Which again, means I can't play any of it with her. We're both massive Halo fans and I built my PC so I could get off of Xbox before I met her. So getting this stuff was like "great! More stuff to play alone!" It is especially annoying that MCC on PC's biggest marketing gimmick was that it is crossplay. Only for me to boot up campaign on a Halo discord server with some people only to be told it isn't supported. Between that and Halo Infinite's co-op taking forever, 343 is really neglecting co-op. I want something more than just repeating firefight again and again.
If you want to do split screen without nucleus coop, download the editing kit for halo 3, it's the only version of halo 3 on pc that can do split screen. In the files you open up tag test and you can connect multiple controllers and play split screen without extra steps. If the sounds are missing, copy the fmod from halo 3 mcc and past it into a fmod folder in the halo 3 editing kit.

Nucleus coop allows you to do split screen on many PC games, including Halo MCC.
