Wonderful video!! Oh boy. Shaka and ZigZag being around isn’t good. Hopefully, they will head back to the Birmingham Pride soon. Red Road also chased the Monwana sub males off couple days ago. It was said he found the boys and his Nharus on a kill together. Monwana subs have a lot of confidence. One of them went after the young Birmingham male the other day. Red Road is really having pressure put on him right now. Mbiri cubs are adorable. They are always malnourished looking though. Even cubs in the past have looked the same way. Great video!! Kambula and Monwana are different young coalitions, or are they just one group with multiple names? Shaka and ZigZag are fabulous. So many young and established coalitions, and solo males in the area. Battles seem inevitable.
@@hotbit7327Kambulas and Monwanas are two separate coalitions. Shaka and ZigZag are older males. I believe they are 11 years old. They are an extremely successful and formidable coalition. Yes, lots of young nomadic coalitions and nomadic males around right now. Lion dynamics are definitely gonna be changing.

Mbiri are zig zag and ahaka’s native pride. They regularly ( every couple of months) come to visit and shake their native lands and then return to Timbavati. The two never went into RED’s territory.

Yes ! I don't know why people are making a fuss about this sighting. The Mbiri Males were on the edge of the Territory, that's why there was this sighting, the video is at different times
@@MrLoesoe I thought that he was wholly un-related to anyone in the Mbiri pride or any of the coalitions that previously controlled them (Tintswalo boys); my understanding is that he was allowed to join the pride as a young male (don't know the reasons why he left his own pride) and that the Tintswalo Boys also accepted him.

The old Orpen male was chased off by the Tintswalo males, and the Tintswalo males uncharacteristically allowed his son to stay. I was not aware that the Tintswalo males had left the Imbiris. I must have missed that episode. Or did he mean the Tintswalo males when he said Mbiri males?
@@xaratanga5 it was the other way around… Tintswalo males were chased off by the 2 Orpen males Junior + Buddy. They were nomadic for a bit before Junior died of supposedly naturally occurring anthrax. Buddy who was already battling an injury, and steadily losing condition died shortly after. Tintswalo males are also Mbiri males as their natal pride is the Mbiri pride, with the exception of Lambile who was born into the Nharu pride, and joined the Mbiri pride at a young age. Which could be a good reason why they never tried killing the young Orpen male.
Red Road is my favorite. I’ve only got like five favorites in red roads one of them mohawks the other one and his sons. I have a couple other ones but they’re not in that area.
I love red road cuz he doesn't moan or make any noise while mating, also he slow down and got the confidence. I also like the kambula males because of the love for their only sister

No, the Mbiri are far from the Kambulas Kambulas were seen at Sabi Sands in another kill. Kambula men were also seen with Imbali Pride The video is edited with sightings from different days. They are filmed in sequence and until uploaded to the channel, in sequence of episodes.
They have not been seen in the central areas of Nharu Pride Territory It is easier for them to control lionesses of the Imbali Pride, there are no dominant males
