So you mentioned polarizing vs timeless designs. I'm curently in graphic design school and learning how and when to use trendy vs timeless design. Because of how auto sales work, companies catering to new car buyers ofc not used car buyers... would they care about a timeless design?

The Hummer EV is technically more fuel efficient than even an Maverick, correct? It is for sure an exercise in excess, so I get the hate. But something like a TRX feels more hatable to me.

@@pawelkilian3890 MPGe of the Hummer is 50-53 combined (depending on the tires). MPG of the Maverick hybrid is 37 combined. Based on average electricity and gas prices nationwide and 15k miles a year, the Maverick is $3-$4 cheaper per month to fuel, but that obviously fluctuates by location and with gas price fluctuations.

The TRX is a fair contender and not one I had thought of in the moment. The MPGe rating of the Hummer is above the MPG rating for the Maverick hybrid, yes. There's a similar argument to be made about something like the Jeep 4xe system versus the standard powertrain which is that the 4xe has a much higher MPGe rating than the standard engine but it can still be seen as an inefficient EV powertrain. -Travis

Understand your reservations about no phone projection in Blazer EV,
but why do you not bring this up as fervently in your tesla/rivian reviews.
While I may agree with you I think it's being unfair to GM.

Tesla and Rivian never offered it, GM is taking it away from EV buyers. Everyone would like T & R to have phone projection but it does feel like a different situation. -Travis

@EVBuyersGuide Thanks for the response, but I think your answer conflicts with what was said during your and Alex discussion. Alex maid a technical user experience deficiency of no car projection, which does not change because Tesla/Rivian did not offer it in their first car.
I still think you should be more even handed in your handling of this issue. If like you say you want the others to add the capability as well, then you need to make the same hubbub in those reviews as well.
