* Veg Oil

* Pre-fried Mogo
* Tandoori Masala Paste
* Cornflour
* Water
* Chopped Fresh Green Coriander
CHILLI CHIPS RECIPE INGREDIENTS USED:
* Chilli Sauce

* Freshly chopped Green Coriander
Some Good News!!! This year the Leicester Mela (Festival) finally returns on Sunday 21st August 2022. Due to the pandemic the Indian themed Leicester Mela did not take place for 3 years (the last Leicester Mela took place on Sunday 18th August 2019) it would be an understatement to say that we dearly missed it; this year we will definately be there.
The Leicester Mela is a free event, there is nothing to book, just turn up and enjoy the food, the music and the "Desi" atmosphere.
The opening times for the Leicester Mela are from: 11:00am to 6:00pm
With the current Indian heatwave summer that the UK is currently experiencing, it seems more than appropriate that the Leicester Mela returns offering "A Little Taste of India" in the UK
This video is a just a little "taster" of what to expect at the Leicester Mela.
We have to say that this is Desi Indian Street Food at it's very best. This is one of the reasons we go onto the streets - it's in the eager anticipation and hope that we'll perhaps come across Indian street food masters like this.
Prakash Caterers menu has been inspired by some of India's favourite and most famous of Street Food Stalls.
As well as the freshly made Indo-Chinese classic of Chilli Paneer they were also serving up the following Indian street treats:
* Gujarati Samosas
This stall truly reminded of the times that we used to eat the same (or similar) in Navsari Town, Bardoli Town and Surat City in Gujarat, India.
This was the day that "Prakash Catering" bought a "Little Taste of India" to the good people of Leicester who were visiting the Leicester Mela Festival.
