Easy Texas Sheet Cake Cookies
Texas sheet cake is amazing as it is. Making them into cookies makes them that much better! These simple cookies are so good, they didn’t last 2 days in my house. And it’s just 2 of us!
Cookie Ingredients
1 box chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup just vegan egg, or 2 egg substitutes
1/3 cup vegetable oil
Icing Ingredients
1/2 cup melted butter
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 tbsps cocoa powder
3 tbsps non dairy milk or creamer
Directions
Preheat oven to 350
Combine the cookie ingredients
Mix well to form thick dough
Scoop a heaping tbsp, use a spoon or ice cream scoop
Place onto prepared baking sheet
Bake in preheated oven for roughly 8 minutes
Remove and let sit for 5-10 minutes
In a medium bowl add all icing ingredients
Whisk until frosting is formed
Spread generously onto cooled cookies
Wipe away any excess icing
Let sit until icing is hardened
Serve and enjoy!
