This flute at the start it just gives me a speciel feeling i have never feelt from any music. Bet i get the same feeling in 70 years if i hear it again
@kaloyan alexandrov no, at the end of RDR1 when you're Jack the western time has passed and it's boring and weird so it's probably gonna be with Mac Callender (one of the 2 brothers mentioned by the gang who was the best gunslinger in the gang, and the second was Arthur)

But the most probably is Mac cause he's mentioned a lot of times in the game and when Milton says his name saying he was a full Arthur was really mad. That's to show how much the gang respected Mac. Also we could see what happened in the blackwater shootout

They're so upbeat and looking forward to the future, when in reality, John has just made a tragic mistake. He never should have gone after Micah, especially since Arthur told him to go and "not look back." I don't want to see John and Abigail's wedding at the end of RDR2. It's cathartic, yes, but it doesn't fit at all. They should have cut right to the chase and given us Agent Ross tracking down John immediately instead of waiting until the credits already had 10 minutes under their belt. The song at the end doesn't fit either (not talking about See the Fire in Your Eyes, the other one).

I absolutely love this OST, I listen to it almost daily. They did a fine job capturinuting the whole western and, let's not forget; Arthurs mentatality.
This is a very good mix, and at that, it's mixed together very well. I really couldn't tell what belonged to each song, it blended together nicely. Keep up the good work man!
The epilogue may be long, in fact in original plans it was meant to be even longer. But it is oh so worth it for that moment in which John relapses into his outlaw life and takes down an entire gang in his bloodlust for Micah.
Swap Milton for Ross, Milton is definitely the better of the 2, I was actually kinda sad when he died. Just a man who got used by Cornwall for his dirty work. However Ross took Johns family hostage then killed him for no reason

This game really needed the Epilogue because this whole franchise is about John Marston and if it just ended with Arthur Morgan's death it would have been kind of a very meh ending but Goddamn with the Jim Milton... Rides Again? Mission and American Venom, that's how you finish off a wicked game. With that kickass music, you couldn't ask for more.

When I first heard American venom I was wondering why it sounded familiar. Then I went to go play rdr1 and I realized in the main theme it has the notes to American venom at one point
I wonder what inspired them to call it "American venom" like the missions with Evenlyn Miller are called "American inferno" there's some philosophy behind this, simple it may be but I wonder.
I think the term American Venom is made to show how dangerous and rough the country was relating to the venom, and the most potent venom know was from the diamond back rattle snake. When you think of the wild west you think of a rattle snake ready to strike, and I think that is the image the name "American Venom" tries to portray.
