I still watch your videos, as oft as I can; they inspire me to paint each day, and to enjoy the process! I am ever so grateful that you have shared your talent and skill with all of us! You caused me to fall in love with pastels, and the freedom and joy they entail....I love your work and am producing my own works! Thanks! Marlene
stunning!...and thank you for the tutorial! I'm an established "old" pencil and oil artist, new to pastels, and LOVE your work, hope to purchase some of yours someday!!!
Hi Cath, you know that the two most important things in pastel are No1 the type of Paper, and no2 the quality of Pastel . Unison are by far one of the best, and for the money for hand made, pure rolled pigment are extremely good value, perfect consistancy... Canson Mi teintes paper Amazing... the two were bron to be together,, you can always visit one of my workshops,,, I have one in Chester. North Wales once a month.. best regards Les...
Hi I really love your pan pastel demos and I'm looking to purchase a starter set of 20 colours but I'm a little confused as to which set to buy ??? Is there any particular set you could recommend please.. Thank you John Anderson
Can you tell me what colours you used in yhis wonderful video. I would like to buy some Unison pastels but they are really expensive what colours would you suggest is a good starter set. Thanks
Do you constantly wipe your hands with a damp cloth? Or do you do the whole drawing with smudgy paws? Ha Ha! The reason I ask is that you are traveling at Light Speed, and by time you start the next phase of color application, I'm just not sure what is going on with the Paws!
Many compliments to you, and to the winner.
We need more, and more.
Thank you for sharing us your great seascape in pastels.
Greetings from Italy.

Hi, which side of the canson paper was used on this one? The rough or the smooth? Thanks. Amazing work.
Love your skies, what is your choice of paper please?
orange and blue. not only is the palette very restricted but it's pretty much complements. Complements for compliments. :)
I'm trying to do a similar one at home, but do not know the colors you used in the sky and clouds
What is the lighter color you use in the clouds?
