Because people are using the glitch to ruin the fun for other people, the whole point of lucio ball is to calm down and have some good old fun, but you can't when the other person is exploiting a glitch to ruin the fun.

See, this bug was pretty fun and I used it in some games with friends when Lucioball was up. However when it was used it was used in an amusing way, this video is just you killing people with an exploit and then mocking them for getting angry at you.
Thing is they're getting angry over the fact that he's actually playing the game, he got lucky and was able to use it, anybody fucking would. He doesn't play and it turns into a 3v3, everyone had the chance to get the glitch and they're essentially just mad because he was the one to win the fucking lottery.
2 things: 1)When Blizz bans you it is not just your account it is your computer so your friend can't just buy a new copy he has to buy a new computer (or figure out what Blizz uses to id your computer and change that). 2)People often say "oh we were just having fun" when exploiting the Lucio Ball glitch not giving two fucks about the other people who just wanted to play Lucio Ball but couldn't because 40% of games had someone abusing the glitch.
i played about 15 ish games of lucio ball, absolutley no body did the glitch, even if they did, it would have been hilarious, its just a game mode made for fun, you dont lose anything if you lose and you dont gain anything if you win.

It feels like a privilege to have been part of 2016-2017 overwatch because how how fun of a game it was. From the timthetatman hilarious rages to the mass hanzo teams in quickplay, it was like nothing I had ever played. Nothing can replace the amazing memories I made on that game. So sad to see it go. Nothing that good lasts forever, but it was great to be a part of it while it lasted.
Honestly if this had happened in any of my Lúcioball matches I would've found it hilarious, even if it was on the other team. Pc players are very salty sometimes. Blizzard did end up sending out temporary and a few permanent bans because of people in particular who exploited this bug on purpose. So just be careful because they do track people they ban and also ban new accounts they make on other copies of the game. This video isn't helping your case.

I played against a guy who did this and I thought it was pretty fucking funny. I played Lucioball to relax, not to win, so seeing that gave me a good chuckle and then I lost, no big deal.
Games in general are "no big deal", but from the perspective of someone trying to have fun without cheating - or the person playing in the ten minutes they have before work or class, or in the little free time they get while raising a kid - then its annoying. If you want to cheat then play a private match with people who feel the same.
