Wötzel & Steuer (GER) - 1997/1998 Champions Series Final, Figure Skating, Pairs' Free Skate

Munich, GERMANY - 1997/1998 Champions Series Final, Figure Skating, Pairs' Free Skate - Mandy Wötzel and Ingo Steuer of Germany placed 2nd in the Free Skate and ended dropping from 1st to 2nd Place overall. Ingo suffered a freak accident prior to this competition when his right shoulder was clipped by the side view mirror of an automobile. The accident would prevent him from being able to put full strength into many of the pair moves, especially the split-triple twist and the lifts.
