Well done Giorgi! She was imperious. One of the best games I've seen her play. Raducanu was simply outclassed. There was precious little she could do, with Giorgi on fire and in the groove!
Well Raducanu hit a grand total of 3 winners in the entire match - you're not going to win doing that.
@@huzcer Bouzkova won a final with 0 winners
@@wild3estdreams10 really? wasn't aware of that but that is very much a one-off I think it can be agreed and saying that a measly 3 winners is not going to get you a win is correct to say in 99.99% of tour matches. Bouzkova's opponent hit 44 unforced errors in a short match that went 6-0 , 6-3 so yes it was enough as the opponent was playing pretty terribly. equally you have to actually win matches to get to a final. Raducanu hasn't been able to win even 3 matches at any tournament anywhere since September 2021 - you won't find anyone else inside the Top 60 of the WTA who hasn't managed to do that.
@@wild3estdreams10 Even Radwanska won the Miami title over Sharapova, hitting only 1 winner the entire match!!

Ice Princess human Barbie did it! It's almost as if Girogi was about to crack a once-in-a-blue-moon smile at the net. Well done, Camila!👍
Coolness works for me - so preferable to the pouters, shouters and racket breakers.
@@dcartier1692 Absolutely! So fed up of over-the-top gestures and grunts.

an almost smile from Giorgi. I almost fell out my chair!
Yea she's a cool one ...Camilla was playing in QFinals against sharopova in GSs when raducanu was 8 years old .......
Nice Win Camila congrats keep it going 🎉
I love Giorgi's high serve toss. It's a thing of beauty 👍
Yeah, me too. I think it's becoming a trend.
Hi Chief! Yes, after Amanda's service action, Giorgi's is beautiful to watch!
High toss is a curse in windy conditions.
@@vojtasjedyny I think he meant the stretched body not the ball.
IMHO, Diane Parry's service motion is the most beautiful motion in the women's game at the moment. Giorgi always looks gorgeous while serving 🙂
Giorgi is like Ostapenko, when she's on, she's going to blast alot of winners.
Well said.
.....and Raducanu is like Kournikova, when she is good looking the press likes her, but when she plays tennis she loses.🤣
@@jeffbrunswick5511 Raducanu has won a singles grand slam though.
@@networth00 Right - and she's at the start of her career. But if she kept playing like that she won't certainly not win another grand slam.
But that's not Georgis fault at this match ;)
@@jeffbrunswick5511 Kournikova had a lot more sex appeal to be honest.
Amazing Camila! However, too many unforced mistakes in the first set. But the second one: WOW.
Massimilliano Sala:--- Tennis is NOT an exact science.
@@dominicakenu4450 tennis is an exacts science as everything is duplicatable.
@@stickitupyourasteric If you insist ... ...
her problem is that she try every time a winner shoot and this lead too many unforced error, she have to try to play more safe sometime and with some volley
Raducane had more energy in the 1st set, which kept the score essentially tied until the tie breaker. 2nd set, Emma was clearly gassed and outplayed. Great tennis from Giorgi. I like her game!
Giorgi won 17 points in a row lol.
I love Camila! She gets the job done, no drama and excuses!
A serious tennis player
Great job Camila - wish you the best for the rest of the tournament!
Thanks, Camila for showing the world what a champ fraud look like.
Raducane special: hitting back to back where the opponent is.
For real.... Emma kept hitting towards Camila wtf... Emma needed to place more shots where the opponent isn't freaking standing!!
So petite yet so powerful, love her!!
When Serena and Madison Keys says Giorgi hits hard, you better believe she hits hard. If she had more accuracy and consistency she'd be really scary to go up against.
I love watching Camila💛 play, baby makes the racket talk! She excudes so much personality, class and power, amazing, keep going. 🏆
I agree she's is a great player, really destroyed Emma
I would hardly classify Camila Giorgi as a great player. What she has is freakish power for someone standing only 5’6” tall and weighing no more than 125 lbs.
Emma cannot simply put herself together to prepare to defend her USO title. It seems that the impression that she is just a one time sensational champion is proven to be true. Camila is one tough cookie to beat in this match. Emma did not even win a set and she was awarded the best tennis player of the year by ESPY? WHAT A CROCK OF A JOKE!
Can you imagine? In 2021, Emma record was 25-9 one Grand Slam win.
Ash Barty record was 40-8, 5 tournament wins with one Grand Slam and finished #1... But the Espy Award was for Emma, 🤔
@@Bocelliopera34 1GA had the best record in 2022 with 37 consecutive wins and double sunshine records plus another grand slam and Raducanu was given the ESPY award for 2022???
@@tunemeister99 You know, She's British... That explains everything. Same if she was American, she would also win.
@@kacperm6555 What explains everything is her beauty not her nationality. She is world class beautiful. If she were just an average looking young woman, Raducanu would’ve been pretty forgotten, by now.
@@royceskepagny6182 Then she should take part in a beauty pageant, not professional tennis.
Bravo congratulations Camila!
You rocked it, I am impressed with her. Watching her since she appeared. Keep it up.
Giorgi game is so phenomenal I don't understand why she is not in the top 10. She really need to be out on tour more, She is a force🔥
Needs to get rid of her coach/father.
Because she's inconsistent
@@networth00 You are so right!!!
She’s finally got it together in her 30’s before she was pretty awful. She lost in the next round
Final winner tally for this match:
Camila - 31
Raducanu - 3
DAMN!!!!
You forgot to add - Camila 30 yo, Emma 19 yo.. So much for the young "superstar", British "tennis prodigy" - whatever they've been calling her in the past year 🤦 How many coaches did she go through since last year's US Open win? Obviously, she needs a good team and must start working hard, not collecting endorsements and publicity..
With a stat like that you may are able to win against Ostapenko ... but no one else ;)
@@inna7417 I love how British media makes someone special when it's actually untrue.
Camilia I never even hear your voice or meet you but have a strong desire to see you win I believe you are a good person outside the court that's why you have all that love from the fans
Pleasure to watch...God knows what got into Camila...she played so well
Camila is always entertaining to watch. I love her aggressive play and, let's face it, she's beautiful too. 😁😉
My top 2 best butt in tennis 🍑
1. iga
2. camila
Camila is an excellent player!
And so gorgeous
at times yes. at other times - not. anyone who knows her knows that she's inconsistent a lot of the time. she won here last year but is not considered even in the Top 10 favourites by the market to win again. against a decent player she should have definitely lost that first set here.
She's impressive, but has no variety in her game. Same problem as Rublev. Just bashes the ball, and smarter opponents know how to take advantage.
Sabine Lisicki would object...
Very shaky first set for Camila but she managed to pull it together in the tie break and then went further to play some great tennis in the 2nd.
I’m a fan of her movement and how well she strikes the ball from both the backhand and forehand wings.
But your Emma did not won the battle honey. So next
@@Sophia-js5mr who said a thing about Emma ??

Reigning tournament champ vs reigning US Open champ. Beautiful game. Starting to get worried about Raducanu as seems winning US Open is a jackpot. Her game seems worst that Leylah...
True as Leyla a hardworker and doesnt give up even though she is injured the mentality is what makes her exciting ti watch. Raducanu forgot how to play as US champion if you compare her game on US open to now is so different my opinion is due to keep on changing coaches her playstyle was significantly change. She lost the winners cross court shots, the one-two the attack the front is gone she has gone predictable unlike before she is playing freely and adopting according to the players weaknesses. She plays on pattern instead of US open emma with dynamic play
@@marklouieadame That's true, she totally lost focus, fame went to her head, all the sponsorship deals, photoshoots etc, being in the lime light, the millions, probably explains it all. Her level has dropped way down from the US Open.
@@distantthunder12ck55 Flash in the pan. No one was prepared for her game in 2021. No real footage and breakdown. Now that her game has been scouted she cant get out of rd 2
How she manages to play so poorly for so long is astonishing. Normally young players with talent progress by leaps and bounds, in her case she's regressed by leaps and bounds. It might be psychological at the subconscious level. What she needs is not a tennis coach, but a guru, like the one that did wonders for Djokovic"s career.
@@DarkMysteriousObject its not that its scouted, Iga has been scouted right from her junior years and everyone know how talented she is, for emma her playstyle change alot no more dynamic movement she has before, i really think her US open coach is the right fit as they focus on agility core strenght and dynamic movement just like how IGA plays. Dynamic players are hard to beat as they only have rare patterns
Raducanu will have to make it to the quarterfinals in New York just to stay in the top 45, assuming Cincinnati doesn’t go her way.
That's about right. I think she should be ranking around 50 - 70 with her current skill and condition.
@@andyhung424able She can go again then, then have a more gradual rise up the rankings and learning at the same time.
She'll be out in either round one or round two.
@@jgooner894 Agreed. She is 19, she can get better before she reaches her full potential. Her supporters are too defensive when they hear criticism on her game after the USOpen. The fact is, most 19 year olds are not as good as they can be. So stop pushing expectation of her as a Grand Slam contender or a top 10 player right now. She is neither of those things even though she somehow won USOpen last year. Hopefully she can be in about 3-5 years.

And you are the laughing stock because you have'nt done anything in your life .
Raducanu does so many backhands where she finishes low on the ground, wonder why.
She rather not slice for some reason.
it's gotten so predictable and annoying also. adds absolutely nothing. just bad form.
I’ve noticed it since her Wimbledon exit. It’s just stupid you loses all the power doing this …
@@AnaCeleste88 because the ball was coming hard and fast. She was just trying to redirect the ball.
The battle of the babes. Beautiful 😻
Definitely! The courts looked really nice today!! Giorgi's tennis was hot as well. Can anyone be hotter on the court than she was today?
Why do y’all always talk about beauty and not about their skill it’s kinda sad in a way tbh that people view womens sports just for their beauty
camilla is so gorgeous and a very good player indeed
Hands down, this has to be the HOTTEST match of 2022. Two of the most beautiful women in tennis on one court. Wow.
One and Radacanu.
Another quick exit for Emma, if she plays like that at the Us open she will be 100 something in the world, almost all her points come from her victory last year.
Emma has been playing like this all year besides last year us open, her record is terrible!!
It will probably be better for her going from scratch again. Her ranking will settle afterwards and she can become the hunter again and have a more gradual rise like most players, she went through it the other way around.
@@jgooner894 all the great like Federer or nadal or Novak play like they are still hungry for more like it’s their first time, Emma plays like she doesn’t want to lose, not the same player that won the us open!!
Well, she is going where she deserves to be. Out of the top 100.
It will be a clean slate after the US open and she can build in 2023.
Two sets of the BEST legs in tennis! We're all winners here.
They're both 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩.
Raducanu's team must notice the lack of power on her ground strokes, especially the forehand, and work on that.
I think everyone has noticed that, the question is if she can hit stronger and how to do it, she just doesn't have that natural pace, look how Anisimova hits deep and powerful with very little effort, or how Camila does it with a similar size and weight as Emma(Cami is stronger but they have similar body structure). Emma has to put a lot of effort to match the pace of good players and looks like something difficult to overcome. Also a good example of a good hitter is Kalinskaya, she is the same size as Emma and she hits powerful shots. Emma just seems weak overall compared to other players
and she tend to return the ball to her opponent instead of empty area of the court? hoping for unforced error?

Raducanu obviously gave up after Giorgi got the break back in the second set and then broke Raducanu's serve to go up 3-2. From then on Raducanu made Giorgi's service returns look fantastic and Giorgi's rally winning shots look super. In the last game, Giorgi should have closed it out at love, instead of playing two uptight points before winning at 30. Raducanu must be cursing Giorgi for making her stay on the court for two points too long. .... Raducanu definitely is a player with zero confidence now. .... I was pulling for Raducanu at the US Open final. Surely the degree of difficulty for her to win the title was not typical of other grand slam champions', but she and her game was no doubt refreshing to watch. Any solid player ranked in the top 40 can be expected to beat her in straight set now. Sad!
she gave up? More like Giorgi got her shit together and stop making many unforced errors like the first set in which raducanu only hit 3 winners.

Great win. as soon as I knew camilla was gunna play emma, I just knew raducanu was in trouble. Well done camilla rooting for u
Emma's having trouble playing anyone this year, I think we will have to greatly lower our expectations. After she loses points from the US Open, she will be ranked where she deserves to be, maybe 40 to 60.
In her US open run last year, Emma didn't face anybody that hits this hard and aggressive. Sakkari can hit hard but she's more conservative and Leylah takes the ball early but they're not as aggressive as Giorgi. Emma is very good at absorbing pace and redirecting but Giorgi was just in her face all the time.
And to think that Raducanu won 2022 ESPY Award for best tennis player alongside Nadal... Ridiculous.
She did win the US Open, but has gone straight downhill since.
The espys are a joke. Serena won womens athlete of the year with no majors a couple years ago with simone niles, Ledecky, griner, Morgan etc in their prime.
Don't you think that someone who created tennis history that no other man/woman has managed to do is worthy of an award ??
@@robertmartin7594 Yes. Because there were more tennis players who were better, won more titles and matches were more consistent and deserved the award much more than her.

That, along with the theme from The Exorcist was truly a bizarre start to tennis highlights.
I know there are a lot of die hard fans of Emma here but hand on your heart, do you really think she deserves to be a Top 10 player at this point in time? I mean she played an amazing US open and no one can take that away from her but what after that? And please don’t respond to this with responses like - It’s too hot to play in the Sun, poor Emma she is the victim etc etc.
Her fans always have excuses for her... It's the wind, oh the blisters, her back, lack of experience, ETC
The worst thing that could have happened to her was winning the US open... She's clearly not good enough to consistently compete at the top level, she's played countless tournaments since and has always flopped. Her fans are the worst
You are very generous.
The truth is that covid interrupted the entire season, and many players, and their teams simply could not travel. There was too much uncertainty.
Radacanu fluked her way through.

The only constant in tennis highlights that features Emma is her losing and losing and oh wait losing again
Just based on these highlights - on pretty much every point Emma lost, she was hitting back right where the opponent was! No idea what is her coach thinking..
