Oh my god I used to work for the school district that made that yellow shirt. Horrible toxic place to work in. Not surprised that they produced horrible designs. This is the same school district where an administrator swore that red flashing warning lights on a control panel was a good thing and the principal backed her up. Even though me, the guy that installed the system, and the company that made the system all said no they are a bad thing. This is also the same principal that wrote me up for reading on my lunch break claiming I wasn't being efficient in my work.
I had a pot lid that collected water like the first image. Loosening the screw should allow the water to be released. If I remember correctly, we took it apart, cleaned it really well and put a sealant around the part that met the glass and put it back together. I know we used a food safe product rated for high heat to seal it, but I don't remember anymore what the product was. I donated the pot and lid years ago when getting rid of things prior to a move.
The increments on the oven at 1:25 were originally in Celsius and converted to Fahrenheit. The increments actually work with Celsius. 160°F ≈ 70°C 230°F ≈ 110°C 300°F ≈ 150°C 370°F ≈ 190°C 450°F ≈ 230°C
5:59 The sign says "Hakuna Matata". It took me almost a minute to figure out. Also, I have a pitcher without an indentation. This results in the water spilling almost everytime I try to pour water. Also also, the cleaner at 7:23 is German.
The gas pump symbol looks like the one in most cars. The car itself looked like it has a digital readout. That symbol is to tell you what side of the car the gas tank is on. It isn't to tell you where your gas is sitting. Just letting everyone know.
It's funny how often people forget which side of the car their gas cap is on. Before adding an arrow, they also used to have the needle that indicates how much fuel the car has also point in that direction.
The gun shooting the cartridge is more absurd than you think. The gun that the woman is holding is M1911 which is an old gun, it fires .45 ACP, but the cartridge is .308 Winchester, which is for marksman rifle, or simply, sniper rifle.
3:50 How about the Czech Republic flag being upside down might be the least craziest thing they got wrong on that label? 1) Prior version of the UK flag used up until 1801 (had to look it up because I thought it was the UK flag, but knew it looked off somehow) 2) This is apparently for grapefruit, so probably still called grapefruit in the UK 3) French flag so pamplemousse

Why a hollow handle? Because it saves them two cents worth of plastic and they make millions of them. And that Mexican travel thingy said "Hakuna Matata" I think...
Why not put a bit of material to prevent liquid from getting into handle? It still will be hollow, but you won't have this weird quest of having to clean it inside.
@4:45 Did you know: that arrow actually indicates which side of your car the fuel cap is on? Still an unfortunate placement, but just in-case you're a driver who can never remember - this reminder is probably on your dashboard!
My school's robotics club shirt is supposed to say "We failed medical school so we became engineers" but they wrote the "We failed" part in really large font and the rest in tiny font. So unless you are standing right next to the person, it looks like it just says "We failed."
1:23 - I suspect the increments on that oven are 40°C... and then the values have been converted to Fahrenheit and so the increments are all weird and not-quite-even due to rounding. Also fits with there being 4 minor intervals in each gap... each one is 10°C.
6:07 I used to have a pair of one-gallon pitchers like that and get rid of them. Not because the lids didn't face forward, mine did, but because the handle also had fluid go through it. The mouth with the lid off was too small to get washed in the dishwasher and I needed a long and flexible bottle brush to clean inside the handle or mold would develop in it. I said, fuck it, and got a pair of lidded pitchers I could easily clean with a standard brush if need be.
