One look at the girl's walk & you can see how she favored her left front & are able to gently/gradually correct her motion, making her so much more comfy. @Swfarriers 100 percent agree and your doing amazing with the content you are posting always enjoy the content and learning from the horse treatment videos ❤️
I can understand the need for the gym workouts, very waring on the back. It's obvious you have great rapport with Tom. I am so impressed with the amount of your knowledge, you obviously have to know so much about horses. Great Video loved it.
I am impressed that you are taking the time to pass on this wonderful profession to Tom. You are also showing him that a farrier must take care of his own HEALTH and FITNESS. Tom is very lucky to be mentored by someone like yourself, as you are teaching him not only a valuable trade, but to respect his own body as well, Don't know if Tom is a "horse" person in that he likes riding and or owning or both, but teaching him to be patient and kind with the horses is also a very valuable part of the job. Young men so need good mentors these days, to teach them to be men in all the ways that will make their life enjoyable and to make a good friend, perhaps a family man one day and how to act in the presence of the owners of these horses. Cleanup is part of the job. Tradesmen that leave a mess behind will not be called back to do work for me that is for sure. Really enjoying these videos even though I am a senior and well past owning horses anymore, I do take a keen interest in them and am always happy to see younger persons learning a trade and there is much to be learned in being a farrier. I will be sharing your channel with others here in the US, particularly my rescue friends who ALWAYS have problem horses that have been mistreated, and not just the owners but the farriers in their lives as well. I hope to see you take on some big drafts perhaps, I would be interested in seeing how you go with them.
Tom keep up the gym as Sam will be a great buddy rather than doing alone and getting embarrassed Love how calm you made Winnie considering how you never”tretted” her before
You are an absolute master at your trade & it’s obvious you love what you do & you genuinely love the horses you care for & Tom is blessed having you as a mentor and I bet some young lasses will be impressed
I don't own horses, I'll never own horses, I'm not a farrier, nor will I be. There is something about watching a person truly connect with the animals and their craft that is so gratifying to watch. Love the gym content showing how you build to take care of the tools youve been given. The banter gives an extra bit of humor to education. Well done! 😊

I came across these videos this morning, and it’s something that I didn’t know I needed. The horses are beautiful, and the way they are treated, and the explanation of the steps you go through while doing the procedure is wonderful. My mental health has been shot for a few months, but watching you has brought a smile to my face. Both of you do amazing work
I have never seen a farrier do such a neat + high quality work 👌 Excellent work lad! Wish I had have known about Swfarriers a few years back I had horses most of my life + gave up after the youngest had an abscess on her pedal bone. Folks tol' me to have her sh0t of which I didn't listen. Got her reet EVENTUALLY + made sure she was sold to a good home after. When 💩 wrong owt to do with horses costs an absolute fortune 😂 I'd have been minted if I ant have had horses + dogs 😅 I'd love to see how you would treat an abscess on the pedal bone or more specifically the aftercare when a large portion of the hoof has been removed please. Monitoring the progress + time frame it takes to heal, if you do get any jobs like that. I used to be a Joiner almost 20yrs until I fractured my spine 🤦🏼♀️ if I could build a Dolorian time machine, I would go back + tell my younger self to regularly see a chiropractor/osteopath 😂 Health is wealth + I used to storm about like I was invincible 😂💪 Thank you for sharing your craft + knowledge sir! 🤜🤛
I’m impressed! You both must have great energy. For her to be dropping her head like she did and to not having been seen for her feet before, says a ton about you both!
Can you please show more of the gym time with you and Tom as well as treating the horses and shoeing? I appreciate you Samuel showing your fitness time too, everything is good to watch!
It’s wonderful to see two men of two generations working together so well. One teaching and the other learning. I really appreciate the creative solutions for gait problems explained as well. I’ve loved horses my whole life, but never had the privilege of caring for a horse in my life. I have the barn, but no horses. Just cats! Thanks for sharing your work with us, and explaining the things you must consider for a variety of equine foot issues. I really enjoy every aspect of your videos. Thank you for caring for horses. The horse in this video was exceptional for a first-timer!
Yes, following up on this horse will surely generate even more knowledge and expertise for you and your team. Wishing great success to your product line.
I enjoyed watching you both work out. Sam, you're a healthy and good inspiration for Tom, and he's going to grow to appreciate not only the apprenticeship but also the mentorship as he grows into becoming a well-rounded young man. The two of you get along great, and Tom's coming along nicely. It's good to see him doing so farrier work as well. I appreciate you explaining the products you're using as well as what you're doing, how and why, so it helps me understand how it helps the horses. I hope you do follow-up videos on Winnie and Trudy. I feel quite invested in them now. ❤
That is why he is so successful. He cares about the health of the animals. That is why he continues to learn. He cares about the health of the animals. He cares, and it shows.
Wisdom, youth, muscles, knock out smiles and beautiful horses. What more could a viewer want.

The content is really interesting and thoroughly enjoyable. I love the banter between you and Tom and I like the way Tom feels comfortable enjoying some banter and jokes with you. It’s good to have fun at work while you’re learning. Tom is certainly learning and he is becoming a very good farrier. I think I prefer the horse side of The content, but I’ll watch anything you put out.❤❤❤🙌🏻
Tom you're coming on nicely. You have a great teacher.
I think Winnie knew you were helping her to walk pain-free!❤
I get so engrossed in these videos, I find them fascinating. You're more than a farrier, you're a craftsman! I wanted to be a farrier when I was a teenager but my Ma thought it was a daft idea for a girl.
Thanks for tuning in claire, I’m glad you enjoy the content and thanks for the compliment❤️ yeh sure plenty of girls do it saying that you saved yourself a bad back 😂Thanks again for watching
Sam to watch your disciplined 💪🏼dedication in caring for the horses 🐎 is a gift 🎁 in itself 🙏🏼 Thank you & Tom for All that you do 🙏🏼 Great Work 💪🏼
I love watching & learning 💞
Horses under your care are very lucky indeed. You are an amazing farrier!
The two of you takin' the piss is entertaining and adorable lol
It's an art form! All starts with caring for the animal, keeping the right energy and holding the legs the right way is key! You your technical knowledge of all the steps is so awesome to watch, an inspiration. Work ethics and dedication. Thank you soooooo much! ❤Cheers from Brazil
I came across these videos this morning, and it’s something that I didn’t know I needed. The horses are beautiful, and the way they are treated, and the explanation of the steps you go through while doing the procedure is wonderful. My mental health has been shot for a few months, but watching you has brought a smile to my face. Both of you do amazing work
I have never seen a farrier do such a neat + high quality work 👌
Excellent work lad!
When 💩 wrong owt to do with horses costs an absolute fortune 😂
I'd have been minted if I ant have had horses + dogs 😅
I'd love to see how you would treat an abscess on the pedal bone or more specifically the aftercare when a large portion of the hoof has been removed please.
Monitoring the progress + time frame it takes to heal,
if you do get any jobs like that.
I used to be a Joiner almost 20yrs until I fractured my spine 🤦🏼♀️
if I could build a Dolorian time machine, I would go back + tell my younger self to regularly see a chiropractor/osteopath 😂
Health is wealth + I used to storm about like I was invincible 😂💪
Thank you for sharing your craft + knowledge sir!
🤜🤛
I’m impressed! You both must have great energy. For her to be dropping her head like she did and to not having been seen for her feet before, says a ton about you both!
"Thick Queen." Now that was a good save😂
All your videos are awesome. I just discovered you yesterday; been on a marathon to catch up!!😊
Craftsmanship, skill is mind blowing, Winnies new shoes are a masterpiece! ❤
Winnie is such a chill sweetheart of a horse!! 😊❤🐴
You are awesome. Really like watching your show and how much work and knowledge you put into it. What a guy!!!
I appreciate that! Thanks for watching ❤️
"Have to have my nails in a nice line, or I can't sleep at night".... hilarious! 😂😂
@@jmausa6688 it has to be perfect 😂
That is why he is so successful. He cares about the health of the animals. That is why he continues to learn. He cares about the health of the animals. He cares, and it shows.
I love watching you assess and treat the horses, thanks! Getting them more comfortable like Winnie is like watching magic.
❤❤ Boom… finally someone who understands the craft and more importantly I like the way you understand those gooorrrgeous horses.. thank you 😊

It’s all about the squeeze, stretch and control not the weight! Great advice 👏🏼👏🏼
