I'd use it in a heartbeat. Also Coral weapon damage is really not to be underestimated I feel. And dual wielding it in PvP is just all sorts of silly fun with the right build.
Lol I might unironically boot up AC6 again just to try this out lol personally, I never use the charged sword attack bc it's too slow and causes a lot of whiffs.
I don't care if it's bad. Anything digimon shall be used.

Did my own Sazabi, with a few flex options for weapons, and it was a ton of fun to play (first ever heavy weight build too, so that was interesting)
Love hearing the commentary on PVP as it is honest and shows your character. You try to learn from mistakes, do the best what you have and keep on trying.

Damn, mad props for winning with what is genuinely an "honest build" in AC6. In a meta that's about staggering as fast as possible, this honest build requires a lot of skill to pilot I feel! The build looks really sweet too! Always loved Omnimon as a kid!
You need to make your blade game more unpredictable, use more melee cancel, that weapon is good at it. Great video.

Oh, that's awesome, I love Omnimon and even have a plastic model kit of him, yet I never thought about making it in AC6. Maybe I'll try it, just a little bit different. I'll use the Moonlight, because I don't remember if he does it in the anime, but in the videogame (Digimon Rumble Arena, ps1), he definitely launches energy blade projectiles!
The model kit is very cool, and makes it actually looks more robotic like an AC, as the style of the model kit is different from the anime.
oooh, you should do a mech from LANCER next! most of my mechs have taken inspiration from it. Personally i'd love to see you try to take on the EMPAKAAI's superheavy claw (i personally picked a chainsaw for it)

@@crestfallenhussar895 For Alphamon I've tried two builds, one with Auroras and the other with laser drones, both a nod to the torrent of lasers from digitalize of soul. The main hand weapons are the pulse blade and the wueger. Charges in fast and gets those close range hits and if you manage to hit with the wueger's charge shot it's an easy follow up with the pulse blade, or vice versa.
The concept for the metalgarurumon build was just to cram as many missiles as possible on it so it has double 10 missile launchers and the handheld launchers. They're both around 70-75k weight. I know something similar turned out to be a meta build but I had no idea when I made it, just thought it would be silly. I'd use it in the story whenever I met any resistance in an ac duel haha.
@@kazeinu0151 Ah the wueger Pulse Blade combo sounds pretty cool. I built a really speedy mech around the true combo of laser lance into charged wueger with max focus on damage using the Basho arms and the 150 laser generator.
Although I admit I was mor curious what body parts you used to mimic the appearance of Alpha and Melga-X.
@@crestfallenhussar895 yeah my bad I thought about that after. For Alphamon it's VP44D, Mind Alpha Core, VP46S, and VP422. For the other version I had to swap to tool arm which isn't bad visually either.
The metalgarurumon build relies more on the paint job to carry the flavor more than the parts tbh, the most resemblance are the mind beta legs, my personal favorite in the game.
Nice! I think It's a lot of fun to make an AC based on themes or characters, I personally based my primary AC on Ori from 'Ori and the Will of the Wisps'. A medium weight Reverse-joint with Rifle (in place of Ori's bow), pulse blade, laser cannon (to emulate a charged projectile called spike) and either plasma missiles or a lightweight grenade launcher depending on situation. I originally wanted to use the napalm launcher since Ori has a move that can set things on fire, but I found that it just wasn't very good in most situations. I find you often have to make some kind of concession either in fashion or weaponry but it's so satisfying when the combo of weapons you pick come together and still emulate the theme of the character

I've also been messing around with cosplay builds based on configurations from Cyberbots. The issue is that these builds typically leave a bunch of unused load capacity unless you get creative with what you reflect the original weapons with, like putting a gatling gun on the Riot because the Blodia's shield/gun is sometimes called a vulcan.
Also it harder to make builds like this work in general because this regulation rewards kiting missile spam builds so much.
Glad im not the only one who thought of making a digimon cosplay. But im not actually very familiar with the series and couldnt find a good one . This is dope tho
Ok, this is epic
There is a cool trick you can do with that coral rifle. While firing you can quickturn left or right and it will turn the beam as well really fast making it much easier to hit something.
Ohhh, this is pretty cool. Certainly would be useful against faster enemies.
I think the VP-422 legs are a better fit. The thinness of the legs is much more overt and they widen just at the ankles instead of as early as the knees like the Mind Alpha. The fact that they are lighter is a major upside as far as optimal weight goes.
In that last match, the stagger meter of the foe was looking so close to full, i reckon one light hit of the pulse blade would've pushed it to full, followed by a second pulse blade hit if you wanted that sweet critical damage.
Pulse blade's 2-hit is so good for that surprise punish.
I would love to see your take on some veritech builds from robotech! (Macross Saga or otherwise)

Doesn't have to use NGI 000 which is heavier than Hokushi, but it gives greater capacity and greater output, giving a greater gap for EN load. And since (Jessica) ALBA's core's supply adjustment is 105 (1.05 times), the generator gains more of energy after post-recovery phase
Love it. I used an omnimon build early on and agree its definitely a struggle but fun. My playstyle was more melee focused as omnimon primarily uses his sword when fighting. Used the nebula instead too. Noce video made me nostalgic for that build
I eliminated Nebula because it looked too thin and I wanted a massive cannon like Omnimon :P Nebula does have a fitting charged attack though.
hey there chrightt, the KRSV is a weapon that continues to elude me on how to use it optimally. its fire rate with how quickly it overheats and its extreme weight make it a really difficult weapon. if you could make a video on how to get the most out of the KRSV that'd be awesome!
Yep, sure
I use to have problems using it too cause I would abuse the high fire rate and over heat it. Just be slow and deliberate with your shots. And use the 1st stage charge shot a lot it charges super fast and dosnt cause a lot of heat buildup
If you work in more kicks into your gameplay you may see more sucess. Especially against that last guy that was always assault boosting at you and kicking. If you know hes gonna just charge at you like that you can just try to kick him 1st. It will interrupt his strategy and will actually turn off his Huxley's.
Bro, I was that reverse joints you fought. I trying to get better at kicks, lol. I tried copying some dudes build that abused me. As you can see by my horrendous kicks it wasn't going well. But after that match I actually started to improve a bit.

Awesome build Chrightt. Loved the video. Unrelated question tho, can you tell me which bipedal armor set is the best at mid weight? I'm still using the melander set but is there something better than this set?
Melander is super solid. I would also check out the VP-422 or the Melander C3 for mid-weights, but this depends on what your build is trying to achieve. If you have the spare resources to use Melander and not go over 75k weight, by all means go for it if you're not trying to squish out additional speed by going lighter.
@@ChrighttI'm going for a build that's not squishy but can have some good boost meter and recovery. Sometimes I just keep pressing on the side step and realized I have zero boost left. While I was waiting for it to fill up I'm bombarded with missiles hahaha. I'm also going for a close to mid range build. Shotguns in particular.
Can you optimise a titanfall titan build, either a customisable titan from the first game or one of the preset ones from the second, i can give more detailes if research doesnt yield anything in depth enough although i doubt that
I think that the Alba core suits the fashion better, and also you have better en regen and pool.
I've made 3 different Omnimon for AC6 (I only have one in AC4A)lol
I use Pulse Armor to represent the shield mostly,
I have one normal Omnimon that uses Kawasawa along with Moonlight lol.
One X-antibody based but colored as the Merciful mode, with secondary melee being the Slicer (heavenly).
And an OmegamonZwart Alter-B >,> Because why make 2 black ones when I can just with ML-Red shift, WLT011 and ofc the Oscillator as its secondary melee lol (pure evil).

Metal Garurumon I've seen tons of builds for too, White GLints Core is perfect for the standard 4legged version.
Don’t forget to soft lock at longer ranges, shot accuracy with hard lock is much lower!

I dont see why people dodge missles with a boost. Just strafe and when they get close keep turning while looki g at thrm and they will barely miss you. Also it looks badass while saving boost.

Someone has suggested me a series to improve all the "pre-made" setups provided by the game by changing 1 single piece for each "section" (weapon/frame/inner). I think All Mind has a preset? (not 100% sure) but I can try improving on that one.

She technically has three, but the one the final boss uses is Gamma, the one with a KRSV and half of Iguazu’s weapons, along with the Mind Beta legs.

7:20 Oh it's not really hard to figure out when the shotgunner is going to shoot you. Unless you're dealing with someone being weird about it, the answer is almost always right away, preferably when he's in range. So that alone cuts out much of the thinking power you need to time the shield. He's gonna do it willy nilly, it'd be in your best interests to do the same. The IG will give you all the leeway you need on the approach. If you pop it too soon, then oh well; less damage+impact is better than than taking full damage + impact. If you catch it, then yay. Too late? Well, now you know how much time you got before getting shot again.
12:00 It was worth a try. If you got him, he'd been stunned and almost staggered right away.. ..........or taken major damage if he was still staggered.

If ER DLC is coming up February 2024, I plan on covering a vid or two before DLC drops and continue covering it once DLC launches. Trying to squish out all the AC content I can before January ends since it is a really fun game tbh. Lots of good customization and variety.

why is being at 75k weight so important?
Huge speed decrease as you go past that
your speed past 75k takes a huge nosedive, if you aren't running the suitable heavyweight AP and stability to compensate then you have a build that is both squishy and slow, the worst of both worlds

It really is a shame AC6 doesn't have physical melee weapons, I want a slab of steel girders, barbed wire, concrete, and hate, to beat my enemies with. If you know this reference leave a like.

@@2205Razors yes. That over weapon was from AC5. But it's not the reference I'm making. But I just want Dragonslayer for my AC. A huge lump of metal to beat someone with like a madman.
