@@wild3estdreams10 really? wasn't aware of that but that is very much a one-off I think it can be agreed and saying that a measly 3 winners is not going to get you a win is correct to say in 99.99% of tour matches. Bouzkova's opponent hit 44 unforced errors in a short match that went 6-0 , 6-3 so yes it was enough as the opponent was playing pretty terribly. equally you have to actually win matches to get to a final. Raducanu hasn't been able to win even 3 matches at any tournament anywhere since September 2021 - you won't find anyone else inside the Top 60 of the WTA who hasn't managed to do that.

Emma has to put a lot of effort to match the pace of good players and looks like something difficult to overcome. From then on Raducanu made Giorgi's service returns look fantastic and Giorgi's rally winning shots look super. In the last game, Giorgi should have closed it out at love, instead of playing two uptight points before winning at 30. Raducanu must be cursing Giorgi for making her stay on the court for two points too long. .... Raducanu definitely is a player with zero confidence now. .... I was pulling for Raducanu at the US Open final.
