- Something a little different for this channel.
I wanted to try a little bit of music mixing and edited together American Reprise and American Venom from the original score of Red Dead Redemption 2, which is, in my opinion, one of the best video games to have come out in the past few years.
I do not own the rights to this music. These works belong to Woody Jackson and Rockstar Games/Take-Two Interactive, and as such, I have no plans on profiting off of this video and these works. I merely wanted to try and enhance this already beautiful piece of music
I am also posting this disclaimer here just so RUclips can see this and not hit me with a Copyright Strike

How does copyright works? Does this mean you won't get any money by posting any songs that aren't yours? That sucks.
@@jat4958 A copyright strike basically means that my channel is jeopardized and the video is taken down, and since I'd rather people be able to actually hear the song I will give credit where it is do. I also wanted to make abundantly clear is that I did not make this music, its mashed together tracks from the OST

@@jat4958 give or take. Most of the time they'll just hit you with a claim that would take monetization that would otherwise go to you. Really depends on how dickish the copyright holder or how egregous the infringement is

The sound of the flute in Reprise sounds so pure, and then you get hit with the determination of the trumpets, and finally, the drive of the drums. It is the sound of redemption of the soul and the craving of revenge, the clenching of teeth.
Hands down, the best description of this theme that I've seen. You just describe it so perfectly.
This flute at the start it just gives me a speciel feeling i have never feelt from any music. Bet i get the same feeling in 70 years if i hear it again

The fact that you dont get maximum honor for shooting micah is mind boggling to me
Remember, Arthur said revenge is a fool's game, and John killing Micah is only of the primary reasons agent Ross was able to track him down.
@@memesarekeem This is pretty much the main reason why I think the end credits for RDR2 are so off-key. They're so upbeat and looking forward to the future, when in reality, John has just made a tragic mistake. He never should have gone after Micah, especially since Arthur told him to go and "not look back."
I don't want to see John and Abigail's wedding at the end of RDR2. It's cathartic, yes, but it doesn't fit at all. They should have cut right to the chase and given us Agent Ross tracking down John immediately instead of waiting until the credits already had 10 minutes under their belt. The song at the end doesn't fit either (not talking about See the Fire in Your Eyes, the other one).

@@aespair you knew what you were getting yourself into though. That’s the sad story for these men and women is that they never had a chance. Despite that some found redemption even as John got all shot up he did it for his family, and with Jack ending Ross’s life their story finally came to a close. The red the dead and the redeemed

@@borisTheslavMan no, at the end of RDR1 when you're Jack the western time has passed and it's boring and weird so it's probably gonna be with Mac Callender (one of the 2 brothers mentioned by the gang who was the best gunslinger in the gang, and the second was Arthur)

But the most probably is Mac cause he's mentioned a lot of times in the game and when Milton says his name saying he was a full Arthur was really mad. That's to show how much the gang respected Mac. Also we could see what happened in the blackwater shootout

I absolutely love this OST, I listen to it almost daily. They did a fine job capturinuting the whole western and, let's not forget; Arthurs mentatality.

This is a very good mix, and at that, it's mixed together very well. I really couldn't tell what belonged to each song, it blended together nicely. Keep up the good work man!

The epilogue may be long, in fact in original plans it was meant to be even longer. But it is oh so worth it for that moment in which John relapses into his outlaw life and takes down an entire gang in his bloodlust for Micah.

Should’ve said John’s and new version of the music from the first game. This is literally his music, not Arthur’s.
This game really needed the Epilogue because this whole franchise is about John Marston and if it just ended with Arthur Morgan's death it would have been kind of a very meh ending but Goddamn with the Jim Milton... Rides Again? Mission and American Venom, that's how you finish off a wicked game. With that kickass music, you couldn't ask for more.

I wonder what inspired them to call it "American venom" like the missions with Evenlyn Miller are called "American inferno" there's some philosophy behind this, simple it may be but I wonder.
I think the term American Venom is made to show how dangerous and rough the country was relating to the venom, and the most potent venom know was from the diamond back rattle snake. When you think of the wild west you think of a rattle snake ready to strike, and I think that is the image the name "American Venom" tries to portray.
I always just though it was called American venom because of all the bullets you use and the money at the end
