So suspenseful, and you called it when you saw that huge male striding in in a previous video.The story is clearly not over. Lion dynamics are so complicated, so much their language is scent and just plain sensing things, lionesses with young ones leave, everyone meeting around the banquet. And how can you not hope for Nchile after all he's been through. Thank you, this was wonderful.

Holy crap, that is some beefy and intimidating looking boy! His light and thin mane up top together with the deep dark beard make him look so unique. He looks like some sort of Viking berserker.
And to think that the power of the Tintswalo males was massively reduced by a snare wound to the strongest. Sure, he's recovered now, but it changed the dynamics of the pride and certainly encouraged intruders into their territory.
Ncila and Mandevu, please stay together and protect yourselves and your pride ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Such a fragile and tense situation in this region. Two pairs of lions circling around each other's territory, on high alert; a divided pride of lionesses; an adolescent male who may have to find his own way soon...
He is HUUUGE. Amazing seeing the split pride and how they're all resting but fully alert and ears up.

This is definitely not over. Those Mbiti boys will be back. They have been knocking on the door for ages now. The fact that the three young lionesses were engaging with the young Mbiri manle, that will encourage him as he see/s them as potential pride. Awesome video. I was suspecting his injuries were related to the Mbiri pride and coming into their territory. Thankfully they returned back to east Ngala with the Birmingham pride.

The Large Mbiri male is a Giant. Honestly don’t see many lions facing him one on one.
Big size doesn't mean sure victory.....
There was a lion that was part of a coalition that has become legendary as time wears on. He was known for charging singlehandedly at opponents of superior number. He was not the biggest lion in Africa but the fight in him yielded to none.

Male Lions fighting 1v1 is a rare sight. Neither Male has any definitive way of ending the fight. They can only go for the spine & forelegs. That’s why Males will form coalitions.
Male Tigers/jaguars/leopards can end fights by biting the neck or any vital arteries around that area. This won’t work with a Male Lion since he has the Mane.
Male Lions have truly evolved for Combat. No other big cat stands a chance in a 1v1 with a Male Lion. It’s quite literally a Death sentence.
Not only can he go for the traditional neck bite, but he can also implement combat techniques only other Male Lions would know.

Mbiri lions are Mlowathi reincarnated. Ain't no way they gettin beat by a docile duo. Mandevu got that work by RRM male not long ago. One of the cleanest 1v1 victory you'll ever see.

I followed these males since they were babies, I hope none of them get hurt, but they are quite formidable. I remember the 4th male that disappeared, it was sad. I want to see these lions spread their genes and last a while. I would more prefer that the human race not encroach on the habitats of all these animals and those awesome Siberian tigers as well but these times we live in are disappointing.
So hard to stay positive in the times we are in. I remember when the 4th male came up missing as well. That was around the time I started watching when they first came in. Beautiful boys and they still are. They just are not as close as I would like to see.
@@buffiesilverAgreed. Those big Mbiri males definitely have a much better relationship. They are almost always seen together. I hope they don't catch one of the males by themselves.

I do not like very much what is in the air, these two invading males are and feel already home into N'cila, Mandevu, Lambile and their pride territory. The confrontation has never been so close..., my wish is that N'cila and Lambile to give a lesson to the Mbiti large male, just enough to sack him from the area and for a while.
Unfortunately things are often going an unpredictable way..., hope there will be no death or heavy injuries to both sides.
My 🤞 N'cila and Lambile are staying close to each other for the next coming days.

Can anyone tell me if the 2 Orpen sub adults have been given names as of yet?? Alistair had mentioned that he wanted to give them names to carry on the Orpen legacy and I loved that. To be honest with u, yes if lambile was there he would help if he was healthy, however he knows it’s his job and his duty but just like us, those animals r intelligent as well, lambile would make a business decision to live to see another day and would allow the lionesses to fight his battle with his brothers because anyone of the mbiri males would make quick work of killing lambile because of his illness which completely left him weak & vulnerable, so ncile & mandevu would have to fight but it will not be happy ending for the pride males, they will lose and I mean lose badly and the mbiri pride would be the new mbiri males newest pride addition to there list

Wow, this is very intense the three lionesses should not go back where the pride is, that is putting them at risks. Meadevu ,and Nicle Need to get there act together all they will lose all they have.
