rightly or wrongly - by a Vet.
In the end she got saved so I am happy with this supposed human intervention.
In fact, human intervention is only to destroy

👍🦁👍🌷
Incredible how she survived with those wounds. She is truly a queen
❤❤
Watching her made me cry,,if only there were more humans like her
Well we’re not. We’re not lions
Ur not crying stop lying
This brought tears to my eyes, lions are always believed to be fierce and heartless, but look at all they have to go thru to survive! This is really impressing and has increased my love for lions greatly
I can't believe the lioness survived those wounds.. thats incredible resilience... so glad er sister found her then she needed her the most...

I learned a lot from this documentary. The power and love of a mother! How a mother sacrifices against all odds to protect her children. Awesome!
Absolutely wild! She did everything she could to save their Cubs. When things look bleak she herself is saved by her sister and finds the strength to go on. That was a nasty wound. What a legend!
One of the best lion stories I've watched.
Inspiring, empowering, a roller coaster. Thank you to all, thank you especially to Minari and Magwasa.
I'm 62 and I seem to be watching a lot of animal documentaries these days and especially lion and gorilla ones as I'm particularly facinated by the social structures and interactions of both of these magificant animals.
Don't know how, or why, we hold such majestic creatures captive in zoos and stuff. Documentaries do just fine for me!
@@HappyGameASMR Nature didn't intend for us to live in homes with plumbing and electricity surprisingly we do just fine
some lion species like the barbary lion have to be kept in zoos, because humans caused their extinction in the wild

I was legit praying for Manjari 😂😂😂 I’m so happy she saved 8 cubs, and her awesome sister, who also sacrafised her life. She showed up like a miracle!
Manyari is my hero. Truly inspiring mama story.
That is one of the best documentaries I have ever seen about lions. Kudos to whoever produced it.
She’s the queen no doubt, watching a few docs she’s the main feature!! A badass!!
Look up the honeybee dance. It’s cool how animals/insects communicate with each other.
I feel so sorry for the mother's wound. All that she wanted is to provide food for her cubs. She doesn't deserve these wounds. I salute her for being a good mother.
This is one of the best lion video's i have seen yet. What a family. More i need more. Thank u so much.

Manyari truly unstoppable, unbelievable. ❤️ she had went through some horror in her life and to first of all help 8 cubs to live on and then her sister maguaza to help is unbelievable. Her attitude to succeed and to make these cubs live on was astonishing. I loved this documentary even know some horrific things happened. Well done MANYARI and MAQUAZA. To then go back to the males who have hunted them and their cubs down and go live with them is very brave. ❤️🥰
Amazing, something to be learned especially when faced abused husband or father

Heartwrenching watching her wounded 😣 such an amazing mama, a true queen 🦁💞
