Yeah I think he selected Love me again for first release because he said in his live he loves the song, it’s a really good song…you could tell he was very proud of it (for good reason). I like your concept of a sparkly mermaid it actually fits because he’s in a cave right? Just not sure where the karaoke fits in…unless it’s a merman/maid karaoke lounge?😂 I also love Rainy days and the mv is so artistic which makes sense as V is depicting a sculptor. The thing on the desk is a spinning lamp, a cylinder covers the light and you can put photos or other designs in between and then it just spins around the light. The photo is one from his photo shoot and if you haven’t seen those pics on Weverse yet I HIGHLY recommend you do😂. You noticed so many things including the many baguettes on the rack but you didn’t notice that he was literally painting with a baguette 🤣. A lot of solo projects don't have the BigHit splash intro, but do have it as thumbnail and at the end and in the credits. Might be something stylistic and aesthetic purposes (?) or maybe it was outsourced (not done by the company own MV producers) so the music and artist are from BH but the MV isn't. Examples: go to Namjoon's forever rain, awakening, seoul... Jimin probably felt safe in BH arms, so his solo project does have it. As well as Yoongi. Tae outsourced inside Hybe to Ador producer Min Heejin, so they cannot put Ador splash since he doesn't belong there, but also not BH one bc the MV was produced externally... ish. They should invent some Hybe splash maybe? No idea, but it is not a big issue and as mentioned, it has been the case in many MVs before (I just remember Joon and Yoongi's previous MVs... Daechwita doesn't have it, or Agust D and Give it to me...). Having said that. Yes, Tae releases were completely Tae and that made me feel mmm warm? Like a blanket. I want it to be 100% him, exploring or not, collabing or not. Beautiful voice, beautiful human, beautiful everything.
I'd like to comment on V singing in both Korean and English. Before BTS I never knew how good Korean sounding. But this is a stark contrast. The verses he sings in Korean are nothing short of gorguous. Apparently the Korean language is beautiful. We grew up hearing about the "romantic" languages... listen to this. It doesn't get more romantic than this in my opinion. This style suits V very well. I was disappointed when I heard that BTS was taking a hiatus but this allowed these beautiful songs to be released. Honestly, I think that you're going to get your wish for a happy ending, just because of the title of the album, Layover. A layover is just a break in your travels, so maybe he's talking about a break in the journey that he and this person were taking together. However, the journey does start again after the layover, so I'm guessing that he and the other person will be getting back together to continue on their journey together. Just my thoughts.
