Hi guys I’m Lynne aged 74 living on the edge of Hamstead Heath in Gospel Oak London. Just wanted to to say thank you so much for the videos they bring me so much pleasure and I post off to all my elderly pals all over the place and my best pal Nick who is English and who lives in Chennai in India. Originally a country girl I’ve been stuck in bed now for almost 25 years due to injury and illness so these videos of the beautiful horses take me back home and touch my heart. Just a joy! Thank you SO much!! Love Lynne
Lynne I’m 69 and just found this channel and I’m having so much fun watching…a bit of a language barrier I’m from the US.but like you these young ones are fun to watch because I’m an animal lover especially horses. Best to you
Sam please wear eye protection so next time an accident happens you don’t have a worse injury. You need both eyes to keep up the good work! Love you Tom!
You’re definitely not wrong, I have some bad habits not protecting myself properly. I just get so into my work, but you’re right I do need to up my safety precautions. Thanks for watching ❤
Think this- think of when you’re older ,40/50/60 and beyond.. You be paying for it… trust me. How interesting and a lovely farm location for Tom's horses! Love the humor between the two of you as well. I'm sorry to hear you are still having back problems, but happy to hear you are on your way to full health. Oh! The new vehicle is fabulous. Bumble Bee, huh? A bit of sunshine in rainy Yorkshire! Will certainly see you coming!! Great episode, thanks!!
Me too! Bumblebee has always had my heart in those movies. And you’re such a cutie, my gosh. I can say that I’m an old lady. No fears wonderful to watch.
I never considered that I have a foot fetish but man your work is good, seeing these horses feet when you have finished with them is really something. It's like watching a master craftsman at work and I could watch all day. Oddly mesmerising!
This video was great. I loved seeing Tom's mom and seeing where he lives and grew up, especially meeting his horses. Thank you so much Tom. Louis is so cute. I'm glad to see that you're getting better and healing Sam. See you guys next week! 🙂
The scenic background for this episode was spectacular! It must be breathtaking when sunny. You both live and work in one of the most idyllic places on earth.
I love how Louie wants his carrot held for him 🥰 You two are so kind hearted to the horses and they know it 🥰Watching how your work is done is interesting. I had no idea how much work there is to being a farrier and how different each horses situation is along with needs. It is good that Tom is interning so young, it has to take years to learn this trade. It appears he is learning from one of the best. Really enjoyed meeting Tom's Mom and horses. Missy is lovely, and the Shetland adorable! The Shetland MAY need his teeth checked by the vet, because they sometimes develop a sharp edge that rubs or an ulcer inside their mouth. It shows up as bitting problems sometimes (head tossing, evading contact, head tilting or fussing while being ridden), but also dropping feed more than normal, maybe difficulty chewing. Or, it's a case of small pony just having trouble chomping a big carrot- you can't tell until a vet checks, but it's something to keep in mind. Love your videos, it's so helpful to learn from a really professional farrier.
Thank you Tom for allowing us to meet your mom and your beautiful horses! I definitely see a resemblance. And what a gorgeous countryside view you have at your house. Sam, your new rig sounds very organized and efficient! You will name it Bumble Bee?! Can’t wait to see it!

That took me a second 😂 Flashy cars always remind me of when I was 16 and a friend of mine and I were riding on a country road. Two men in a red convertible slowed down behind us, cat calling and revving the engine. I turned around and warned them to stay back. No cell phones in those days so we were pretty much alone. Well, they got too close and Burger, my quarter horse kicked out the front right headlight. Thank God he didn't get cut!!! If he had, I probably would have foolishly gone after them. They freaked out, stopped and thought they would chase us. I still don't know what the heck they were thinking lol. We took that opportunity to cut across a field at a gallop to a friend's farm. His parents called the police. We gave the police a description of the car etc. We never did hear if they found them. Burger was such a good boy❤🐎
@philmckenna5709 I saw a few this summer🏎, but not a lot of Jeeps. I found that driving on the left was easier than remembering which way to look when crossing a busy street🤦♀️ To the man I probably almost gave heart failure to in Leeds, I am so so sorry 😔 Thank you for not hitting me❤️
That is a smart truck - coffee machine, microwave, sounds, and all of your farrier equipment. Gonna be a cool ride 😊 Missy is gorgeous. It sounds like she needs working. Some horses need to keep active for their busy minds, and of course, she is a youngster. They are much more cheeky 😊 Louis is adorbs, love black Shetland ponies ❤ I'm glad to hear you're getting help for your back. It's so important 😉
Just found your channel! Love watching your gentle nature with the horses! However, I do have to admit that I had to turn on the sub-titles to be able to understand through the gorgeous accent! Love watching and listening to your videos! 🤩👍
I am hypnotised watching you work with horses. I am learning so much about handling and psychology of horses by just watching carefully (knowing NOTHING!). One day I hope to be able to interact with horses half as skilfully as you.
You and Tom are so sweet with his horses. Thank you for posting your video. All of your video shorts I have enjoyed. Please keep the videos coming! Congratulations on the new work truck, the modifications you are going to get done in the shop sounds really cool. I am sure the new work truck will be fun to have once it is done.
You are really creative!!! I am curious to see the modifications to the vehicle, you have listed a lot of things to put in such a small space😅 As an Italian, I am interested to know where you will put the coffee machine.😂😂😂💯
Another great video! Good to know Tom is living, not just working, with horses, in beautiful surroundings. Yorkshire: 'God's own country!' You'll both soon be bombing around the hills, in the snow, fog, rain & wind in your flashy new souped-up truck!! Don't frighten the horses. 😅 Good for you, Sam; all your hard work & care deserves rewards.😊❤
The Orange Transformer-mobile is most excellent, and will be absolutely pure awesomeness when completed! Glad your eye and back are healing up, so you can keep on teaching us the adventures of being a farrier.
Love Tom’s mom she’s beautiful, love Tom’s horses, love the plans for the truck, love the bull you give Tom to wade through love it all- also please be careful driving around that big rig when it’s done ❤❤❤
Nothing about Farrier Wolfdon is unappealing. I could listen to him speak all day long and my days are enriched when he smiles. He is brilliantly talented and fascinating. Gee in Sonoma, Calif.
I’ve put some thought of imagining my favorite car for quite a while now and oh boy I think I’ve now finally seen it in reality 😍! Congrats indeed it’s a gorgeous vehicle sir! Stay safe and thanks for making farriers and smiths famous.
I guess I watch a lot of animal rescue content, which led me to horses which led me to farriers. I've now watched a few dozen videos. You seem to be the only farrier who greets the horses, gives them scritches, comforts them and puts their legs down gently (imagine someone holding your leg for minutes then suddenly dropping it). You're also undoubtedly male model gorgeous (I'm a straight man but there's no arguing that lol) but you don't seem to have an ounce of arrogance or vanity. Please keep the content coming, it's fantastic.
You're so charming in your modesty. You know you're lovely, but in a sense don't fully believe it. Well, it's true. Happy for you and your new toy! You deserve nice things, Sam. Please never lose your sweetness.
Love watching the videos because they are relaxing after a long day at work! Thank you for sharing Tom’s family, and horses. Your work is beautiful and the farm/scenery is beautiful as well! Would love seeing those hills daily!
I can watch you give those beautiful horses a pedicure all day long😊 you have the most amazing satisfying craftsmanship and what a beautiful scenery. I find it so satisfying and relaxing watching your videos … loving the truck . Can’t wait to see the upgrades. God bless from Puerto Rico/USA
You have such a connection with the horses and ponies. They seem to sense that you are a good person. Horses always know because they are sensitive! Plus you are really cute and that accent is quite entrancing…
You two are a joy to watch you really are. Love the genuine enthusiasm and knowledge you have, keeping the horses calm. You have a great way with them. Enjoy your new van.
I live in Wild West Yorkshire too, I used to ride horses when I was a young lad and help out on an Arabian stud farm not far from me at the weekends, I’ve been to loads of stables over the years and I’ve never seen a farrier like this guy before, makes me want to have hooves 😂😜 🔥 good banter between these too, great vid. Wish I still was around horses, miss it.
hi heather, I'm sure Canadas is more beautiful iv never been but always wanted to visit. she was a bit cheeky to start but she calmed down quick after a few scratches. thanks for watching
@@Swfarriers in a word, Hot! Dallas is a very large and heavily built up city--the only green spaces are the parks and other green zones (floodplain areas), so I do notice really nice pastoral landscapes when I’m seeing videos of other parts of the world. While I love Dallas and the friends/family I have here, I grew up in the northern United States (Ohio and Michigan) and really miss the larger forests I used to hike in. And being at the southern edge of the US, we see very long and dry summers. 87 F’ here today, possibly high tomorrow above 90. And Congrats on the new auto-very nice. Given that your work involves driving to so many locations, your transport needs to be comfortable and reliable👍
I was thinking the same thing! I only recently stumbled across his shorts then his channel. Subscribed immediately and been enjoying the full videos. AMAZON! Please think about picking up these guys, even if it’s only 1 season 🙏🙏🙏🙏 Either way keep the vids coming. Glad your back is getting better and like many looking forward to seeing your new truck finished. A true transformers fan loves bumblebee 🐝🥰🥰
I love watching you work the hoofs - - and explaining what you are doing - even though most all of us watching - could never understand the principals of your judgment - if we don't work with horses and don't understand the physiology and function of the parts of the feet - hooves. Best Regards and More Safety and Power To You - - Wonderful How Well You Care for the Feet of your clients Horses - - it's a God-send and I wasn't to say THANK YOU for the good and compassionate way you work with all the horses.
I’m going to keep listening. I am having a little trouble understanding his speech. But of course I’m not gonna give up at all. I love this young man and his helper. I’ll have to leave it right there. Enjoying his channel very much.
Donna may I offer you a suggestion if you have some trouble understanding him? I'm partially deaf so I click the CC button in the bottom right corner, it does help and is mostly accurate. It helps I also lip read fairly well. I enjoy his accent lol
Young man, what an amazing video! The beautiful countryside, Tom's sweet mother and his two horses, too cute. And then your trimming lesson, so interesting. Thank you for everything you and Tom do. Lupe from southeastern Arizona, USA
I use to have a Shetland name Cookie. She always tried to kill me literally. Run me into Oak trees, Boulders, and one day she ran in front of a moving car that was flying down hill ! My brother was terrified of her.
What a beautiful area! Wow. To see that every day. Where I live there are so many trees (not complaining about that!) but you don't see beautiful rolling hills and hedgerows like that. I think farriers are heroes because it's hard work and an art. I remember decades ago where I used to ride the farrier Coy and how the dogs loved the hoof parings. You're awesome. Horses are the most exquisite animals on earth. Even when they nip. Maybe not when they step on your foot. 😖😄❤
13:05 Chiropractic treatment fixed my neck & back from whiplash that had given me years of debilitating headaches: like a red hot poker being rammed repeatedly up into the back of my skull. I then started having “mot” sessions to keep my skeleton in good shape. Regular sessions would probably be good for you in a job so hard on your back!
Nice truck, can’t wait to see when it’s done. Tom’s mom looks like the sweetest☺️ Adorable horses, I couldn’t help but giggle at every nibble😅 The horses have the most beautiful land to roam. 🤣🤣 Tom at the end…🗣️✌🏽😆
Hi Sam, Wednesday here in Pennsylvania in the US! Absolutely love watching your content. I used to have horses but not anymore. I wish we had this kind of technology back then. I have learned so much from you in these videos. I remember farriers not being as nice and sweet as you are to all of your "clients". They love to nibble at you don't they. Take care of that body of yours, I just got a shot in my hip today!"😔 Oh Thanks to Tom and his Mom for sharing their beautiful farm and view!
Beautiful Yorkshire. You are so lucky to live and work there. Thank you for sharing the fabulous work that you do. It is very therapeutic to watch you both and listen to your calm, patient, caring explanations. You are good lads 😊

I saw a few this summer🏎, but not a lot of Jeeps.
I found that driving on the left was easier than remembering which way to look when crossing a busy street🤦♀️
To the man I probably almost gave heart failure to in Leeds, I am so so sorry 😔 Thank you for not hitting me❤️
Love the color! Nobody will miss it on the road!
That is a smart truck - coffee machine, microwave, sounds, and all of your farrier equipment. Gonna be a cool ride 😊
Missy is gorgeous. It sounds like she needs working. Some horses need to keep active for their busy minds, and of course, she is a youngster. They are much more cheeky 😊
Louis is adorbs, love black Shetland ponies ❤
I'm glad to hear you're getting help for your back. It's so important 😉
We have one. You won't be disappointed. Fab vehicle. Reliable and grunty.
Can’t wait to have it out working so excited !
😂I love watching these-horses have such great personalities. Awesome work as always Sam!
I am curious to see the modifications to the vehicle,
you have listed a lot of things to put in such a small space😅
As an Italian, I am interested to know where you will put the coffee machine.😂😂😂💯
Breathtaking Yorkshire especially in the summer!
The countryside is beautiful!
You & Tom are so full of kindness & a caring attitud & you love what you do for these horses.Thank you❤❤❤
Love the new truck! Can't wait to see the finished product! Tom's horses and property are beautiful! 🫶
Love the Transformers...especially Bumblebee!
It was fun to see Tom’s horses. It looks really pretty where his family lives. I’m looking forward to seeing Sam’s ultra farrier mobile!
I can't wait to show it to you guys once it's finished ! thanks for watching have a great week.
Great to see Tom's horses! 🐎
Beautiful farm as well.
Watching your vidoes, you both do such good job atking care of horses!
That's a sharp looking ride, Sam. Bright and sunshiny.
Loved your wee Louis and gorgeous Missy.
Enjoyed your Livestream.
Have a good night.
thank you and thanks for watching see you on the next live!
Love the new truck!!! My favorite color🧡🧡🧡
Hello from Canada to Saucy Tom’s mum!! Where you live is so Gorgeous and Peaceful!! Of course Missy was so good for Sam!!
hi heather, I'm sure Canadas is more beautiful iv never been but always wanted to visit. she was a bit cheeky to start but she calmed down quick after a few scratches. thanks for watching
The countryside there looks absolutely beautiful. So much green!
Hello and best wishes from Dallas Texas👍.
toms farm is beautiful! such nice countryside, thanks you! what's Dallas like?
So cute horses and you do a good job 😊😊
I cast your videos to the TV its like watching the Yorkshire Vet, Clarksons Farm etc they should follow you for a TV series!😊
I was thinking the same thing! I only recently stumbled across his shorts then his channel. Subscribed immediately and been enjoying the full videos.
AMAZON! Please think about picking up these guys, even if it’s only 1 season 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Either way keep the vids coming.
Beautiful new truck, love the colour. Great video, I love watching you two working together, nice people.

Congratulations on the new rig...love bumblebee...ha! Take care of yourself Sam, you and Tom are fun to watch. Love your accents
I use to have a Shetland name Cookie. She always tried to kill me literally. Run me into Oak trees, Boulders, and one day she ran in front of a moving car that was flying down hill ! My brother was terrified of her.
Cool new truck! I love your channel. You do such a great job and you care deeply about your 4-legged clients.
Give him an apple or something while he's nibbling you what a great guy you are with these animals.❤️❤️❤️
This was THE BEST video😊😊😊😊😊
Hi Sam,
Wednesday here in Pennsylvania in the US!
That little Shetland ❤ My first lessons were with one because I was so tiny, too.
Louis (hope that’s spelt right) is a wee cutie and Missy is beautiful. Interesting seeing you explain about barefoot maintenance
That is some orange color. I’m glad you got the color you like, remember, juice be yourself. And don’t forget to peel out at least once.
So many temperaments to remember and deal with. And horses are clever. Love how you work with them. ❤
Omgoodness, that darling pony. She's a slightly smaller version of my first pony. I love her!
