Well, technically, Mia and whoever else worked on E-001 (Eveline) ruined their lives. Had E-001 never been made as a weapon, none of those events would have happened, so therefore it's technically Mia and Alan's fault.

Yes, you're correct. From what I understood watching let's plays that's what I got but I misunderstood. So far it's an unknown company that made her, but there was controversy over her creation as she made other B.O.W.s obsolete, thus, making her a target so that other companies obviously won't lose business. Of course, whoever created E-001 wouldn't let that happen so Alan and Mia were assigned to guard her on her way to a secret lab in Central America, but of course, from the events in the tape in the ship, it was attacked and then of course the Bakers ran into Evie.

You know what's sad yet somewhat ironic is that if eveline didn't infect anyone and took her un-aging meds she would have had her family like she wanted.
COD squad She has no empathy though since she was living in complete isolation since the beginning of her life. All what she understands of family comes down to basic genetics at best. So I'd say she would've used her powers anyways. Eveline couldn't have been a functioning human anymore I think. Not to forget that her fungus infects on skin contact and turns a human being into a mutated monster at some point even without Evie being alive. And after the infection has taken over 50% of your bodies cells the serum would logically just kill you. Jack survived it though, but I guess that's just for DLC reasons.

@@conword2298 Yeah the final few codex's that you collect inform you of the whole procedure. From how she was created to how the whole feeling of a f'amily' for Evie was simply the virus knowing that even as powerful as the virus was, it could accomplish more with numbers.

Seeing Marguerite struggle to keep control is heartbreaking. This twist to the Ethan’s main antagonists really puts the game story to another level for me.
That's what makes really good writing
daughters is by far the saddest part of re7 because it shows you and makes you watch as the bakers go absolutely batshit as they slowly become less and less of a family and more of just a group of genuinely deranged people, especially when you get the from Marguerite as she tries to hold herself back from eveline and when Jack physically recoils as he hits zoe, its genuinely sad in every sense
They way Marguerite wanted her to ran before she mutated is heart wrenching

asilva5021 Well there's no transition to another day in this episode expect at the end ofc. So I guess the initial infection by Eveline was very strong because she focused a lot of her power on Jack and Marguerite. To get the heads of the family under her control asap. Because as a family unit with semi functioning parents they might have still gotten out of this themselves.
That's what she gets for being rude. Politeness is an important quality. Hopefully she won't forget that valuable life lesson.

But unfortunately Jack and Marguerite were killed by ethan,if they don't get killed and ethan tried to escape they had then a normally happily life, without that stupid bitch Eveline, but if Ethan don't kill Jack and Marguerite he dies, and Marguerite was the First that was infected with her gift then Jack and then Lucas, Zoe was not infected. The DLC daughters was before the original game😄

I actually got caught by jack at the end going to the garage, but i had the broken bottle in the draw that needed a lock pick (the reason why i got the bad ending on my first try) and was able to stab jack with it and keep going

Eventhough this game had like nothing of what Resident evil stood for, it still gave you a new feeling of horror
