In the dialogue "She looks pissed" there is a way to escape. Just wait for some time (around 20 sec.), which means, don't answer her, then the text will disappear and she will leave the room.

VGSoundtrackGuy If you don't get the pin out of the vudu doll when the book opens on the dresser and just close it back, put everything back the way it was and jump in the bed before marguerite comes back, she will stab you every time. The vudu doll represents you and that pin represents you getting stabbed. If you go to the book after this scene is over it's like capcom pouring salt on your wounds. It's a foreshadow. To prevent this scene simply grab the pin before jumping back in the bed. It's not a chance base cut scene.
Xavier Middleton Clancy is a different character, nothing like Ethan. Even if he were to get her off and free himself I’m sure he would’ve died anyways because of her bugs
