No it's not - but there is one thing I missed - there is no printscreen button - I had to change the registry key and map one of the home buttons instead - can't believe I missed that in my review :)
@@notenoughtech Yeah I noticed that too! Very annoying that it's missing! How did you change it in the registry? I'm really annoyed by this squeaky sound, been looking everywhere for a disassembly video so I can disassemble it without breaking it. I want to clean it underneath.

Will the slot be able to hold iPad 12.9 pro in portrait mode. Please suggest I need to use iPad Pro in portrait mode for work and I need it to stay stable in the slot
i dont have an iPad, but the slot is bit enough judging by the online stats for your devicve. The keyboard has alu enclosure - its pretty sturdy and has a bit of weight to it - I would think the iPad stays in place

I believe so, although I didn't lift the caps, it feels similar in actuation to my laptop that is the scissor one.
Is the MIIIW good for iPad? I'm thinking between MIIIW and logi k380...
It would work as any keyboard, plus the mapping for mac could be helpfull? I don't own apple devices, so can't give you more concrete advice unfortunately
Logitech will miss the F1-F3 button, i preferred using miiiw keyboard, either this one, or the new miiiw air keyboard 85 caps, because you will use the F1-F3 as brightness button

Hi sir, i need help as im confuse how to use this key board espcially those with the double keys. What to press example if i want to use PC. I think i have lockes all the keys. How to unlock... Pls do a more detailed video using this keyboard. Thank you
FN is a function key it acts like SHIFT changes the functions of keys with special functions. You can also use FN + ESC to toggle default behaviour of the special keys
I really like the look of this. I prefer mechanical switches but I could live with membranes - but a weird keyboard layout is a killer for me...
It's not a terrible layout if you do a lot of programming as the special characters are in reach (I dislike " over 2 personally) - i think companies should really think about this. My lenovo Yoga had arrow up where I would expect right shift to be. I could not learn the new layout so i edited the registry and swapped the keycaps. Fortunately both were in the same size so I understand how important layout is

Is it good for programming?
In article you will find a top down layout - i like the placement of " and \ more than my other keyboards. It's a preference - it be as good at programing as your fingers will let it :)

Did you press Mac layout key? Special keys (Alt Ctrl Shift) work fine.

You can also use registry editor like sharpkeys to map buttons - since the PrtScrn is missing I have assed it as a combination of shift and Home on mum lock since it's a duplicate

Hi. My MIIIW keyboard has alt button & window switching problems. can anyone help me. I use it on my laptop. I tested both of those buttons on a laptop keyboard no problem. only on the MIIIW keyboard. help me.
As in button isn't working at all? Are you in the Mac mode?
Do you have to press "fn" button to use F1 F2, etc. ?
You can set the behaviour. Lock key either sets the special functions to be accessible directly or with Fn key
I bought the same model and a key broke. Now I can't find technical assistance to repair or even a spare part to buy here in Brazil :/

I was using this keyboard and then when I changed my battery the power light starter flickering green. Now I can’t use it. Is there any way to fix this?
Try to power it down for 5 min than put fresh batteries (or tested ones)
@@notenoughtech found a way to reset it. Pressing inset and pc/mac button when before turning it on resets it. Thank you!

I don't think there is a dedicated key for that for mobile, but with Tasker it's easily done

I strongly advise greenscreen for screenshots. Apart from superior options to usual snipping tool you can set custom keys

Win key should work as usual. FN is for special functions listed on F1 row

Yeah I noticed this after the review! I use Greenshot so it's not an issue, but I was surprised the button got lost

In mac cmd shft 3 or 4. In pc you can prolly program that on the settings or control panel
I AM SO FRUSTRATED WITH THIS KEYBOARD!!!! I cannot seem to seamlessly switch between Bluetooth and USB connection no matter how much I tried. Please help
I assume this is the switch back to BT that is causing the problem? In most cases it depends on the BT stack on both devices to handshake quickly

I don't believe the button is included even as an FN shortcut
me 2 I also think low profile membrane/scissors are much better and I type - ALOT - programming all day long

Under F5? Just make sure you are not in Fn lock.mode

Yes. You can work with Bluetooth or via included adapter.
How long is battery life?
This will depend on the mode and how much you type. In my CS job where I would type a lot, I had about 2 months before I had to put new batteries in. This with frequent days of not turning off the keyboard after use at all

I love it for typing, prefer mechanical for productivity tho
PSA: This is a terrible keyboard. Have been using it daily for 2-3 months; here are my findings:
1) Noticeable delay when switching between devices, approx 3 seconds
2) Frequently loses connection to the USB receiver (multiple times a day)
3) Squeaky spacebar
4) Significant lag in the caps lock indicator
5) If you forget to turn off your keyboard when not in use, it dies pretty quickly.
When it works, it's a pretty solid keyboard. Problem is, it has issues half the time.
Frankly speaking other than PrtScr not being present, I don't experience these issues on my keyboard? My work computer needs USB transceiver to be plugged in once booted but this is due to security policies. By the sound of it, range could be an issue?
I use the keyboard 12h a day for work and other than the battery life being a bit short (about a month) I have no issues mentioned by you.

@@notenoughtech It's been a year and I've found this video looking for a print screen solution (which bothers me from time to time). Other than the lack of printscreen, I don't have the issues he has. I use mainly on bluetooth
1 - It takes a little less than a second to switch between devices
2 - I've had that happen to me 2 or 3 times in the last 12 months. It's bothersome to change USB ports and it's probably something to do with the device's firmware, but no biggie. Not frequent at all.
3 - Absolutely silent spacebar.
4 - Zero lag in the caps lock indicator
5 - Mine lasts a little more than 2 or 3 weeks, I never turn it off, like never ever.
That said, the lack of print screen led me to look at other keyboards and I was considering the TR100 due to silence and printscreen (although it is a FN + num9 situation). Gave up because even though it was silent, it was not AS silent as this one.
I used it for just six months, once the power button lit red, and the keyboard has gone forever. Never worked again. The keyboard sucks.
Have you tried to press insert + pc/Mac button on then turn on the power?
I changed the battery, and never able to connect again. I don't know which version I am using, I have a power on-off switch here. the power notification LED is liting. Also, tried Insert+PC?MAC button.
If that's the case check back with shop or Xiaomi. 6 months is still under the warranty. I used mine for almost a year working 12h shifts. It's still working fine. The only thing are key caps that got shiny from prolonged use. I can clearly tell which keys I have been hitting
I HATE THIS THING!! SERIOUSLY!!! Is such a pain connecting it to the laptop. I have ti change between laptops and wvwey single time this damn thing does not connect no matter what I do.
This keyboard was a huge waste of money. I have one much cheaper and I can connect ans reconnect to each of my laptops without any issues super fast and reliable. This keyboard is nothing but expensive garbage!
